Nothing is over until you say it's over
After the election, I continue my journey on my train of life. I see the election process as a part of this train journey and I evaluate it in this way. I don't know which stop we will get off at and when. For all of us, which stop we will get off at is a mystery. Isn't it this enigma that makes life enjoyable and mysterious?
I don't know, I have read so much and touched so many people that even now, as I write these lines, I doubt that even the people of my own country, whom I understand and try to understand, will understand me! The elections of my country in 2023 ended with the People's election on May 28th. Undoubtedly, everyone will evaluate and comment on this situation from their own point of view. I wanted to evaluate this election from the perspective of my knowledge and experiences.
Life goes on, whether we want it to or not, it flows in its own flow and harmony. Sorrows and joys are not eternal. Life is based on the philosophy of yesterday, today and tomorrow. We live today, but the lessons we learn from the past are very important for our halves. The easiest thing in life is not to take responsibility. Those who do not take responsibility never pay the price. My political view and line is clear. Those who read my articles know this very well. I am not good with "isms". I think it is quite normal for those who are interested in philosophy and human development to be like this.

Recently, there have been some situations that I have been experiencing more and more frequently. Whenever I meet people, since they know what I do, they say "suggest something to reformat our brains". In particular, they complain that they are in the vortex of negative thoughts that our nation is in, that they feel that something bad is going to happen and that they cannot taste anything. From time to time, I am also influenced by such feelings and thoughts. If I say that I am not, you will not believe me and I would be lying. When I ask them how they spend their days, they start talking about working hard, not being able to breathe, having no time for themselves, being in a hurry because of the responsibility of providing for the household, children, sometimes a spouse, the state of the country and so on. I say that these things are "normal", because our lives, which are focused only on working and providing for the household, make us constantly postpone our wishes and desires. As a result, each of us finds ourselves struggling to adapt to a life that is becoming increasingly monotonous and vicious. This naturally leads people to unhappiness, which in turn can lead to a number of emotional, mental and even physical problems. No one can bear such a heavy burden and responsibility!
None of us are Yunus or Mevlana. We are plain and simple people. Today, burdened in every respect and forced to live on their own, people have to cope with feelings of loneliness, alienation and worthlessness. As such, they often succumb to these feelings. Especially in recent years, people feel the need to turn to antidepressant drugs to find a solution to their problems. Psychiatry sessions are resorted to. They desperately try to access the self-solutions available in the virtual environments of our modern world. While some of these orientations work, others make the situation even more intractable.
Although it depends on the individual, some people may go to extremes and turn to coffee fortune-telling, seclusion, pilgrims, hodjas and exorcists. Such people seek help in searches beyond science and reason.
On the other hand, since man is an irrational being, he is sometimes unpredictable. We can witness the wisest of us trying to be happy by doing the craziest things, can't we? Sometimes we are alive but we cannot live life. There are actually many reasons for this! Responsibilities, helplessness, addictions, inadequacies, not being able to be our own, weaknesses, ambitions, greed, not being enough, greed, etc. add to this and life loses its flavor. Even those who have money, power, position and time cannot do it, because they may also have some dilemmas. So everyone is a little incomplete and inadequate.
As I mentioned in an earlier article, I characterize this situation in its simplest form as "the coldness of the metal that replaces human warmth." However, living life to the fullest actually comes before existing. To enjoy life, to have fun, to rest, to linger, to joke around, to be in touch with nature, to make friends with friends, to spend time with loved ones, to go on vacation, to participate in events, to drink coffee, to read books, sometimes to be lazy, to take walks, to take up occupations, to discover new places are all very important and valuable things in terms of living.
If we can't do these things and have learned to just complain, something is missing. If we don't make an effort to change and improve, we are in a difficult situation. Life cannot mold us into the shape it wants us to be. It has no such power. By creating a harmonious inner world, getting to know ourselves and developing our competencies, we can save ourselves from being a victim in the flow of life in this mortal world.
First we have to learn to say no, we have to say enough is enough. Then we can make the changes we want by being strong, flexible, smart and knowledgeable by ensuring internal and external harmony. Wanting is important, but even more important is taking action and having the determination to keep trying until we achieve what we want. Every human being has the power to do this by nature. It is in our nature. Let's not forget that what is possible for someone else can also be possible for us, we can learn. All the difficulties that come our way are important elements that whip us up. In this life, it is more valuable to fight instead of running away. I wish you to remember that the meaning of life is not those who say "I can succeed, but those who say "I will succeed" will add meaning and value to life.
Stay with respectful love
