We were able to turn hope into a method, The Golden Age of Turkish Aviation has begun, The sky is no longer the limit, We must play bigger from now on, How?

We started to reap the fruits of transforming hope into a method as of December 29, 2013, we made our "golden strike" on February 21, 2024, and the rest will follow with acceleration.

Anka 30 December 2020, Hürkuş 29 August 2013, TB2 29 April 2014, Akıncı 6 December 2019, Aksungur 20 March 2019, Kızılelma 14 December 2022, Hürjet 25 April 2023, TB3 27 October 2023, Anka-3 28 December 2023, KAAN 21 February 2024.

We have listed above our flying platforms that have met with the sky in the last 10 years; a helicopter is also an airplane, but we have only included fixed wings in our article. Of course, we should not forget our missiles.

In the early 1900s, we started dreaming of building and flying our own airplanes, and we did so in ten-year periods until the 1950s. After the 1950s, our love for aviation started to atrophy, but with the 1974 embargo, we woke up from our nightmare and started dreaming of building and flying our own aircraft again.

The procurement of the F-16 system gave us a great impetus in this regard. The fact that we were one of the three countries (USA, Turkey, South Korea) that produced (not assembled) this aircraft gave us a very serious infrastructure. We manufactured all the structural components of the F-16, except for the vertical stabilizer, and formed the main fuselage with these components. These processes bring enormous knowledge and experience to those who do them. Subsequent modernizations of the F-4 and F-5, the production of the Atak helicopter in our country, and our knowledge and development of the OFP software of the F-16, F-4 and Atak have also added a lot to our aviation know-how.

We started to reap the fruits of transforming hope into a method as of December 29, 2013, we made our "golden strike" on February 21, 2024, and the rest will follow with acceleration.

So what should we do to become a major player in aviation?

First, we will strengthen our air power as soon as possible, we should not worry about the economic aspect of this for a while, but once we have strengthened our air power, we must ensure that this capability we have gained is cost-effective, and even provide additional money, security and prestige from this capability.

We should share as much of our gains as we see fit with the countries we can share with, and in return, we should definitely get the economic return. Turkic Republics, African countries and some Middle and Far Eastern countries are our serious potential customers.

At the moment, our soft underbelly is "jet engine technology", and we must work on this issue very seriously.

Airplanes, structurally, as well as their engines and avionics, are fundamentally material-based systems. We must focus tactically and strategically on materials science, technology and industry.

We must prioritize the development of our general and special industries (total industry) as the most important tactical and strategic goal.

Truly industrialized societies can build walking, floating and aircraft platforms efficiently and cost-effectively, and they can also derive significant economic benefits from these platforms.

May our aviation never lose altitude.
