I guess being chosen is a sufficient condition to be trustworthy! 

By the way, did you know that the name Mustafa means "the chosen one"? I just found out. 

But do you think being elected alone is enough to be trustworthy?

Doctors for example, we don't elect doctors to their positions. But I think almost all of us trust doctors. 

To become a doctor requires a very demanding education. 

Why does a patient listen to a doctor? 

Because he is the doctor. When a person is sick, in order to get better, he trusts the doctor who he is sure will cure him. In a sense, there is no other choice. 

The desire to live is in all of us, it is engraved in our genes, and the only way to survive when we are sick is to listen to that doctor.

For example, my late mother used to do whatever the doctor said. 

Even if I said the same thing fifty times, for some reason she wouldn't listen to me, but when the doctor said the same thing, she would say no, the doctor said so and she would do exactly what the doctor said.

But unfortunately today's doctors are not like the old doctors. When there is no trust in the doctor, even to the point where the society is now beating doctors, do you really think that doctor can heal that patient?

I don't know, today's doctors are actually much better educated than in the past. There have been very good developments in medicine in the last fifty, maybe a hundred years. 

But still, for some reason, trust in doctors is not what it used to be.

Many of them make agreements with some pharmaceutical brands and they take care to write that drug in the prescription. It is as if a relationship of self-interest has entered the profession of medicine.

As everything has deteriorated, I think doctors have also deteriorated in recent years. 

I am not speaking out of turn, of course, I have nothing against doctors who do their job well. 

However, I think you will agree that there is a grain of truth in this statement.

What do you think is an essential condition for you to listen to someone?

I mentioned doctors, and perhaps they have a special place because they perform a very important task for a human being, such as curing a patient.

But with the exception of doctors, under what other conditions do you think a person would listen to another person?

For example, authority, can authority be a factor?

In our profession, the project manager is the most authorized person at construction sites. In a sense, there is a military order on construction sites. 

I think authority is also an important condition for you to be listened to.

Authority creates a certain level, at least in the construction site organization.

There has to be a level difference between workers and engineers on construction sites, otherwise, unfortunately, that worker won't listen to the engineer. 

Either he doesn't believe what the engineer says, he thinks he knows better, or even if he knows what the engineer says is right, he doesn't do the work as the engineer says because he doesn't feel like doing it that way.

However, if he knows that he will get a headache, that is, when he knows that the engineer is an authorized person, he is forced to do the work as requested. 

You will know how to get what he says done on the construction site.

However, in order to get what you say done, the hierarchy must be well established on the construction site. 

Of course, hierarchy is important, but the character of the engineer is also important. An engineer needs to know how to get things done.

In other words, not only authority, not only level, but also the ability to get people to listen to you.

In other words, your personal charisma is also a very important factor on construction sites.

If the order is not established in this way, that is, otherwise, things will not go as planned, and when the plan is not followed, the project manager will have a headache first and foremost.

You will know the job if you want to do business! Or if you want to get work done.

You wanted to say I am one of you, but maybe the voters didn't need one of us!

Maybe you were too mild-mannered to this nation. 

You said let's make amends, you said you were right, you said we made mistakes too! You took it very lightly.

Maybe they said you were a good person. There is no doubt that you are a good person. 

You have enough state experience and people were sure that you would rule the state fairly!

But something was not enough for people.

You said come, no matter who you are! 

You acted like Mevlana. 

Mevlana's perspective on life is perhaps long gone. Maybe the sociology of society has changed.

Moreover, you did this by going against some of the principles that Atatürk's Party had been protecting since the foundation of the republic, and according to some, you did this by throwing the party in different directions.

Those who were devoted to these principles criticized you, maybe some of them resented you and as a result they did not support you enough during the election campaign. Okay, they made mistakes, but I think this was also a factor in the loss of the elections.

You also heard these objections, but you still insisted on doing your own thing. I don't know, maybe you were right in your own way. 

But it didn't work out!

Although many of those who criticized you, still stood up for you and supported you.

But look, it didn't work! All these things were not enough.

You did everything right in your own way, but it still wasn't enough, you didn't succeed, it didn't happen, it couldn't happen!

I know, now we have local elections ahead of us. 

The unity of the Party, maybe even the continuation of the Millet Alliance is very important.

That's why you want to maintain the same unity at least until the local elections. 

For now, you want to change most of the party assembly and let's go to the local elections that way.

Then maybe you will say enough is enough and retreat to your own corner. 

What you have said about this to those around you is already circulating in the whispering newspapers.

In fact, this point of view seems to make sense to many.

But I can't help but ask, are you sure that this is enough? 

Do you think it will be enough for one more time in the local elections?

Remember, whatever you did in the general elections was not enough! 

Because maybe, no matter how positive the campaign was, something was done wrong. A lot of mistakes were made.

Can you guarantee that the same mistakes will not be made this time?

Maybe the nature of the work was wrong? 

Maybe the problem was not only in the mistakes made but in the nature of the whole thing?

No, you may say, general elections are one thing, local elections are another!

But how do you know that the same methods will suffice in local elections?

There is such an ambition in front of you that no lie or deceit makes any difference to him. He attacks with all the power of the state.

And in the end, he somehow succeeds! 

And if we look at the previous local elections, you didn't win the mayorships in many cities in Anatolia. 

Even in big cities, the municipal councils remained in the ruling majority!

In fact, in Turkey as a whole, the opposition votes remained below the government votes!

Mr. Erdoğan said Istanbul as soon as it was clear that he had won the election! 

Whatever his ambition, he immediately started the local election calendar as soon as the results of the second round of elections were provisionally known.

So what are you planning to do against all this possible black propaganda, against all these state opportunities?

Do you have a plan?

Maybe you need to vacate that seat right now and give someone else a chance?

After all, is there no other leader in the party who can make people forget the failure of the general elections and blow a new wind despite the short time left for the local elections?

We are talking about the oldest party of the Republic, if no one can really take the lead under these circumstances, then woe is us!

We started by saying that it is important to be elected.

Yes, with the legitimacy of being elected, in today's constitutional order, Mr. Erdoğan was able to hold on to power again, no matter what the reason. He celebrated this success with a big ceremony.

Moreover, he has completely changed his cabinet (except for two ministers) and continues on his way with the energy of having won.

Now the new cabinet is being discussed on all channels, this minister this, that minister that. 

Mr. Şimşek has taken over the economy as a savior, and it is not known when exactly the 180-degree turnaround in economic management will take place, but it is said to be the collapse of the interest rate cause, inflation effect theory. Now everyone is saying something, there are those who say this, those who say that, those who say blah blah blah.

In my opinion, it's all empty talk, beating water out of a mortar.

The established order continues, it will continue somehow.

Because on the one hand, a nation that has worked for the sultans like slaves for centuries, a nation that has been a servant, a nation that has been a subject, on the other hand, a mentality that does not hesitate to use religion as a tool for its politics, a mentality that injects politics into the army by making the chief of general staff a minister, on the other hand, the taker is satisfied, the giver is satisfied 

And you, with all your good intentions, are trying to stand against this poisonous mentality.

For centuries human beings have deified their kings and bowed down to power. 

This is the nature of human beings, as the level of consciousness has risen, they have been cured of this disease from time to time, but no, knowledge is faulty, as long as there are those who provoke the supreme power holder in power that those who claim to know are opposing God, it is not easy to deal with a human nature that tends to go back to the old ways.

No matter what you say, Mr. Engineer, Mrs. Doctor, your word will be worthless compared to the word of the chosen one.

Because he is the chosen one! 

And people only listen to those they choose. Because they choose who they will listen to. They choose the one they believe in. This is a bit of an egg and chicken story.

First you have to be chosen.

In order to be elected, different qualities are required.

Without solving the secret of this job, I think the opposition's job will be very difficult in the local elections.
