What is the effect of rain on our lives?

It is raining in Moscow today. However, yesterday there was a beautiful warm weather, I can even say that it was too warm.

Today the skies are crying.

We say mercy, may his mercy be abundant. 

Most of us know mercy as rain. May there be plenty of rain! We pray when it rains.

But mercy in Arabic originally means mercy, sparing, showing compassion. In other words, when we say "May His mercy be abundant", we are not actually talking about rain. We talk about Allah's mercy, in fact, we say may Allah be merciful, may Allah be merciful. 

Mercy also comes from the same root as the mother's womb, and on the other hand, mercy is a word that comes from the same root. Pity, compassion, mercy.

Let's go back to the rain. 

Rain actually means life in a sense.  In the south east they pray for rain. I don't know if it works.

In the hydrology course at university, we once talked about throwing rain bombs to make it rain. Our lecturer said that if there are no clouds, no matter how many bombs you throw, it won't work. He also added that if Allah does not want to give rain, whatever you do will not help. Our hydrology teacher was a person of faith.

That's why I don't know if it can be done with prayer. According to some, Allah makes it rain, while others are still trying to solve the mystery.

There is summer rain, it rains in the hot summer months, and the smell of the earth is different after the summer rain.

But it is not like summer rain in Moscow, a light grey cloud has covered the sky and it seems to last for a long time. When this happens, it rains for a long time.

Although it has calmed down a bit now, maybe it is summer rain. You never know.

It is also nice to get soaked in the summer rain. And if you have a loved one with you, it's a romantic date.

I was caught in the summer rain together once.

There are many songs about rain.

For example, the most famous one is "Singing in the Rain", made famous by Frank Sinatra.

I don't know what happened to that contestant, maybe she made one or two music videos after the contest. 

I don't follow new singers from the music world very much, there are musicians and singers that I follow more myself.

Speaking of rain, they say rain brings abundance. 

This is actually true. 

But as with everything else, too much is harmful of course.

How many times have we planted tomatoes in the dacha, I guess because the weather here is quite rainy, unfortunately the tomatoes either rot or get stained before they turn red. 

So we pick them green and pickle them before they spoil. Pickled green tomatoes are not bad either.

Although the tomatoes we grow in pots at home give tomatoes even if they are samples.

I think we need to make a greenhouse for the ones in the garden. Maybe they will grow normally in the greenhouse.

Anyway, tomatoes are not the subject.

As I said, too much rain is bad, but no rain at all is also unthinkable. Drought is the worst.

I don't know, does rain make forests or forests make rain?

Russia is a country with a lot of forests. 

When I first came here, we built a building for an employer who owned a forestry company. 

At that time, Russians were cutting down forests and selling them. They did not have the technology to prepare and sell forest products with added value, they sold them as logs.

Maybe now they have transferred technology from abroad.

Although the furniture industry is still not developed here. You cannot find natural parquet cheaply.

But there are really a lot of forests here, they could not finish cutting them all these years.

Nevertheless, when you cut it uncontrolled, the mountain will not stand.

In our dacha where my brother-in-law lives, we provide heating in winter by burning wood. We have a solid fuel boiler that burns wood and coal. 

I notice that every year the price of wood increases and the number of people selling wood decreases.

So most probably there is not as much wood from the neighbouring forests as before. 

As I said, there's no such thing as a ready-made mountain!

We will be comfortable if they connect the natural gas, it was supposed to be connected this year, but for some reason there is no sign of it. A natural gas burner can also be installed in the boiler, if natural gas comes, there is also that job to be done.

I actually wanted to have a little chat while looking at the rain outside. By the way, it started raining again slowly.

No, this rain will last a long time this time, it's understood. The sky has turned more and more grey.

I wish rainy days for those who get tired of the heat. 

But not like torrential rain. Let it cool down a little bit, summer rain, it is the kind that comes and goes.

Because we have disturbed the balance of nature, we have suffered from floods in recent years. 

Forest fires on the one hand, sudden rains and floods on the other.
