TV Series Movie Addiction
Superheroes were a bit like fairy tale heroes to me, as if I was in a fairy tale, I would consciously watch such movies knowing that such a thing could not happen in the fantastic scenes.
Sometimes I come across a series of movies and I can't rest until I watch the whole series until the morning.
But I hate waiting for the next episode every week, so I don't watch current series much.
I'm a behind-the-scenes watcher. Either at least one series will be completed, or the series will be completely over. Then I can watch that series with pleasure.
I don't like all kinds of series anyway. The subject should be for me, I think it should be interesting. It should be a bit of science fiction. But it shouldn't be too fictional.
It's hard for me to like a TV series.
Comedy series, fantasy series, fairy tale heroes, love stories, youth series, entertainment series, series with empty stories, I don't know, crime series, zombies, epidemics, horror series, I'm not interested in such things.
It's either really history documentaries or nature documentaries or good science fiction.
Of course, I also like Russian TV series that show the old Russian way of life, I watch those too.
For example, "Sonya, the golden hand" was a Russian series that was usually set in Ukraine, in Odessa. It is the life story of a famous lady thief in Russian history.
***
But what I usually watch are foreign series.
Sometimes there are good science fiction series.
For example, one of the last ones I watched was "West World".
Although this series also turned into a somewhat pointless scenario at the end.
When the series goes on too long, the scriptwriters don't know how to end it.
***
Not all sci-fi shows are great, of course!
Some of them are really quite ridiculous.
However, I have to say that the Turkish TV series that most people watch, and even my wife follows them a lot, are not for me at all.
Like many ladies around the world, my wife loves Turkish TV series for some reason.
The city bride who has arrived to the son of a tribal chief and the intrigues within her new family somehow attracts her like many other ladies. Then she pesters me and says, look, this is how they live in Turkey.
She even knows Turkish TV series artists better than I do, I guess from the Russian-language magazine programs, she keeps track of who did what with whom and where, where they were caught with whom and so on. There are also magazine programs on these issues in Russia. Our reputation is through the roof here.
Here, I don't know how many times, one of the national channels is still broadcasting "Magnificent Century".
My brother-in-law's wife enjoys watching the same Turkish series for the umpteenth time.
The same channel also shows a lot of other Turkish series.
I think the last one was Cranberry Sorbet, which the wife of the brother-in-law followed.
***
As I said, I hardly like a TV series anyway, I rarely watch a TV series, sometimes if I come across something interesting, only then I watch a movie.
And that's only on the internet.
We haven't turned on the TV at home for a long time.
***
Recently, I thought I would take a look at the internet again.
I browsed through the sites that broadcast series to see if I could find an interesting series that would interest me.
No, unfortunately not!
For some reason, the most popular foreign series these days are Marvel series.
It's been going on for a while, mostly fantasy Marvel series have been popular lately, wherever I look, there are Marvel series, series about characters with special powers.
Okay, I've watched similar things in my time, the famous movies of the time, fantastic movies like Superman, Spider-Man were movies that I even went to the movies to watch.
I even watched some of my favorite TV series like "x-man" which featured characters with super abilities.
The movies of Scandinavian legends such as Thor can also be considered as movies that are fun to watch, in my eyes. At least, such movies are useful to learn about the mindset of Scandinavian people.
I even watched Games of Thrones in one breath when the series was over.
But I think the screenwriters have overdone it these days.
If I take a look at any TV series, almost all of them have a story about special people with superpowers.

When we were young, superheroes were a bit like fairy tale heroes to me, as if I was in a fairy tale, and I would consciously watch such movies, knowing that such a thing could not happen in fantastic scenes.
You know how sometimes you want to take your mind off things, at such times some movies are fun to watch even if they are fantastic.
For example, there was a Russian movie called "Noah's Ark" which was a big blockbuster here for a while.
Noy, yes, I think that was the name of the movie in Russian.
It was quite fantastically shot, I even enjoyed watching it.
***
But today's superhero shows are usually watched by children.
How are their perspectives on life affected by these movies or TV series?
How right is it to fill their young minds with such nonsense?
Do you think these series are right just because they bring money?
Are you looking for one of these superheroes who can fly, make fireballs and throw them? The ones who become werewolves and tear people to pieces?
The ones who unintentionally get angry and black tears come out of their eyes and explode the eyes of those around them?
From those who can read other people's minds, to those who can move super fast, to those who can become smoke and suddenly appear behind you, to those who can blow cold air and make you freeze...
In short, all the TV series are filled with super characters with all kinds of virtues.
***
I never liked it, Alien, a movie about a creature that hatches from an egg somewhere in space and then attacks humans was made in a series of movies, and I thought it was a terrible script. And every single movie was a blockbuster.
It's the same now, superhero series are all over the world's TV series platforms.
***
And what a beautiful time it was.
We had Rambo, then the Italian stallion, Rocky Balboa.
Sylvester Stallone made a lot of movies for both characters.
Even Terminator was an interesting movie series.
I recently saw a picture of Leo, the hero of The Matrix, how old even he has gotten.
The heroes of all these movies are quite old now.
But a superhero would be like these guys, he could knock down a huge opponent with one punch, an army alone would not be able to stand against him, he would come from the future and first be the bad robot and then play the good robot.
I'm not even going to mention Leo's virtues, he could neither fly nor run away from him.
Although the movie contained a bit of religious propaganda, but it was a good movie.
What are the superheroes of today's TV series?
He can fly, he can run away. He can shoot fire out of his hand! He can shoot rays out of his eyes!
Mandrake the gambler, for God's sake?
Redmaske Phantom?
He'll live in his secret cave in the forests and become immortal. He is immortal, so to speak, but being Phantom was thought to be immortal because it was passed down from father to son.
Anyway, these were the comic book characters of our childhood.
I wasn't a fan of comic books, but I used to browse through them when I found them.
I mean, superpowers were also interesting back then.
They were just in comic book form.
I think superheroes are still very interesting today.
Why is it that people are so interested in superpowered heroes?

Throughout history, humanity has been inclined to believe in miracles.
Even religious books tell of many miracles.
Moses parted the Red Sea with his staff, the waters opened on both sides, the Jews crossed on foot, and then the Pharaoh's army, which was following them, drowned in the waters of the Red Sea in the closed passage!
Unbelievable, but this is what is written in the holy books!
Are there no other miracles in the holy books?
How could there not be? There are many other miracles, but I don't want to get a reaction now.
People believe in miracles, there's nothing to do.
In fact, all these miracles are usually things that people are forced to believe in.
Prophets had to show miracles so that people would believe in God.
Otherwise, human beings cannot believe in the existence of God.
You have to show a miracle.
No miracle, no faith!
Show us your miracle and we will believe in you!
***
And what will happen to those who believe in today's superheroes with their child minds when they grow up tomorrow?
Will they run after miracles too?
Or maybe they will wonder all their lives if I have superpowers too!
Okay, they won't believe in such things when they grow up, but don't you think there will still be those among them who think like that?
It's a crazy world!
Get out of it if you can!
***
In one of the TV series I was looking at, a superhero came flying to the rescue of a boy who had thrown himself off a tall building so that he could develop superpowers.
Can you imagine that?
In a TV series, the scriptwriters were able to think of a scene in which children had to jump from a high building into the void for their superpowers to emerge.
I don't know if any child has tried the same thing and died after this scene. I think there is such a risk!
It's unbelievable, what a wrong scene that was.
I think such things really need to be supervised.

Some people are inclined to do unthinkable things after people they idolize.
John Lennon's killer was a fan, for example.
He shot his idol after being influenced by his songs.
John Lennon was shot dead by a fan in front of his wife Yoko Ono on December 8, 1980.
His killer, Mark David Chapman, is still in prison, and although he has been eligible for parole since 2000, all 8 of his applications have been rejected.
This is how justice works for some.
***
I wonder if anyone in our country has been in jail for the rest of their lives for shooting someone like that.
I don't want to go into the weirdness of the law in our country, some people are put in jail for no crime at all, then you can get out.
Others, even if they have killed a man, are jailed for a certain period of time and then released.
If there is a social reaction, there are also those who are put back in jail, but only until things calm down.
Who and who, what murderers have come out of prison! They walk among us now.
I think there is no such thing as justice in our country.

Back to the topic at hand...
In short, I think the situation in the TV series movie industry is disastrous.
I don't like the Turkish series full of intrigue, nor the recent foreign series full of superheroes.
Can anyone recommend a series?
I'm looking for something with a little bit of space, a little bit of new technologies, I don't know, something gripping these days.
I'd better look around some more, maybe I'll find something interesting.
Love and respect to everyone from Moscow.
