Warnings for Celebrities Volunteering to Go to Gaza and Fight Against Israel

If they go to Gaza, they have no idea that they will be shot on the first day or die of fear. Going to war is not like going on a picnic. It's not like chatting with a few people in a studio. I think they should just do what they know how to do. But they should do it properly.

From time to time, you may have heard certain individuals shouting ‘Army to Palestine!’ on television or in YouTube videos. I do not take these individuals seriously, as they are eager to send the nation's children to war zones while they themselves will not go.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would take these people seriously, who are eager to send the nation's children to their deaths because they don't value the lives of others' children as much as their own or their own children's lives. However, there are some people you can't help but pay attention to. These are completely opportunistic people.

Whenever they see a camera, they keep saying, ‘If the government allows it, I will go to Gaza immediately.’ In some videos, when they are told, ‘We are government officials. Since you are volunteers, let us record you and send you immediately,’ these opportunists immediately back down.

This phenomenon is not limited to ignorant people who feel the need to say something to every camera they see. For example, a famous TV presenter recently made a similar statement. He must have heard some politicians saying the same thing, so he's trying to keep up with the fake heroism. But this guy was a mercenary in Turkey. He didn't even go to war for his own country, but he's going to go to war for someone else's!

He's not actually going anywhere.

If he really wanted to go, he would have gone.

Is there anyone stopping him?

This person isn't, but some of those who speak like this may actually be sincere. They probably don't know what war is like. If they were to go to Gaza, they wouldn't know that they would be shot on the first day or die of fear. Going to war isn't like going on a picnic. It's not like chatting with a few people in a studio. I think they should just do what they know how to do. But they should do it properly.

These kinds of charlatans aren't the only ones. There are also the sect and community mouthpieces. They say things like, ‘We are praying for our soldiers. Such-and-such a battle was won by our prayers.’ Sometimes they convince soldiers of the sanctity of death and encourage them to go to the front. If you ask them, ‘Why aren't you fighting and just cheering us on?’ they respond with lies like, ‘If they let us, we'll go. We'll be the first ones there.’

But we shouldn't lump everyone together. Maybe if some of them were given the opportunity, they would actually go. But I don't know if they would be of any use. Because military service, and especially war, requires very special training. Not just physical and mental training, but also spiritual/psychological preparation. Without these, no one can fight. Because at the sound of the first bullet, their knees will give way.

I have seen many examples of this. But here, I want to mention another example related to this topic.

This incident is recounted in the book ‘Başımıza Gelenler’ (What Happened to Us) by Mehmet Arif Bey, which describes the battles on the Caucasian Front during the 1877-78 Ottoman-Russian War. It was told to him by Ahmet Celal Efendi, a rifle battalion commander. Major Ahmet Celal Efendi's battalion was stationed in Kars, far from the front.

They were to proceed to the front and participate in the battles according to the upcoming orders. One of the religious scholars of Kars had developed a close relationship with Ahmet Celal Efendi and began visiting him almost every day. This scholar would deliver sermons to the officers of the regiment during each visit, encouraging them to show perseverance and courage in battle. He would also insist on being taken along when they went to the front.

Finally, on 18 August 1877, the regiment received orders to approach the front and participate in the battles in the designated area. Ahmet Celal Efendi set off with the regiment, taking the scholar with him. As the troops advanced towards the front, the scholar continued to encourage the soldiers alongside Major Ahmet Celal Efendi.

He kept talking to the soldiers along the way, saying, ‘Come on, my lambs, march on, my brothers in faith. The gates of paradise are open. The houris are waiting for you. The souls of the martyrs will come out to greet you. The angels are lined up to welcome you!’ After walking a little further, Russian rifle bullets whizzed over their heads and cannonballs began to fall and explode nearby.

The major opened up the battalion and formed it into battle order. The battalion continued to advance towards the front line in this formation. The major, unable to hear the teacher's voice, looked around him with concern.

What did he see? The teacher's voice was hoarse, he was gasping for breath, and his feet were slowly moving backwards, leaving him far behind. The battalion commander approached the teacher and called out, "Teacher, teacher! Look, the Russian uncle you were wondering about is right in front of us. He has lined up 200 cannons at the gates of heaven.

Please come forward.‘ But the teacher did not respond. As he approached a little closer, he saw that the teacher's lips were dry from fear and felt sorry for him. He sent him back to a safe place and told him to watch the battle from there. After that, they never heard the teacher say, ’The gates of heaven are open," again.

Let me warn our travellers to Gaza. In Gaza, there are not only cannons at the gates of paradise. There are also tanks and missiles. From above, planes and helicopters accompany the journey to paradise. Be warned. Moreover, in Gaza, there is no place to stay behind or escape.
