Capetown is the oldest city in South Africa and the second largest city in size after the capital Johannesburg. The climate of this city, located on the coast of the ocean, is extremely favorable and the humidity is extremely low despite being on the ocean coast. For this reason, Europeans with many opportunities prefer this city to settle or reside for certain periods. It is in a geography with different seasons compared to our country. While it is winter in our country, South Africa is experiencing the summer period. For this reason, especially during the northern hemisphere winter period, a heavy tourist flow from Europe takes place in the region. The world-famous wine production is extremely high quality and abundant, especially since the grape seedlings brought to the region by the Dutch explorers during the colonial period had good results in fertile soils. Along the mountains and valleys to the north of the city, there are numerous grape growing vineyards and wine production/tasting places.

When you look at the region from above, you can see the vineyards at the foot of the mountains, as well as the precious mines dug in time and the mines whose mining activities were stopped. You may also have the opportunity to see the whales that come to this region during certain months of the year. Before you leave the area, you can buy ostrich eggs, which prevent spiders in the rooms, as souvenirs from local vendors at very affordable prices. The city is a place where there is no problem during the day in terms of security. Deserted areas at night can be a nuisance. It should be kept in mind that the visible valuables on you may be attractive to some.
