Causes and Consequences of Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh Antiterrorist Operation
The so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic", de facto "Artsakh", held the Lachin Corridor, which was left at the mercy of the Russian peacekeepers against the Zangezur Corridor. Pashinyan, the Wise Man, did not go to war with Azerbaijan, did not intervene in Karabakh, reaffirmed his recognition of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and contributed to the liquidation of the entity called "Artsakh".
After a long stay in 'Macedonia', the heirloom of our ancestors, which has now been engulfed in statue and cross fetishism, via Bulgaria, I returned home via Greece. Let me suffice it to say in advance that there are no people left in the Balkan countries, dear readers. Since almost all young people have taken over the service sector of an ageing Europe in need of geriatric care, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Greece are empty. Suffice it to say that the fight against high inflation, which is a worldwide problem, is also a primary problem in the Balkans. Let us also say that the prices of petroleum products in Turkey and Europe, which have subsidised petroleum products in the past years, are almost exactly equalised. For this reason, the petrol stations in Turkey are no longer crowded with "neighbouring vehicles" rushing to buy cheap petrol from Turkey, but in the bazaars and markets, the density of people arriving by bus is noticeable at first glance. Like Turkey, all people are struggling to make ends meet. Everyone is talking about the price of potatoes and onions. Nothing else interests them.
Before explaining Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh Anti-Terrorist Operation, the "Containment Policy", which was tried to be implemented against the Republic of Turkey, has an important place in understanding the events. This policy was put forward as the encirclement of first the Ottoman Empire and then the Republic of Turkey, the continuation of the Ottoman Empire, by artificial nation states. In other words, contrary to popular belief, the "Containment Policy", which is frequently put into action by the West, was not used against Russia and China, but primarily against Turkey, and this after the Berlin Treaty of 1878. This is the justification for the lease of the island of Cyprus in 1878. After the First World War, the White Army, the armed forces of Tsarist Russia, was evacuated from Crimea to Istanbul and the Dardanelles during the armistice period without being lost to the Red Army, but could not be used again against the Red Army. In the Second World War, an allied relationship was established with the Red Army until the beginning of the Cold War. The importance of interests dictates this situation.
It is regrettable to say that the Republic of Turkey, which turned its face towards the West and modernisation with a highly conscious structuring, was surrounded by two artificial nation-states from both east and west. In fact, the "Containment Policy" is the name given to the doctrine and doctrine that the US has been following and shaping since the early years of the Cold War, aiming to limit the growing influence of the USSR after World War II. The doctrine, the intellectual foundations of which were laid by US diplomat George S. Kennan in 1946 with the 'Long Telegram' sent from Moscow to Washington, was based on the idea that the collapse of communist governments would be inevitable if their expansionist tendencies were stopped. According to Kennan, Russian expansionist tendencies could be thwarted through a "long term, patient, but determined and vigilant containment". The first concrete example of his policy was the Truman Doctrine announced on 12 March 1947, which continued to shape US global policies throughout the Cold War.
However, this 'containment policy' was first tried in the Ottoman Empire and then continued in the Republic of Turkey. Two of the six artificial nation states, "Kurdistan in Four Parts" in the South and the "Alawite State" (Devle Alawiyyun) in Latakia-Hatay and the Aleppo State (Devle Halebiyye) in the Eastern Mediterranean, together with Israel, which the French tried to create in the Syrian-Palestinian geography, were tried to be encircled continuously with Cyprus. The other three artificial nation states of the French are the Damascus State, the Druze State and the Maronite State. Let us not forget that the philosophical basis of the State of Israel, "Semitism", was shaped by Napoleon Bonaparte and put into action during the Siege of Aqqa.
Yes, dear readers, let no one have any doubts, the 'Containment Policy' as a social engineering project was directly inherited from the Ottoman Empire to its successor, the Republic of Turkey. The first of these artificial Christian nation states is Greece in the west and Armenia in the east. And the third one, let no one have any doubts, is the 'Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus (GKRK)'. All of them have been motivated and used against Turkey. Artificial nation state means building a state that is motivated by the West to serve the interests of the expansionist West without building a nation. However, nation states are the founding elements and players of the international system. With the end of the age of empires, successive revolutions, the French Revolution and the Industrial Revolution, brought about a new state organisation. Thus, the formation and development of social and political life has been shaped through nation states and the philosophical background of this formation has been filled with nationalist ideology. This new form of state, which was shaped by nationalist discourse, brought with it the state of being a nation and the construction of people suitable for this nation. (1)
You cannot build a nation-state without building a nation. What about the construction of Greece and Armenia? Both Greece and Armenia started the construction of the state without building a "nation" by forcibly displacing the people living in other places. The other, in other words, the mortar of resistance and integration, in other words the enemy, was shown as the Turkish nation. This is clearly the reason, the justified reasons for the Turkish Encirclement. This is the general framework.
Do you know what my first observation was after entering the country? I was really shaken by the parody of the scapegoating of the Armenian Prime Minister, journalist Nikol Pashinyan, by the famous "Mental Nerves" perched on the "media towers" of the Vizontela, that is, the screen. I first set out to watch this parody. Public opinion was being misled. The wise friends who heard that I had entered Turkey invited me to their channels one by one, we exchanged greetings, and tried to explain what should be done. When viewed with common sense, Nikol Pashinyan, born in 1975, used the fourth power very well with his journalist identity, and in a way, he has written his name in the bloodless and nonviolent 'Velvet Revolution' of Armenia, the smallest country in the South Caucasus.
He was able to come to power, albeit late, by calling for the 'removal of the corrupt government' without leaving the crowd in front of the crowd with his camouflage outfit, hat, backpack and megaphone in his hand, but he could not become an able government. The man, who day by day further destroyed the Soviet-era mafia system in Armenia, laboured and struggled to consolidate his position. He was well acquainted with the four focal points of tutelage in Yerevan, which were like the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the "Swords of Damocles" over democracy. The first one was the Echmiadzin Church, the second one was the Armenians abroad (Diaspora), the third one was the mafia system left over from the Soviet era and the fourth one was the fanatic Armenians of Nagorni Karabagh (Nogorni Karabagh) who were behind all kinds of misfortunes in neighbouring countries, especially in Turkey. The angry Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh, who were also the perpetrators of the 1915 events, could not accept the fact that Karabakh had been annexed to the Azerbaijani territory to which it belonged, and were burning with the dream of taking back these lands. The so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic", which they called de facto "Artsakh", was holding the Lachin Corridor, which was left at the mercy of the Russian Peacekeeping Force, against the Zangezur Corridor. Pashinyan, the Wise Man, did not go to war with Azerbaijan, did not intervene in Karabakh, reaffirmed his recognition of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and contributed to the liquidation of the entity called "Artsakh".
This is as important as the Zangezur Corridor, the first step of Turkey's embrace with Turkestan. Every part of Nagorno-Karabakh must be penetrated and this boil-headed nest of evil must be cleaned. Pashinyan attended Erdoğan's "Inauguration Ceremony" with 21 heads of state and 13 prime ministers, as well as many ministers and representatives of international organisations, including NATO, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Organisation of Turkic States, who also coordinated this anti-terrorist operation. Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan may have used this meeting for the coordination of the operation to liquidate the artificial satellite state of Artsakh. This is exactly the kind of environment Pashinyan is looking for. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Emir of Qatar Al Thani, heads of state of Somalia, Algeria and Balkan countries were among the leaders attending the ceremony. However, it must be regretted that Pashinyan was seated behind Aliyev at Erdoğan's "Inauguration Ceremony" and his name was not even announced. In this case, it is necessary to say that the protocol has caused Pashinyan to experience an undignified act of disrespect.
According to Pashinyan, the Republic of Armenia, the "Orphan of Orphans", had to be strengthened. The people believed in him and did not leave him alone in his fight for democracy. So much so that even after 44 days of war, Pashinyan's "Civil Contract Party" won 53.92 per cent of the votes. Pashinyan was able to look at the events through realistic glasses. He has also internalised the following fact. Armenia`s economy is about 8 times smaller than Azerbaijan`s, moreover, it is not based on very solid foundations. Value-added production in Armenia is not very bright and the political environment is complicated. Above all, Russia has lost sight of Armenia, and all indications are that Russia has lost sight of Armenia. So much so that Russia and Armenia have gone as far as accusing each other of treason. Pashinyan's statement to the famous Politico newspaper also reflects the situation:(1)
"Given Russia's capabilities and performance in Ukraine, Armenia can no longer rely on Russia as the guarantor of its security! Our new strategy as Armenia should be to reduce our dependence on others as much as possible. We want to have an independent and sovereign country."
Following this poisonous statement, Pashinyan conducted a joint exercise with the USA in his country and invited the USA and some Western countries to the region. He even threatened to arrest Putin by announcing that he would become a member of the International Criminal Court Satellite. The sending of aid supplies to Ukraine after his wife Anna Hapokyan's visit to Ukraine angered Putin (1) Is that all? In Moscow, the Kremlin and the State Duma, the upper house of the "State Duma of the Council of the Russian Federation" have also responded. Sergey Markov, a Russian politician and political expert, presented the reflections and confessions in Moscow as follows: (2)
"If Armenia continues to be hostile to Russia, it will first be expelled from the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO). Then it will lose the Zangezur region. Zangezur is historically Azerbaijani territory. This region was taken from Azerbaijan and transferred to Armenia. It may return to Azerbaijan again."
This view was voiced even further in the Duma. For example, Russian State Duma deputy Yevgeny Federov: (3)
"Armenia will no longer remain an independent state. We will regain control over Armenia and it will become a part of Russia."
It should be noted that both politicians reveal the road map that can be implemented against Armenia in the South Caucasus with all its nakedness.
Yes, dear readers, after Balkanising Ukraine, the 1500-year-old Turkish Homeland has put forward its own synergy against Biden's move, which wants to Ukrainianise the South Caucasus through Armenia, and the western-backed genocidal Armenian terrorists in Nagorno-Karabakh have been taught a lesson they will never forget by Azerbaijan.
For this reason, I set out to explain the reasons for Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh Antiterrorist Operation and the realities of the Karabakh phenomenon on the television channels I was called. As it is known, without question, "Karabakh is the 1500-year-old Turkish Homeland." It means "the vineyard-garden in the North" in Turkish.
Because Turks have taught all the nations of the world the colourfulness of directions. The black of the Black Sea is the north, the red of the Red Sea is the south, the yellow of Sarıkamış is the east, the white of the Mediterranean is the west and the green of Yeşilırmak is the centre. Since the 6th century, Khazars, Seljuks, Ildenizids, Ilkhanids, Karakoyunlu, Timurids, Akkoyunlu, Safavids, Avsars, Qajars and Azerbaijani Turks have dominated Karabakh. Until the Russians settled Armenians in the region in the 19th century, there were almost no Armenians in Karabakh and the region was completely Turkish. Armenian Soviet politician Anastas Mikoyan, in his report to Lenin dated 20 May 1920, stated that Armenians had no ties with Karabakh and that it should not be separated from Baku. On 24 July 1923, the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region was declared. The region, which was created under the administration of Azerbaijan, included Javanshir, Shusha, Jabrail, Zangezur and part of Kubatli.
The activities of Armenians, backed by Soviet Russia, towards Karabakh gradually increased towards the end of the 1970s. Azerbaijan, on the other hand, declared that Karabakh was an integral part of Azerbaijan. In the last months of 1987, Azerbaijani Turks living in Karabakh were forced to migrate by Armenians. On 21 February 1988, Armenia declared that Karabakh belonged to Armenia and from 24 February onwards, the Turks in this region were put under pressure. In June of the same year, the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic demanded Nagorno-Karabakh from the Supreme Soviet of Azerbaijan, but the offer was rejected. Moreover, this proposal was not accepted by Moscow. Thereupon, the Armenians living in the region started to take control of the region in 1989 by blocking the transport with Karabakh and laying mines on the roads. In 1990, when the Azerbaijan Popular Front established the National Defence Committee, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet reaffirmed that Karabakh belonged to Azerbaijan.
However, after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1992, Armenians, supported by the Russians, carried out massacres in Shusha, Khojaly and other places, cleansed them of Azerbaijani Turks and seized them. Most of the Azerbaijani Turks living in and around Karabakh became refugees and thousands of Turks were brutally killed by Armenians. Between 27 September and 10 November 2020, our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters liberated a significant part of Karabakh and other Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenians by showing great heroism in the "44 Days of Homeland Battles" supported by Turkey. (5) In the last few months, the known Armenian armed gangs have continued to systematically fire on the positions of the Azerbaijani army and lay mines on the lands, increasing the tension and almost preparing the ground for Azerbaijan to intervene. Despite the demands from Azerbaijan to dissolve the so-called regime, the holding of "presidential elections" on 9 September 2023 in the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic", which they call "de facto "Artsakh", almost defiantly raised the tension even more.
Although these are the facts written in history, on the other hand, I must say that there are plenty of 'Mental Nerves' in our country who have never understood the event and do not know the region. Let's suffice it to say that they not only tell the chain of events that human minds cannot comprehend, but also expect everyone to believe them. You have witnessed the arguments and claims they put forward. Those who have turned Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh anti-terrorist operation into an Azerbaijan-Armenia war? Those who put Azerbaijan-Turkey integration against Armenia-Iran? Even those who put it into World War III? Whatever you want, there is plenty of it. But those who attacked Pashinyan and those who honoured him are at the forefront. Thinking that they had come to the forefront, they were blowing and blowing, and they were counting Pashinyan more and more. For a moment, I even had the impression that Nagorno-Karabakh was visible from the top floor of the media towers. Even if you do your duty to warn about the great mistakes, they are not worth much. So how long did this situation last? When the dust settled, Mr President Erdoğan put the final point, and he did it very well. The calibre of the mental nerves was revealed. After his 13th speech at the 78th United Nations General Assembly, Mr Erdoğan had to draw the attention of journalists at the Turkevi and put it as follows: (6)
"This latest incident (Karabakh operation) is not related to (Armenian Prime Minister) Pashinyan, nor to the Armenian state. This is an issue related to the marauding Armenian team in Karabakh. Warnings were made, but despite all these warnings, they did not get their act together, and Azerbaijan took its steps. Our Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler held talks and today I held talks with Ilham (Aliyev). 'We have finished the job now. There is no problem,' he said, and we put the point."
Yes, dear readers, in Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh Antiterrorist Operation, which started on 19 September 2023 and ended in 25 hours, the Azerbaijani army was successful, cleared the Armenian terrorist elements in Nagorno-Karabakh, entered Khojaly 31.5 years later, where 613 Turks, including 106 women and 83 children, were subjected to genocide on 26 February 1992, and cleared a historical shame that the Minsk group has ignored for years. (7)
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence has also published images of the following military ammunition captured by the Azerbaijani army in an anti-terrorist operation (8)
"4 tanks, 1 infantry armoured vehicle, 3 Zastava-mounted armoured vehicles, 2 cannons, 12 howitzers, 12 mortars, 468 mines, 956 mortar loading vehicles, 441 mortar shells, 22 grenade launchers, 46 grenade launcher shells, 313 firearms, 66,242 rounds, 50 missiles, 300 detonators, 62 grenades, 3 Fagot anti-tank, 28 anti-aircraft, 1 ammunition supply vehicle, 1 TOR M2 anti-aircraft."
Let us also underline this fact. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has contributed to the success of the anti-terrorist operation, albeit to a lesser extent. The operation is a counter-insurgency operation involving (plan / action) against guerrilla and underground organisations. Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh counter-terrorism operation was a "counter-terrorism operation" aimed at "restoring constitutional order" in Azerbaijani territory. The aim is to disarm the Armenian gangs in Nagorno-Karabakh, which Armenians call Artsakh, to put an end to the 'de facto' rule and to establish Azerbaijan's sovereignty in the region. This is because the so-called regime in the Nagorno-Karabakh region has recently engaged in a series of provocations, such as digging trenches and various fortification activities and sabotage attempts, in order to get closer to the positions of the Azerbaijani army and consolidate their own positions.
It should be regretted that the EU(D) is trying to surround both Azerbaijan and Turkey with such illegal structures. The political goal is to disarm the Nagorno-Karabakh illegal organisation and to dissolve the Armenian illegal administration there, just like the liquidation of the Syrian PeKaKaKa. An important step has been taken in this regard.
It can be easily said that only Iran remains as an obstacle in the region in front of the embrace of Turkestan with the articulation of Turkey and Azerbaijan. The codes of Iran's desire to position itself as a centre in terms of geopolitical, geocultural and geoeconomic relations are closely related to the historical reflection of the idea of the Persian Empire in the mental codes of Iranian decision makers. In this sense, Tehran, while trying to become the epicentre of the Shiite World through Shiite geopolitics, is also trying to take an active role in the Belt and Road project by bypassing Turkey. Just like the unforgettable aphorism "What happened Pashinyan" of the First Karabakh War, what should be said now should be "What happened Tehran", dear readers.
