What is the Great Test of Humanity in Palestine?

After 17 years of siege and 17 days of passive resistance to genocide in the Gaza Strip, the trucks that entered the Gaza Strip, instead of the materials that enable human beings to live, only "Grim Reaper bags" without collars for men and women came out.

Actually, shouldn't we ask the question as follows? In an area of 360 km2, where a little over 2 million people live, what does humanity do other than calling for restraint to the genocide in the Gaza strip, where so much intense pain is experienced at the same time under the sea and land blockade, without water, electricity, medicine and anaesthesia? Or what can it do? In my opinion, you can say that humanity, if there is any humanity left, avoids getting involved in it. What I mean is, we are like the beautiful people of my country who film a man beating his wife or girlfriend in the street. No intervention, free to lament the virtual image. What I want to say is clear, humanity is going through a great test in Palestine. However, let's say the result right away, dear readers, as humanity, we all failed and failed.

To make a long story short, according to the data of the Palestinian Ministry of Health on 24 October 2023, the number of casualties in the Gaza Strip, where the health system completely collapsed, increased to 5,791 and 16,297 people, including 2,360 children, were injured. Palestinian Ministry of Health Spokesperson Dr. Sharaf al-Qudra stated that they received reports that 1,550 people, including 870 children, were under the rubble and that 65 health workers in Gaza lost their lives, 25 ambulances were damaged and 12 hospitals and 32 health centres were out of service as a whole. (1) Churches, mosques, hospitals and, perhaps for the first time, bakeries were and are affected by the bombing. The death toll of innocent people in the Al Ahli Babtist hospital alone in Gaza has risen to 471. According to Al Jazeera television channel, when the casualties in the Gaza Strip are evaluated as a whole, 976 of the dead are women and 1,756 are children. 13,561 people were injured.

According to Al-Quahera al-Ikhbariya TV channel, despite the opening of the Rafah border aid station on the Egyptian border of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Air Force continued to bombard the Rafah crossing. How can this be explained? According to the TV channel, the majority of the materials in 20 trucks, which have been applying to the UN for days to deliver humanitarian aid to those living in the Palestinian territories, are women's and men's shrouds. After 17 years of siege and 17 days of passive resistance to genocide in the Gaza Strip, the trucks that entered the Gaza Strip, instead of the materials that enable human beings to live, only "Grim Reaper bags" without collars for men and women came out.

Another situation to be underlined is that it is accepted by many observers that the myth of Israel's invincibility has been thrown into the dustbin of history with the epic 7 October 2023 offensive of HAMAS. At the time of writing, the war between HAMAS and Israel risks turning into a regional war.  On the other hand, the world public opinion is faced with a new Elm Street Murders situation with two provocative troublemakers, Israel and the United States. Even the deaf sultan in Egypt knows that Israel is provoking Hezbollah and the US is provoking Iran.  The image that these two arrogant states give to the world public opinion is that the conflict is largely a proxy war and that Iran's radical regime is trying to reshape the Middle East order in its favour. The arguments of this thesis are cleverly constructed. The fiction is as follows. The Ahund (fundamentalist Velayat-e Faqih) regime in Tehran faces three concentric circles of crisis.

The first is local, stemming from the persistent nationwide protests that have shaken the Islamic Republic since the killing of Kurdish-Iranian activist Mahsa Amini in police custody in September 2022.

These protests, which continue despite the regime's repeated crackdowns, are the most profound challenge to the legitimacy of Iran's clerics since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

The second is regional and has emerged due to Iran's increasing marginalisation amid new Israeli-Arab political and economic contacts. This wave of normalisation, which began with the signing of the Ibrahim Agreement in September 2020, has fundamentally changed the face of the Middle East in the last three years.

The third is international and is a product of the regime's increasingly mature nuclear programme.  Since the revelation of Iran's clandestine nuclear efforts nearly two decades ago, the international community has sought to make the Islamic Republic's nuclear bomb-making process as complex as possible.  The result has been an expanding series of economic sanctions that have profoundly affected the country's financial health and prosperity over the years. All this is nothing but an attempt by Israel to put Hezbollah next to HAMAS and by the USA to put Iran against the Arab world in a process leading to genocide.

In fact, what was expected on this ground where the humanitarian environment was over was that Palestine could first unite with the synergy of the Aqsa Flood Operation. But it did not happen. To say with a heavy heart, Palestinian unity and integration has been left for another spring.  Palestine is once again left as two satellite states. On the one hand, "FETHISTAN" (Fatehland) in the West Bank and "HAMASISTAN" (Hamasland) in the Gaza Bank. But "FETHISTAN" (Fatehland), consisting of 17 organisations with unclear borders, with a qualified head of a nation with Mahmoud Abbas to obey, or an unqualified nation to take instructions from.

What is lacking in Hamasistan at the moment is the lack of "Understanding of the Establishment of an International Presence", as is clearly being experienced. It is a situation where the law of the jungle prevails as if escaping from the international presence. However, the Republic of Turkey is making extraordinary efforts, especially Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, in order to restore the international presence that disappeared in the Hamas-Israel war. This situation dictates a situation that goes beyond the understanding of mediation and guarantorship. It may be recalled that a similar situation was demonstrated when Turkey assumed the role of international observer after the transfer of Hebron in the West Bank to the Palestinian National Authority. Turkey made great efforts then as now, and the establishment of a presence by itself, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, Sweden, Switzerland and Norway was signed in Oslo on 30 January 1997 and approved by the Decree of the Council of Ministers dated 4/2/1997 and numbered 97/9075. It has been decided that Turkey will send military personnel to Hebron (Hebron) to serve within the framework of the rules and purposes specified in the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of a Temporary International Presence in Hebron" and the "Letter to be delivered to Israel and the Palestinian National Authority". In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, the duration of the mission was agreed to be three months. It was decided at the 59th session of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on 20 February 1997, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution, to authorise the government of the Republic of Turkey to extend the period of three months in case Israel and the Palestinian National Authority do not agree on a different period, which is legal. Turkey has done everything in its power in this regard with a great depth of thought and in a way that will be enshrined in history, it has accumulated knowledge.

After all this, I would like to say that MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli made a historic speech on 21 October 2023. As Bahçeli emphasised, "If a ceasefire cannot be reached within 24 hours, Turkey must step in swiftly. It is the legacy of our ancestors to undertake the mission of protecting and caring for Gaza", dear readers. The "Decision on the Authorisation of the Government to Send Military Personnel to Hebron (Hebron) by Turkey, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution," taken by the government of the late Prime Minister Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan, who enlightened us with great devotion and effort, enlightens our path.
