First of all, the most advantageous and enjoyable method of coming to this region is the rental car option. Although there are not very large airports close to this region, traveling by road is more enjoyable and more flexible due to the weather conditions and various restrictions from time to time. Depending on the city and state where you enter the United States by plane, the journey to this region takes a certain amount of time. During our trip, we entered the country from Washington, the capital city.
At this international airport, which is quite large and has a very effective usage area, transactions are completed with waiting times that are not too long. Flights arriving here from our country currently complete their landing around 18:30-19:00 locally. After customs and other procedures, you can find yourself outside the terminal in about 45 minutes. For this reason, it is important to plan your accommodation in advance. Otherwise, you may have problems searching for and finding a place to stay. If your arrival period coincides with never-ending holidays and special days like ours, you may have less chance of finding a place and you may have to pay higher fees. On the day we visited, in addition to the "Veteran's Day" holiday and events, there was a high density of accommodation due to the school holidays. Since we made our reservation early, we did not have any problems. For this reason, I think it would be extremely useful to make a reservation especially for the first 1-2 days before coming to these places.
You may experience a similar situation for car rental. If your travel date is certain in advance, it is possible to rent the vehicles you desire at very affordable prices with an early reservation for car rental. If you are not going to stay in the centers of big cities, car rental will be a great convenience and actually a necessity for this country. If you make a choice in case of accommodation in the centers of very large metropolises, then you may face really heavy traffic and parking problems. For 1-2 hours of parking, you can pay fees such as 20-30 dollars if you can find a place.
In metropolitan centers, you may have to cover 1-2 km distances in 30-40 minutes. For this reason, transportation and sightseeing to the central regions with the effective metro network from the accommodations to be chosen outside the center will be less tiring. Taxis are also not recommended. You may encounter high fares both because it is not possible to reach a taxi when you need it and because of the traffic. Another different feature is that when you take a taxi with 3-4 people, as in our country, there is an additional charge for those except 1 person. For these and similar reasons, car rental is recommended.
At the exit of the terminal, transportation to your accommodation with all kinds of facilities is within the possibilities. Shuttle vehicles are available for car rental companies and parking areas from the areas indicated by signs. You can get on the vehicles of the company you have booked for this purpose (approximately every 15 minutes) with your luggage and transfer to the area where the car you will rent is located. After completing your transactions here, you can go to the hotel/motel where you will stay with the car you rented. You will pay a fee according to your choice of the insurance packages offered to you during car rental. In addition to the rental fee, a blockage of 200-500 dollars will be requested from your physical credit card, depending on the company. This is done for additional situations such as vehicle status after return, traffic fines, highway fees, etc. This transaction will be refunded to you later. A similar situation will be made in the hotels where you will stay. In addition to the stay money, an amount of around 100-200 dollars is blocked, and if there is no deficiency or damage in the room after check-out, it will be refunded.

It awaits you as a medium-sized industrial city. We preferred to stay in the Tonawanda region, which is quite close to here, because Niagara Falls is about 20-30 minutes away from here. If you stay in the city of Buffalo, you will face serious traffic both coming and going. Since most of the people living in Buffalo commute to work from their homes outside the city center by car, there is serious traffic. Another reason for staying in Tonawanda is to stay in the Tonawanda region and take advantage of both more affordable accommodation and shopping opportunities in the neighborhood.
You can reach the town of Niagara Falls after a 20-30 minute drive from the Tonawanda region accompanied by breathtaking views. When you continue directly from the center, you will find yourself at the Canadian Border with a queue of vehicles. For this reason, you will reach the parking lot just on the left side of the queue through the Niagara Falls State Park sign. You can park your car here by paying 5 dollars per day. If you arrive here around 10-11 in the morning, you can visit this very large area all day and have a pleasant time.
Having a raincoat on you in this region, which is a wonder of nature, will prevent you from getting seriously wet while taking photos next to the waterfalls with large flow rates. In addition to walking around the park, you can learn about the introduction of the park with a free guide (also the driver of the vehicle) with the wagon vehicles that depart every 20 minutes. Since we visited the park in autumn, you can experience every color of nature accompanied by squirrels. You can drink your coffee, have a snack and buy souvenirs in the resting areas. You can enjoy this beautiful environment, which is one of the must-see places in life mentioned from time to time in some newspapers and media channels.
