Perceptions Can Be Misleading Sometimes:

I'm in the subway, my eyes are still open, the doors are still open, I thought we were moving suddenly, I was excited about what was going on, it turned out that the cars on the opposite line were moving, it seemed to me that we were leaving even though the doors were still open. That's how it is, sometimes our perceptions mislead us.

It's something we come across all the time in life. We have all experienced similar situations. Some are always wrong. They are prone to error. Such people are sometimes too lazy to seek the truth, and sometimes they like the magic of the image, they get swept away by the magic of the moment. If we look at it from this side, there is really nothing to worry about, isn't the main goal of all of us to be happy in this short life?

Others have made it their profession to mislead perception. With their sleight of hand, image reflections and personal skills, they show us what we want to see, not what is actually happening. I'm talking about wizards. Of course, it takes a long time to do these things. This effort should be respected.

Age of Perceptual Reality:

In fact, it seems that the age has become the age of magicians, perception management is ahead of everything today. We live in the age of perceptual reality, post-truth, beyond reality. We believe in what is seen and shown, we want to believe. I guess we got used to it. What has been done seems normal to most of us, we have taken it for granted.

Some of the famous magicians and illusionists, Harry Houdini, Dynamo, Criss Angel, Aref Ghafouri, David Copperfield, are all masters of show business, even though we know that what they can do is illusion, sometimes we are astonished, and most of the time we can't take our eyes off their shows just because we enjoy watching them.

Even though the demonstrations sometimes contain brutality, we do not think about that brutality at all during the demonstration, our eyes do not see the truth, we focus only on the demonstration with bewitched eyes.

I watched a movie. It was a bit of a mix of fantasy, sci-fi and magic. It's called "Prestige". In one scene of the movie, our hero destroys a caged yellow canary from the cage and pulls it out of his arm from another place. In reality, there are two canaries, and while destroying the cage, it is crushed in the mechanism, while the other looks as if it is in the cage, due to the magic of the show. It's actually real brutality, but real nobody cares.

What is striking is the other show of our hero, the fact that he enters through one of the two distant doors on the stage and exits through the other at that moment. To do this, he had to lead a selfless life, even his wife doesn't know he has a twin. It's a good movie, I recommend it to those who haven't seen it.

To Be Aware, To Notice:

The ending of the movie is very striking, the narrator says, "At the moment you are looking for the secret, but you cannot find it, because you are not looking carefully, you do not want to solve the mystery, but want to be deceived".

I think that's a very accurate point. Many of us have this character. We don't want to be aware. Maybe it is difficult, maybe it is not for us, maybe we are afraid, but we cannot see the truth.

While saying this, I do not separate myself, sometimes I get carried away by what is shown to us. Honestly, I think it's always paying attention to everything, in a way, living life with awareness. But as I said, when you pay attention to everything, the magic of the moment disappears. You cannot feel happiness.

Both situations seem problematic. When you pay too much attention, you realize the injustices done, it all hurts. It is even more painful that nothing can be done to those who are in power, as those who have power in their hands ruthlessly hit them. The fanatical supporters either seek to take advantage of the situation because they are gathered around the power, or they are caught in the situation of acrobats and are unaware of what they are doing.

Those who are aware, on the other hand, are devastated by the gravity of the situation. In order to be happy, it means that you need to find a balance of this.

Conclusion:

First of all, we have to decide within ourselves what we want.

I want a more moral world, a world in which people are more respectful to each other, more just, full of love. I'm tired of people cheating on each other. I'm tired of the fancy words used to deceive people, the lies, and the injustices done just to keep the power, for the sake of ruling the country.

We all have the right to live like human beings, in order to achieve this, it is time to stop watching the magician and realize the fact that canaries are killed in the show. It's time to put a stop to this brutality.
