There used to be a thing called a fax?
Do not be surprised, who knows what kind of a future this rapidly advancing technology will offer us in the future. Who knows what will be discovered and what will be forgotten from what we call some of today's high technologies. Maybe our grandchildren will find our current way of life very funny.
You know, people used to carry something called a mobile phone with them.
This thing called a mobile phone had an energy source called a battery, and the phone was always running out of energy. They used to say, "My mobile phone is out of battery.
Every day they had to refill the battery again and again.
***
You know, in the old days, people used to drive cars. There was a profession called chauffeur.
Some people even had a profession called taxi driving.
***
You know, people used to work in factories!
There was a profession called labourer, I came across it in the archives, how strange.
How can they force people to work! It's savagery!
***
You know, there used to be such a thing as a cinema, people used to go and watch films together.
Some people who had a profession called acting used to act in those films.
Isn't that interesting?
You imitate someone and they film you. Then they show it to everyone in a place called cinema.
What strange things people used to do in the past!
***
We can increase similar topics.
Do not be surprised, who knows what kind of a future this rapidly advancing technology will offer us in the future.
Who knows what will be discovered and what will be forgotten from what we call some of today's high technologies.
Maybe our grandchildren will find our current way of life very funny.

Don't say that it can't be so, our collective memory is really very poor.
I am not just saying this for us Turks. I am saying that our collective memory as humanity is very weak.
Don't we already think the same way as I wrote above on some issues?

Is there such a thing as a telegraph anymore?
Where are the steam trains?
Side-wheel river ships? With smoke billowing from their chimneys? Steam ships!
Maybe there are some museum pieces of spring black trains or steamships in some places.
***
For example, I remember that in Norilsk, on the edge of the airport road, they placed one of the old coal trains on a short piece of track as a monument. We used to see it as we passed by.
***
Some inventions, which who knows who knows who have thought and found throughout their lives, are now only on the dusty shelves of the patent office.
If they exist, maybe their working versions are only in museums.
***
You may say, "Why did you think of such things?
Recently, I came across an old contract text on the computer, I was curious and thought I would read it a little.
It was a text from quite old times.
In one of the articles, it was written that the fax messages to be sent by the parties to each other would be valid as the original.
***
Yes, I remember, once upon a time there really was such a thing as a fax. Fax messages would come to the office all day long.
Then the machine would either run out of paper, or the cartridge with carbon dust would need to be replaced.
Sometimes, if there was a problem with the telephone line, the texts would come out in a jumbled mess.
Moreover, it was in black and white, so if you sent a picture or a colour diagram, the other party would only receive a black and white copy.
***
But the fax revolutionised communication.
It made things a lot easier.
You would first sign the contracts etc. and send them by fax to the other side, where they would sign them and send them back to you.
We would then sign the original contract and send it to each other by courier.
***
I don't know if there are still any businesses that still have fax machines?
For example, I remember that one of the telephone lines was reserved for fax.
In addition to the company address, telephones and fax would be written separately.
On the visit cards we printed, one number was also indicated as fax.
*
This is what came to my mind when I saw the text of that old contract.
***
What will the future look like?
Perhaps communication will develop in such a way that even the current e-mails will be out of the picture.
I think e-mails are already out of date.
We now prefer to use social media programmes when we want to transmit a document. I can say that I usually handle everything I do with WhatsApp.
Now you can send whatever you want instantly and you don't have to worry about whether it has arrived or not.
It would be a problem even if there were a lot of excuses such as spam in e-mails, I didn't see it.
Now you can say if you want to send it and you can send what we want instantly via WhatsApp.
I personally use even e-mails very little now.
If I am going to send a large file, I upload the files to the cloud and send the link, and that's it.
The person I send it to can download it whenever they want.
***
Tomorrow, maybe even these will not be necessary.
We will meet in a digital environment as if we have come together from where we are lying down and we will have virtual meetings and meetings.
Perhaps we will be able to communicate whatever we want by directing it with our minds.
We won't even need to lift a finger.
Maybe we will be able to talk with a telepathy-like method, maybe there will be no need for such mobile phones, especially in the summer months.
***
Perhaps women will not even be obliged to have children.
Our babies and children, who will develop in special vials and tubes, will be produced in special childbirth centres.
Moreover, they may even be programmed according to the characteristics we want them to have.
In short, it is not easy to know what the future holds, but it is certain that it will be very different from today.
***
Do you think we are ready for the future as Turkey?
I know we are not ready, but do you think there is at least a little hope? That is what I am asking.
Can we prepare for such a future?
***
As a matter of fact, the more I see the latest developments in the country, the more I hear the nonsensical news on the channels, the more I learn that people stab, shoot and kill each other for nothing, the less hope I have.
Neither the opposition nor the government, none of them give me any hope for the future.
I hope I am wrong.
My love and respect to everyone from Moscow.
