Sometimes something comes to our minds unexpectedly, I don't know, some people suddenly start writing a poem, for example, some people take a canvas and paint a picture, some people start humming at that moment, a few notes come to mind, they find a napkin or something and start writing notes on it.

Muse

Ilham, what can I get you, tea or oralet?

Say my name right!

How many times have I told you, not İlham, İlhan, İlhan!

I'm telling you right, İlham Abi, tell me what you want, tea or oralet?

Sometimes something comes to us unexpectedly, I don't know, some people suddenly start writing a poem, for example, some people take a canvas and paint a picture, some people start humming, some notes come to their minds, they find a napkin or something and start writing notes on it.

Yes, that's what inspiration is like, it comes to you unexpectedly.

Archimedes ran out of the baths naked, shouting "paper, paper, paper!" He was inspired by the bath bowl and discovered the buoyancy of water! People thought he was crazy or something.

So what if he discovered the buoyancy of water?

Then people built ships!

Couldn't people build ships until then? Weren't they traveling on the waters with boats and dinghies?

Did mankind have to wait for Archimedes until that day?

For example, the prophet Noah, didn't he also build a ship?

He saved the living from the flood, with what?

Did Archimedes live before Noah or did Noah live before him?

Don't say what's the connection, we are talking about buoyancy!

What would we have done if Archimedes had not found it!

***

Jokes aside, sometimes something has to be the occasion for inspiration to strike.

Archimedes was inspired by a bath bowl, for example! And when he found himself lost.

So you can't just lie in a dream and say, okay, it's coming, it's coming, it's coming.

Inspiration is Arabic for swallowing, devouring, and lahama is an infinitive of the verb "swallowed, consumed, burned up (for fire)".

I was about to say "what's the connection?" when I realized that it has another meaning.

It also means "inwardness, divine power, inspiration that takes over the human soul".

***

Yes, intuition, in Turkish, inspiration, inspiration, I think this is the correct Turkish translation for inspiration, inspiration!

But they also say "the divine power that takes over the human soul", see, I don't understand this definition.

Why would God create a power to take over the human soul?

Creating power is a strange term now, I think power is created, it is spent.

Or is "divine power" something else?

Power, three letters! Could there be another three-letter word mentioned here? Maybe they didn't want to mention it!

Divine power! What could this divine power be? And it takes over the human soul!

***

You know, poets were not looked upon very well in Islam.

There are not many painters in Islamic history.

There are no sculptors, hasha, sculpture means idol! Do you worship idols?

In short, art is in a sense forbidden in Islam, craftsmen are acceptable in Islam, not artists.

Have you ever thought about the reason?

***

That's the reason!

Inspiration!

Inspiration, which is necessary for an artist to produce something, is called the divine power that takes possession of the human soul, in the dictionary, but that power is actually demonic power, it requires a demonic power.

An artist whose soul is possessed by the devil or evil jinns, or poets for that matter, are viewed in the same way in Islam; they cannot create art on their own.

The resulting work is the work of the devil, the work of jinns and fairies.

Because this being you call a human being cannot think of such things on his own.

Something has to nudge him, you can't do such things with a breeze, with inspiration!

The artist is possessed!

He is possessed by the devil!

***

If inspiration is such a dangerous thing, then I was not inspired, I received a revelation!

It came to me, it is not my idea, it is Allah's idea, His word! Gabriel (Gabriel) conveyed it to me.

Can't we get away with that?

No, we can't!

Gabriel alayhis salam does not convey the words of Allah to just anyone. You have to be the chosen one!

What is a prophet?

It comes from the Persian word peydam, peygam, which means news, message.

A prophet is a messenger, a messenger, especially a messenger of God.

At first they didn't believe in Muhammad, they said he was saying these words by inspiration, that he was possessed by a jinn, that the devil had possessed his soul.

He hardly convinced people that the source of these words was not inspiration but revelation. They are the words of Allah, that's why many verses in the Qur'an begin with "Say".

When we read the Qur'an, we start with the besmela, in the name of Allah, as if we are saying in the name of the law.

I am not saying it, I am speaking in the name of Allah!

***

Going back to the issue of inspiration, this is why there are hardly any artists in Islamic history.

It is actually a reservation from the old Arab beliefs.

Later on, the ulema (Islamic scholars!) softened this view a bit, at least there were some miniaturists and calligraphers emerged over time.

Art is inherent in human nature, no matter how much you try to prevent it, people find a way to show their art.

***

Yes, it is an interesting thing to be inspired.

Whatever happens to some people, however it happens, however their brains work, suddenly a light goes on in their minds and that magnificent work is born!

They think of something that no one has ever thought of before.

The muse!

The muse touches a person with her magic wand and that person suddenly finds the answer to that unknown question, or draws that picture, composes that music.

Those words fall out of his mouth! It becomes a poem, a song.

***

You're my muse!

Fairies are not like genies, they are cute little beings with wings!

They don't have a gender, but often when we think of a fairy, we think of a cute female character.

Fairy tales, fairy tales, fairy tales where fairies are the protagonists.

The word fairy tale was first used by Madame Catherine-Anne d'Aulnoy in her 4-volume book 'Les contes de fees' (The Tales of the Fairies), "tales about fairies", published in 1697 for the upper class.

When it was translated into English as "fairy tales", its use became widespread.

Fairy tales are a separate genre originating from folk tales.

In the 15th century, with the invention of the printed press in England and the increase in literacy, instead of oral storytelling, fairy tales were transformed into printed form with a radical change.

In the meantime, a separate genre called fairy tales emerged from these old folk tales, which were taken over and changed by some talented writers.

At first, these tales were told in salons to give aristocratic adults a sense of mission. In other words, reading fairy tale books to an audience in salons was a form of activity.

Maybe you have noticed that in some movies, this scene is shown in old time movies.

As a matter of fact, even though children come to mind when we think of fairy tales today, historically these tales were not written for children, but for adults!

Fairy tales later became fairy tales for children when their content was made more suitable for children.

Fairy tales for adults, fairy tales!

***

So the term "muse" is not unique to us!

It means that cultures communicate somehow!

It is believed that there are muses, love fairies, earth fairies, water fairies, lots of fairies. Cute little female characters with butterfly wings!

Fairy tales are beautiful.

***

Let's end with the muse.

Art is beautiful, it is defined in the dictionary as all the methods used in the expression and expression of a feeling, design, beauty.

I think art is the meaning of life, all methods of self-expression are art in my opinion.

Everyone is an artist, because we all want to express what is inside us and we do it in some way.

***

Come on, brother Ilham, show us your art!

Tea or oralet? What should I bring my brother?

How many times have I told you to get my name right? Ilham, Ilham! Not Ilhan!

Run and get me a coffee, I'm in a good mood, your brother Recep is going to Mars for the second time, let me have a cup of coffee for him in the open air.

Run, run, run.

("Ilhan" means emperor, ruler! It used to be the "san", the title given to Mongolian emperors!)

***

Should I say, "May you be possessed" or should I say "May you be possessed by the devil"?

Stay with art!

Love and greetings to everyone from Moscow.
