Kastamonu, Kastamonu, Western Black Sea and Hussein Black Sea
We are a generation wearing black tyres. We were enlightened not with electricity, but with administration. Luxury was a luxury for us. It was reserved for guests. Tea and sugar cubes would be guests with the guest. BAKFED honorary president Mr. In the words of Mr Yaşar TOPÇU, honorary president of BAKFED, "poverty was like a legacy that fathers inherited from their ancestors and left to their children".
We are a generation wearing black tyres.
We were enlightened not with electricity, but with administration. Luxury was a luxury for us. It was reserved for guests.
Tea and sugar cubes would be guests with the guest.
BAKFED honorary president Mr. In the words of our Minister Yaşar TOPÇU, "poverty was like a legacy that fathers inherited from their ancestors and left to their children".
Was geography destiny?
The beginning of the 20th century came with disasters and destruction.
The ancient Turkish homeland Kastamonu Pasha Sanjak martyred 93,000 of its sons in the first quarter of the century.
It was not even occupied.
It had sacrificed its existence to the existence of the new Turkey.
Cide, with a population of 37,000, had enlisted 11,000 sons, half of whom sacrificed their existence for the Turkish existence, as recorded in the records of the Turkish Grand National Assembly a century ago.
Cuteness and beauty did not fill the belly and the people of my homeland fell into expatriate hands.
The silent heroes of the country fell into a deep silence.
He could not see these glorious facts with the busyness of life.
His country did not see.
THE ROAD OF GURBET
The people of the region could not hold on to the geography they lived in.
The vast majority of the population of the Western Black Sea region had to go abroad.
The most difficult and marginal benefits of the city tried to hold on to life in the smallest jobs.
He started life from the zero point.
Those who came first were luckier.
There were those who studied for the first time, those who started a business for the first time.
They led a disorganised life.
And they searched for ways to come together and become stronger, especially in Istanbul.
Powerful businessmen, important bureaucrats and remarkable intellectuals did not come out.
But the free air of the mountains and the understanding of "I do not leave anyone in the lurch" had no place in the cities.
THE SEARCH IN THE EXPATRIATE
In the 1980s, villages and districts formed civil societies where they came together for social functions such as weddings and funerals.
15-20 years of experience showed that the scale should increase to the provincial level.
Around the millennium, provincial associations multiplied and foundations were established.
Although the idea of structuring at the Western Black Sea scale approached a quarter of a century, it did not take flesh and bones until the establishment of BAKFED in 2019.
Istamonu started its publishing life on 23 April 2012 in this climate.
ISTAMONU IS BEING ESTABLISHED
Let us follow this process in Hüseyin Karadeniz's article dated 6 June, which he announced as "WITH RESPECT TO THE PUBLIC":
"I STARTED THIS BUSINESS WITHOUT MONEY."
"I started this business without money.
I continued without money.
During this period, I must admit that I did my job incompletely and poorly. I am aware of this. Believe me, this is all I could do despite the means I never had and never had."
YAŞAR KAYACAN
There are ups and downs in human life.
The time when you hit the bottom is perhaps the beginning of the moment when you will leap to the top.
"I was unemployed for 15 days when Kastamonu TV, where I worked devotedly, closed down."
In those time periods, you will definitely come across the right people.
"I started to work when our honorary president Mr Yaşar Kayacan said, "The newspaper is printed here, this person does the layout" and bought a computer. I had no space. I didn't have the means for an office."
DERYA OVALIOĞLU
Man is either part of the solution or part of the problem.
Through action, initiative, inaction or silence.
But he/she is definitely a part of either the problem or the solution:
"Upon the request of Mr Derya Ovalıoğlu, the President of Kas-Der at the time, I started to work by saying that I could use a room of Kas-Der. 6 months later, I was dismissed from Kas-Der by the incoming administration. In fact, this was the beginning of trouble, grief and the beginning of how difficult things would be, but I had to persevere."
OFFICE KEPT IN DEBT AND DEBT
I think it was nine or ten years ago.
On one such summer holiday day, I was at my summer house in the Aegean.
Hüseyin Karadeniz was on the phone. He was inviting me to a programme about Kastamonu.
For the first time, a fellow countryman of mine was making an important organisation that I was aware of.
I changed all my work and holiday plans and accepted the invitation.
Even if it was not the first time I met İstamonu, it was the first time I saw and appreciated the function and mission of the newspaper.
However, this efficiency was the product of the following conditions and heart structure:
"I borrowed money and got an office. Despite very difficult days and hardships, from that day until today, I have opened my door, my heart, my table, my knowledge, my experience to every fellow countryman. May it be well done."
12 YEARS OLD TREE
For the first time, I have seen such a structure covering Kastamonu and even the Western Black Sea society.
An umbrella that keeps the pulse of the society and embraces everyone without any discrimination.
Its branches covered our country.
Like a huge plane tree.
For the first time, it was breaking the centuries-old silence.
It was a platform where antiques and gems found their value.
In fact, as I stated in an interview, "You are very busy in this business. You bring together different views in different fields. I believe that there will be remarkable results... But this mission should also be undertaken by non-governmental organisations. Our NGOs should work organised. Of course, it is very important for the people who do these jobs to do them only by thinking about their fellow citizens without personal expectations like you, because this is the only way to achieve a regional and mass success."
As a matter of fact, I have seen many kindnesses of Hüseyin Karadeniz that I will not mention for now...
Brave
Humanist
A country that trusts its people to the end...
"Despite all the impossibilities and negativities, I did not leave any son of the country alone in 81 provinces and 922 districts of Turkey for 12 years. I showed the world how jewels from the country turn into jewels. I proudly told them."
I COULD NOT EXPLAIN MYSELF.
The most difficult thing is to explain oneself.
Therefore, someone else has to explain Him.
This is a fact.
"With the name İstamonu, the borders of Istanbul extend to the easternmost part of Kastamonu, and the borders of Kastamonu extend to Thrace..."
With BAKAF and TRADEF, Hüseyin Karadeniz had a profound impact on the Western Black Sea level.
Perhaps without realising it, he showed the value of our regional scale.
He is also the vice president of BAKFED.
He is one of those who cannot express himself...
"At the point reached today, I am conscientiously comfortable. I told about my work, I told about my hometown, I told about human value, I told about the expatriation. But I couldn't tell about myself. I endured everything. I couldn't endure my labour being ignored, my bread being played with. I'm full, I'm carrying it. I'm a human being, I have a carrying power too."
Let me repeat my opinion for the second time by quoting from the same interview: "Thomas Hobbes has a saying; HOMO HOMINI LUPUS - Man is the wolf of man. Man should not be man's wolf, he should be man's friend. If our fellow citizens can be friends with each other and if your efforts continue to increase, Kastamonu will become one of the important power centres".
MY BREAD WAS STOLEN
Many things and evils were done in this country, but no one's bread was easily played with. It was shameful. Because harming someone was one thing, but harming his children and family by playing with his bread was another.
There was even a motto in Yeşilçam films 50 years ago: "Don't play with my bread".
And no one's bread would be played with. A heavy brother would come out to the one who did this and cut the rule that you cannot play with anyone's bread and this evil would be prevented.
A man would not play with someone else's bread. This was generally accepted.
In recent years, people's bread has been and is being played with.
Unfortunately...
"In the face of the theft of labour, underestimation of labour and mobbing imposed on me for the last year for the sake of their own self-interest games...
There is no point in struggling in a society where a sane fellow countryman cannot come out and say, "Is there a man left for you to deal with?"
FAREWELL MESSAGE
We left broken hearts in this mortal sky.
There are those who say, there are those who cannot say, there are those who wait for the time to come to say.
You feel overwhelmed like the July heat.
But most of all, friends who are silent when they should speak hurt you.
In the words of the Wise King Alija Izetbegovic, 'And when it is all over, it will be the silence of our friends, not the words of our enemies, that we will remember':
"In the light of all these feelings and thoughts, I can say to the fullest that for 12 years, I have taken from you, I have spent for you. I have not squandered the trust you have placed in me. I have given my word, I have kept my word. I have not misled, I have not deceived, I have not cheated, I have been clear. I have not published or had published even once in 12 years. I have been wherever the people of Kastamon are. At least I have tried to be."
"I have taken the decision to terminate the 12-year publishing life of our Istamonu Newspaper, which has continued to promote our province with the news, content and organisations we have produced both locally and nationally since April 23, 2012, and most importantly, with a publishing approach based on the expression that "Its people are valuable". I have decided to terminate the printed publication as of 1 September 2023...I have decided to terminate our social media accounts as of the end of the year."
"During this period, I would like to thank everyone who responded to our love and contributed. Even a "like" on the news was too valuable for me to be underestimated, especially your subscription to İstamonu, my fourth child."
"I have a lot to write. As I said, I am full, I am overflowing. When I get rid of all these works, you will read and hear a lot from this page. Now, instead of a dry thank you for 12 years of service (at least), I would like to express my regret to those who start with "but, but, but, lakin" and who will criticise me for what has not been done. I would like to thank you endlessly for your trust and understanding of me in the first place, hoping that you will not remain unaware. That's all from me! Please forgive your rights."
Our people in the region are genetically more from the European branch of the Turks. But it is undeniable that there are Middle Eastern genes culturally.
Lebanese writer Amin Maalouf says that if he had to describe the Middle East in a single sentence, this sentence would unquestionably be the following:
"People who are sad about everything but not interested in anything..."
NATURE DOES NOT TOLERATE EMPTINESS
"Nature does not accept emptiness, of course there are those who do and will do better than us, and they will fill this void." Says Mr. Mr Karadeniz. Let us respond with our National Anthem writer Mehmet Akif Ersoy:
"Come on, let's demolish this Süleymaniye, you need two picks, shovels and two labourers.
But if you say, "Come on, let's build it back, we need a Sinan and a Süleyman."
SHERIFEH SISTERS DO NOT REMAIN SILENT: EMINE ÇELİK
It is impossible to remain silent. The silence and lack of interest of friends is the most painful.
This article is also for not being silent where it should speak.
One of them is Emine Çelik, President of Kastamonu Women's Association.
In her press release, she said; "The decision of our colleague Hüseyin Karadeniz, who successfully carried out his service for the love of Kastamonu in Istanbul, to end the 12-year publishing life of Istamonu Newspaper in his post on his social media account today caused great sadness in Kastamonu."
He emphasised our ancient selfishness: "Those who do not think of anyone but themselves, those who think of their own interests and interests in every step they take, those who pretend to be lovers of the country..."
He pointed out that we do not protect our values and that the fruitful trees that put their hands under the stone are stoned: "The work of those who put stones in front of the true hometown lovers, 12 years of labour, closing the doors of an institution that only struggles for the hometown without any interest, unfortunately, we could not protect the Istamonu Newspaper as a community. Everyone is responsible for this. The voice of Kastamonians in Istanbul announced its closure today with a public announcement. I am very sad. I have witnessed hundreds of times how much he struggled. Kastexpo Istanbul is the biggest fair of Kastamonu business world and Tradef Kastamonu is an international fair that has made a great contribution to the promotion of Kastamonu. But unfortunately, this struggle could not see the value it deserved in Kastamonu and among the names of Kastamonu business world in Istanbul..."
For some people, Vefa is still a neighbourhood in Istanbul. That's all.
"There is nothing more difficult than trying to exist in a community that hinders rather than supports success. I am one of those who know it best and live it very well. If we have made any mistakes, I apologise to Hüseyin Karadeniz and the Istamonu family, and if we have any rights, may they be forgiven."
And reproach... To whomever: "Be proud of your success, gentlemen ... Wherever you are, wherever you are, wherever you are, no matter how thick your wallet is and how high your bank account is, at the end of the day, may God give you a 2 metre shroud and a grave as big as your height..."
İBRAHİM SHABANO: FORGIVE YOU
İbrahim Şabano is a name known by Istanbul Kastamonu associations from Martyr Şerife Bacı Park and Ballıdağ Movement.
He is one of those who devoted his heart to the Western Black Sea movement.
Mr Hüseyin Karadeniz is one of the first to react with his article titled "We Couldn't Protect You". I am taking his article as it is, without even touching a comma.
"Kastamonu TV was our home, Istamonu Newspaper was our child, we could not protect both of them, both of them Ego, Caprice, I have money, I have money, I have money, I have money, I have money, I have money, I have money, I have money, I have money, I have money.
As we could not hold the hand we could not hold, the wages of our own children will be heavy, neither your positions nor your money in your pockets will pass, dedication, effort, perseverance, sacrifice, vicious selfishness, caprice, ego, sacrifice to ego !!!
Take the road before Kastamonu TV is opened, Kastamonu Logo As long as it is on TV, let's see it, let's support those who say that we will support Kastamonu TV afterwards, as it left Kastamonu TV orphaned.
Despite the impossibility for Istamonu, Mr Hüseyin Karadeniz, who has always given from himself, who has always tried to keep the Istamonu Newspaper alive with pure clean feelings in order to add value to the values that bring Kastamonians to the agenda on every platform, we refer to my Lord those who put them into this process as Tömsek as an obstacle by criticising only by criticising them by not being able to protect our own son."
DESTRUCTIVE COMPETITION WE WILL OVERCOME
I have been close to civil society for more than a quarter of a century. I have been involved for the last ten years.
I have interesting experiences.
There are not less than two handsful of people who are involved in civil society and whom I like.
They are qualified and successful people in their fields and all of them are close friends of mine.
But they don't like each other.
They are in destructive competition.
And they harm each other.
I have three observations:
The first is that the I language is not promoted to the we language.
Secondly, the lack of consultation and its fuelling by third parties.
Thirdly, not recognising the fact that internal debates should be abandoned in times of external threats.
Moreover, those who look at the number 6 from below see 6 and those who look from above see 9. On the contrary, those who look at the number 9 from below see 9 and those who look from above see 6.
In other words, there are two sides of the coin.
Just because one is right does not mean that the other is wrong.
If our Pledge, which we recited as students, were written today, I would definitely add the sentence "to communicate with people equally, based on love and respect" after the phrase "to protect my little ones and respect my elders".
In Western countries, it is more important to express oneself correctly as equal human beings and to understand the other person rather than the motive of respect and protection. Respect for human beings is more beautiful in the context of equality.
There is no need for a subordinate-superior relationship. It is important to remember that the Creator created everyone equal and free.
KASTAMONU, İSTAMONU, WESTERN BLACK SEA AND HÜSEYIN BLACK SEA
The title is poetry, it's harmonious.
There's more work to be done.
Long distances to be travelled.
Istamonu was very functional.
It could bring together the top and the bottom of the society.
It had the power to turn a disorganised structure into a society.
It should not be lost.
In short.
Kastamonu should not be closed.
Kastamonu is strong like its castle and rich like the Küre Mountains.
Moreover, it will not be closed...
A son of Kastamonu will come out and claim this legacy.
But can they find another Hüseyin Karadeniz?
I doubt it.
