Bishkek is the capital and largest city of Kyrgyzstan. It attracts the attention of tourists with its history and uniquely beautiful nature. The city takes its name from its historical heroes. Statues of Kyrgyz heroes are located in parks and green areas all over the city.

Manas International Airport, which has very modest facilities, serves the arriving passengers through extremely helpful staff. If you don't get an answer to your English speaking at first, speaking Turkish will often work. The number of people who speak Turkish is extremely high, and encountering pure Turkish words will attract your attention.

Your passport processing at the airport takes a very short time as this country does not require a visa for Turkish citizens. If your transfer from the airport to the city center is not planned, you can reach the city center by bus and taxi options at certain times. It takes approximately 40 minutes to reach the city center from the airport. The use of taxis in this city is extremely common and very affordable. There are minibus and electric trolleybus options depending on the route you will go in the city. Rail system facility is not available in this city.

Hotel facilities for accommodation are concentrated in the city center, which is not very large. Pricing is reasonable in luxury-looking hotels as well. Walking around the city is very enjoyable, and it is possible to reach almost everywhere on foot. The city of Bishkek and its surroundings have continental climate characteristics; In order to enjoy more, it would be beneficial to prefer the summer months, taking into account the climatic conditions. Rainfall and low visibility during the winter may also affect you negatively. 2-3 days will be enough to visit this city.

The most important place to visit in the city is the big square called Alo-Too and later called Victoria Square among the people. This square, which dates back to Soviet times, has a very imposing appearance. Such large squares, which were standard in the Soviet era, have also been built in this city. There are such large squares in almost every place that has been under Soviet influence due to the fact that rallies and meetings are held in such areas.

Right in the middle of the area, a big Kyrgyzstan flag and the soldiers standing guard in front of it and the statue of the national folk hero Manas await you in all its splendor. The cafes and shopping stores around the area where the Parliament building is located welcome locals and foreign tourists who come here. In the summer, you can relieve the tiredness of the day by sitting outside in the cafes here and watching the surroundings. Eating and drinking opportunities are extremely wide, and you can feel the predominantly Russian and Chinese influence around you. However, you can try some of the products of our cuisine, such as "ravioli", here. Their cuisine, which is mainly made of pastry, also carries traces of Uzbek and Korean. Prices are extremely reasonable and you can be sure that you will have a trip that will not be expensive for you.

While coming to the area where this area is located, you will see that many small parks and green areas are used by people on the right and left, equipped with trees. Indeed, many green areas are available to people. You will also easily notice the state houses from the Soviet era. These houses, which are generally yellow or gray in color with 3 or 4 floors, all of which are the same, have a very modest appearance.

While you are here, you may regret if you go without visiting the traditional and extremely famous Osh (Osh) market. This market is a big market with indoor and outdoor venues. Clothing, socks, gloves, traditional hats, berets, bags, etc., at the entrance of the market and in the surrounding areas. There are small shops where all kinds of products are sold. Bargaining is also valid here, and you can usually get a maximum discount of around 30%. Your offers to make it cheaper than this will be answered negatively, and they may forego the initial discount. In the middle part of the market, I buy every time I come; walnuts, almonds, raisins, dried apples, etc. You can see places where white and normal honey are sold. If you buy these products, which are sold at very reasonable prices, I can guarantee that you will be satisfied.

Again, the Russian Orthodox church, located in the city center, awaits you with its very beautiful architecture. The interior is not like in Catholic churches, but has an extremely simple design and furnishings, and an appearance that is far from ostentatious. If you want to have fun at night after visiting this place, there are many beautiful places in the city center. Nightlife is very colorful due to the large number of students in the city. Numerous karaoke bars, cinemas and pubs are lined up along the road.
