Gaza and Beyond-8: Conclusions from the Gaza Events

Tel Aviv implements a policy of forced migration towards Palestinians. However, this policy of Israel also poses a serious threat to the national security and political stability of Egypt and Jordan.

The word Zion, mentioned in the Torah, means a mountain located in Jerusalem. Zionism is a nationalist movement that dates back to the 19th century and aims to establish an independent state of Israel in the Palestinian region. With the establishment of Israel, Zionism has turned into a movement of thought with diversity in a wide ideological spectrum.

After being exiled from Palestine during the Roman Empire, Jews lived in different geographies for centuries without any ties other than religious partnership. However, when the rising antisemitism and discrimination (Antisemitism) throughout Europe in the 19th century combined with the increasingly widespread nation-state ideas, the ideas of a return to "Holy Zion" gradually began to gain strength. These ideas, which became widespread in Eastern Europe, where anti-Semitism sometimes turned into large-scale programs, were first transformed into a political movement with a high secular and nationalist tone by the Hungarian Jew Theodor Herzl.

Until World War II and the Holocaust, there was serious anti-Zionism among Jews. The belief that the Messiah would establish the state of Israel, which was especially common among some conservative groups in Judaism, was the main reason for this opposition. After the Holocaust, this opposition decreased significantly and Jewish immigration to the Palestinian region accelerated. Today, it is also known that some ultra-Orthodox Jewish groups, such as Neturei Karta and Satmar Hasidic, reject Zionism.

When did the Jewish Immigration to Palestine begin?

From the 1880s to World War II. Five separate waves of migration can be mentioned that lasted until the end of World War II.

Accordingly, between 1882-1903, 20-30,000 people, mainly from Russia, Romania and Galicia, between 1904-1914, 35-40,000 people, mostly from Russia, between 1919-1923, 20-30,000 people, mostly from Russia, Poland and Romania, among them Israel's future 35,000 people, including political leaders, migrated. Between 1924 and 1931, 88,000 people emigrated, especially from Poland, and between 1932 and 1938, with the rise of Nazism, 215,000 people emigrated, especially from Central Europe.

Today, Egypt and Jordan are among the countries most affected by Israel's policies towards Palestinians in the region. These two countries, which signed peace agreements with Israel in 1979 and 1994 respectively, have historically been at the center of the Israel-Palestine issue. Egypt, which traditionally mediates between Hamas and Israel, connects Gaza to the outside world through the Rafah Border Gate. Jordan stands out because nearly half of its population consists of citizens of Palestinian origin and because it has tutelage over the Muslim and Christian holy places in Jerusalem. However, these two countries, which have a say in the Palestine issue, are also negatively affected by the emerging crises.

The developments in the region since 1948 more than confirm this conclusion. Likewise, Israel's attempt to expel Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank will affect Egypt and Jordan the most. Because these two countries will be the first stop of a refugee wave that is likely to start from Palestinian lands.

As a result, although Israeli officials claim the contrary, developments on the ground show that Tel Aviv is implementing a policy of forced migration towards Palestinians. However, this policy of Israel also poses a serious threat to the national security and political stability of Egypt and Jordan. These two countries have harshly expressed their objections to Israel's deportation policy. It is seen that the international public opinion's pressure on Israel is increasing.

Despite all this, Israel's insistence on forced migration will cause a regional crisis with global consequences.

There were also interesting developments during this period. The USA, France, Germany, Italy and the UK ignored the civilian deaths in Gaza and, as usual, emphasized "Israel's right to defend itself" and made a statement to reassure Israel, which was struggling with the shock of the sudden raid. They anchored their warships off the coast of Gaza.

Politicians we call Western came to Israel to show their sense of solidarity. Israel, with the support of the USA, also intimidated Iran by bombing some airports in Syria.

On the other hand, the USA has been seeking to establish a terrorist state and corridor in southern Turkey for a long time. They want to use the local people in this region as their own soldiers. Western countries, which have turned the Islamic world into a bloodbath again with the policies they have followed so far, as they did in the Crusades in the past, are now in a rush to build up military bases in the Mediterranean and the Gulf.

But there is a problem. Western countries do not have enough soldiers to fight in the Region. For these reasons, they want to delegate their dirty work to either mercenaries or subcontractors.

The attacks that Israel launched on Gaza on October 7 have now completed two and a half months. Israel, which initially bombed the region only from the air, began to suffer heavy losses after introducing troops to the Gaza region. As casualties increased, mercenaries came to the aid of the Israeli army. In its statement to the media at the beginning of December, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that nearly 22 thousand mercenaries had joined the ranks of the Israeli army.

It has been announced that there are 21 thousand 891 soldiers with dual citizenship fighting on behalf of the Israeli army in Gaza.

There are 16 countries participating in the Israeli army. The highest participation is France with 4 thousand 185 soldiers. These countries are listed below respectively.

France: 4,185

England: 3,142

USA: 2,584

Germany: 2,051

India: 1,720

Italy: 1,653

Ethiopia: 1,580

South Sudan: 1,462

Ukraine: 1,158

The Arab Spring destroyed the regimes that could have fought against them in the region, such as Egypt-Mubarak, Iraq-Saddam regime, Libya-Gaddafi Regime and Syria-Assad regime, one by one, and the people in the countries mentioned with this turmoil were brought into conflict with themselves. In addition, the people of regions such as Iraq have lost their national identities, libraries, museums and historical monuments, and it does not seem possible for them to recover in the coming decades.

A similar movement was tried to be initiated for Turkey with the FETO terrorist organization with the July 15, 2016 coup, but somehow this attempt failed. However, it is estimated that the economic and social wounds it has caused within the society will continue for many years.

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron attended Fox News' Special Report program in the USA, where he went to discuss the Russia-Ukraine war and the Israel-Hamas war with his US counterpart Antony Blinken and members of Congress.

"The war in Ukraine is a great investment"

Referring to the war in Ukraine in the program, Cameron made remarkable and much-discussed statements. Arguing that the Ukraine war was a great investment for England and the USA, Cameron said:

By spending an extra 10% of your defense budget, you destroy 50% of Russia's pre-war defense equipment and army with the courage of the Ukrainians. Without the Americans and British losing their lives. This is a great investment.

From the words of British Foreign Secretary David Cameron; The aim is to pit the people of the region against each other, such as Ukraine and Russia, and to reduce Russia's weapon power and number of soldiers. Another aim is to ensure that the local people in the region migrate and settle the people they want in the areas they want. For this reason, millions of people living in the region are somehow forced to migrate, thus opening the door to economic, social and cultural disruption in the target countries. The most important action to be taken by the whole world on this issue should be to oppose the displacement of the people of the region by migration or sectarian conflicts in any way.

Contrary to the mistakes made in the past, the demographic structures intended to be created in the Middle East should never be allowed to be disrupted and the original cultures of the regions to be destroyed or corrupted. By the way, why are the people of the region forced to migrate to other countries or lands? This is the question that really needs to be asked.

The most important outcome of the G-20 Leaders Summit (09-10 September 2023, New Delhi / India) is the establishment of a railway and port network that will connect India to the Middle East and the Middle East to Europe (IMEC). The plan has been announced. This new India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), which many experts perceive as an alternative to China's Belt and Road Initiative; It was jointly announced by the leaders of the United States of America (USA), India, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), France, Germany, Italy and the European Union (EU). A memorandum of understanding regarding the corridor was also signed.

With the IMEC project, it is planned that the corridor connecting India to the Gulf countries and Europe will promote economic development by expanding trade links between Asia, the Middle East and Europe. There are two different corridors within the scope of the initiative. These; They are the Eastern Corridor, which runs from India to the Middle East, and the Northern Corridor, which runs from the Middle East to Europe. The corridor will operate between 3 continents and connect ports to each other by rail, road and sea. The main objectives of the IMEC Corridor can be listed as ensuring the security of regional supply chains, reducing costs, and ensuring broad harmony between Asia-Middle East and Europe. At the same time, hydrogen pipelines will be built in addition to these railways. Thus, in the future, efforts are being made to create an alternative to Europe's energy problem with hydrogen energy.

The opening point of the IMEC corridor to the Mediterranean corresponds exactly to Israel and Gaza.

On the other hand, with the implementation of the IMEC project, Turkey, Egypt, Syria and Iraq will be disabled in this trade line. In addition, the country of Egypt, which has a significant maritime trade income between East and West due to the Suez Canal, will also suffer serious economic damage with this project. It should not be forgotten that Egypt is in great economic difficulties today and the country is in poverty and looking for a loan of money.

The USA also aims to cause irreparable wounds in China's relations with Tel Aviv and Riyadh by taking control of Israel and Saudi Arabia, which have strengthened their relations with the Chinese state with the IMEC project.

There is also an economic-based unity between Israel and China that has strengthened in recent years. As part of the Belt and Road project, Chinese companies took over the ports of Haifa and Ashdod (just north of Gaza). However, as a result of strong pressure from the Americans, the concession of Haifa Port was taken from the Chinese and given to a company called Adani Group. However, the operation of Ashdod port is still in the hands of the Chinese.

BRICS countries, consisting of developing countries, came together at the 15th BRICS Summit, hosted by the Republic of South Africa, held in Johannesburg on 22-24 August. At this summit, developing countries invited six countries, including Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil exporter, to the BRICS countries bloc. These countries are Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Egypt, Argentina and Ethiopia.

Trade between Saudi Arabia and the BRICS countries has witnessed significant growth in the last few years, with the trade volume between them exceeding $160 billion by 2022. This amount indicates a significant increase compared to 2017 and 2021, when the trade volume reached 81 and 128 billion dollars, respectively.

Saudi Arabia, which holds 19 percent of the world's oil reserves with approximately 267 billion barrels, holds 12 percent of global oil production and 20 percent of sales in global markets. In addition, it has an internal and external refining capacity exceeding five million barrels per day and spare capacity that can be used in times of need.

In particular, Saudi Arabia's participation in the group is expected to add a value of $1.1 trillion to BRICS production. This will also strengthen the group's capacity in the energy field, as Saudi Arabia is the energy bank and global center of gravity. Riyadh's participation is a very important step to end the petrodollar, which BRICS sees as necessary to break the 'Western dominance' in the global economy. According to economists, an expanded BRICS could account for 44 percent of the global economy by 2040, surpassing the G-7's 21 percent share of gross product.

Due to the discomfort caused by the normalization attempts between Saudi Arabia and Iran in the USA and Israel, the IMEC project being brought to the agenda can be considered as an effort to somehow hinder the Saudi-Iran cooperation.

DEVELOPMENT ROAD PROJECT:

Another important project that concerns the region is the Development Road Project, whose main actors are Turkey and Iraq, and which the UAE and Qatar also welcome. Serious work is being carried out for this Development Road Project, which can be called the New Silk Road.

The route, which contains a serious trade potential between Asia and Europe and starts from the Persian Gulf, to which the UAE and Qatar will also contribute as economic powers, would reach Turkey from Iraq and proceed from Turkey to Europe. In addition, this road intersects with the Belt and Road project, of which Turkey is a Middle Corridor partner. The IMEC project, announced by the USA and India at the G-20 Leaders Summit (09-10 September 2023, New Delhi / India), seems to also target the Development Path Project, which includes Turkey.

The USA, the UK and Israel do not want to lose the global economic, political and military power they have established in the region. For this reason, as seen in Iraq, Libya, Syria and Afghanistan, they dragged the countries into chaos with internal unrest under the name of the Arab Spring. In the Middle East region, terrorist organizations such as PKK and YPG are supported and proxy wars are waged, as in the case of Ukraine. While Iraqis, Libyans, Afghans, Ukrainians, Turks, Russians and Arabs are dying, they are acting together to protect the economic, political and military gains they have established in the region in the past.

At this point, faced with the possibility of strong unification of the countries of the region; England in order not to lose the Suez Canal in the region and to continue its trade, Israel, thinking that it is endangering the great Israeli project and not to lose its future energy resources in the Mediterranean, the USA to prevent its oil and trade from being lost and not to lose its leadership in the world economy and energy field, France to return to its old days. Russia to reach the Mediterranean and to have a say in the newly established world trade and to somehow control the 3 straits in the Mediterranean, China to develop its trade with Africa, the Middle East, the Mediterranean and EU countries, and India to develop the IMEC project to be formed in the region in the future. They started a conflict to ensure their safety, to provide Hydrogen to Europe and to reach the Mediterranean energy fields. The people of Gaza and Palestine are also caught in the middle of the conflict.

For this purpose, Israel started a war in Gaza with the support of the USA, England, France and European countries, with the aim of preventing the separation in the country and the popular movement against it.

Since the small countries that could be a problem for these special purposes were destroyed by the Arab Spring, they aimed to weaken both the military and economic power of Russia, which they may encounter in the Middle East and Gaza, by making it clash with the country of Ukraine. For this purpose, they want to prevent Russia from acting together with countries such as Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Syria. On the one hand, they wanted to disrupt Russia's economic balance by terminating its economic relations with the European Union and preventing Russia's natural gas and oil sales to EU countries. In addition, some countries want to continue buying and selling oil with US dollars all over the world, instead of exchanging oil with their own currencies.

They are trying to prevent CHINA from gaining strength in the Middle East, Africa and the Mediterranean by putting forward the IMEC project as an alternative to the Chinese state's One Belt One Road project and including India on their side. They want to have a share at the table that will be formed in the Mediterranean basin in the future, as it means important economic values in terms of the recent natural gas drillings and the reserves found in the Mediterranean region.

The main issue is that the shares of the countries and people of the region are changing hands in some way because they are expelled from the regions. The same situation is valid for Mosul and Kirkuk.

The world is rapidly moving towards a new order of polarization and sharing. For these purposes, these countries support the fight against each other by turning the people of the region against each other, especially the Muslim people, through sects and sects, and they also provide arms to the terrorist elements they support in the region, under the name of fighting against organizations such as DAESH, which were created for these reasons. No country in the region uses its own soldiers anymore, they want to eliminate the voices that may arise in their own public opinion by continuing this war with subcontracted organizations.

In fact, all these events can be explained as making people fight against each other for their own purposes and interests, instead of their own soldiers.

In short, they are trying to prevent the people of the region, especially the Muslim communities, from agreeing and coming together in some way. Therefore, by highlighting religious and sectarian differences as well as geographical and social differences, the people are made enemies of each other and made to fight, and they are trying to somehow prevent them from coming together and getting along with each other.

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron said, “You spend an extra 10% of your defense budget and, with the courage of the Ukrainians, destroy 50% of Russia's pre-war defense equipment and army. American ar and the British without losing their lives. “This is a great investment.” This is exactly what he is talking about. Imperialist countries gain economic profit in exchange for the blood of the people of the region.

The most important factor underlying the success of these imperial countries is that democracy and education are not sufficiently strengthened in the region, and the administration is provided by a single person or family, such as kings or dynasties. With such a management style and education, the already poor people are more easily manipulated, and the money that the people of the region need to earn ends up in the hands of the imperial powers. Due to countries trying to protect their kingdoms, countries governed in this way are more easily manipulated and imperial countries can get what they want. And without losing a single soldier.

THE THEORY OF DIVIDE, DIVIDE AND RULE IS WORKING PROBLEMLY IN THE REGION. IT HAS PERFORMED ITS DUTY WITHOUT PROBLEM AS ITS INTENDED FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS.
