Although it is the most populated city and capital of the Netherlands, the city where the country's government and parliamentary administration is located is The Hague. While it has a hot and humid climate in summers, winter precipitation is abundant and winds are severely strong. The city seems to have been built on many canals.

It is extremely difficult to travel in the city by car and parking fees are extremely expensive. You may have to pay parking fees in this city, which you would not pay in any other country in Europe, if you can find a place to park. Taxi is not a valid way of transportation in the city and it is almost non-existent.

The city is visited by many tourists; Madame Tussaud in the city center is one of the most important of them. The venue, where the works of many famous people from our country, including Atatürk, are exhibited, is the largest and most comprehensive of its counterparts in Europe.

The big square in the city center is always crowded and preferred by people day and night. It is used extensively, especially by young people. Many artists who perform day and night street performances in the square also create pleasant moments for the audience.

Another thing to do after walking around the city; to visit the city center and its surroundings with a boat tour with very affordable prices. Thanks to the boat tour, you can discover the other atmosphere of the city with the extremely different and beautiful houses that you do not have the chance to see while walking along the canals.

The Red Light Street area, which comes to mind when Amsterdam is mentioned, is in the city center and the security of the employees is provided by the police. It is a general name given to an area adjacent to each other, where the ladies working at its doors wait, with a dim and bright red light from the windows.
