My Dream of Flying Among the Clouds

When the kneecaps of my inner child, who was a petulant and rebellious child, were filled with scars, that's when I accepted the truth. The first thing we do when we are faced with difficulties is to feel sorry for ourselves and rebel, whether we admit it or not.

Sometimes we feel how tired we are. We see the difficulties piling up on top of each other. When I was little, influenced by the cartoons and old Turkish movies I watched at the time, I used to dream that I would live in a small house with a roof in a garden. This must be what they call a child's mind. I would close my eyes and dream and be happy.

Now I want to close my eyes again, I want to get lost in the clouds in the sky that I can't get enough of and sometimes I want to watch the waves on a stormy full moon as much as I can. Over time, I realized that it is our dreams and beliefs that exist within us and actually sustain us. As I grew up, I later realized how great the richness we carried inside us as children was.

When the kneecaps of my inner child, who was a petulant and rebellious child, were filled with scars, that's when I accepted the truth. The first thing we do when we are faced with difficulties is to feel sorry for ourselves and rebel, whether we admit it or not. We raise the flag of rebellion every time, as if what has happened to us has only happened to us. We multiply all the truths we have learned by zero and think that nothing matters anymore. We think the world is only about us.

In endless, endless, inexhaustible words and sentences that start with "But that's what I knew", we try to look stoic on the one hand, and on the other hand, we go into sobbing fits. If not immediately, then a few hours later we realize something. We realize that the more difficulties and challenges we face, the stronger we can stand. Isn't this where the magic of the universe comes into play! This is why I have always questioned. I have always wondered why some people have less difficulty while others have more. There must be a meaning to this difference, I thought to myself.

It was only years later that I found the answer to this question. The Creator does not give people any difficulty that they cannot overcome in this life adventure. Actually, this is not "Pollyannism", on the contrary, it is accepting and letting go of all emotions. The more logs that are thrown into a burning fire, won't the fire burn even more?

Such are the difficulties we face in our lives.

Each log thrown into the fire makes it burn with more appetite and flame. The fire is nourished and strengthened by the logs thrown into it, added to it, and it continues to burn with even more splendor. The great being called human being is also like this.

Nothing is permanent. Not hardship, not evil, not difficulty. One day they will all be gone from our lives. New ones will come, the important thing is that we overcome these adversities, not with great damages, but with minor shocks and abrasions, without collapsing, without giving up the love of life. What sustains a person is the truths he believes in and the degree of faith he carries within him. What sustains a nation is the truths and beliefs it believes in. It is the goal of existence.

When I was a little child, sometimes I could dream without closing my eyes. These days, though, I just want to close my eyes and float away in the clouds in the sky, even if only for a short time. Even if I have some difficulty, I can dream again with the child in me.

This is a nice break for me, but I want it to be limited to seconds, nothing more.

To get lost in the clouds of love and peace and love.

Stay with respectful love...
