When Will Town Sheriff Biden Stop Butcher Netanyahu?
Innocent men, women and children were mutilated and burnt alive in Rafah, witness the images and ask yourself, are you on the right side of history?
Israel-Palestine (Hamas) War Continues for 8 Months
The Israeli army has lost its edge. Netanyahu's soldiers are no different from militants and terrorists. For this, it is enough to look at Israel's operations to wipe innocent Gazans and Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip off the map since 8 October 2023. Not two days ago, on Sunday, Israel launched a brutal, disproportionate attack in Rafah. It rained bombs on a settlement inhabited by Palestinians who had travelled from the north of Gaza to the south, to the Rafah area, most of them trying to survive in tents. Some 50 Palestinians were killed in this attack. Many of them were women and children.
Netanyahu, the Butcher of Gaza, called the attack on Rafah, in which dozens of civilians were burned to death, a ‘tragic mistake’. Israel claimed that two senior Hamas members were targeted in the attack. Slaughtering 48 innocent Palestinians to kill two Hamas members. This is Israel's idea of war. It does not care about side effects. Everyone can be a target for Israel. I look forward to seeing the butcher Netanyahu and his stooge Galant, who have no sense of right, law or humanity, put on trial one day.
There is no doubt that the American-backed Israeli attacks on the unarmed and distraught Palestinians have only one purpose. To get them to flee the Gaza Strip. The butcher has one goal. To clean up the Gaza Strip, to ethnically cleanse it. Then it will be the turn of the Palestinians in the West Bank. Maybe Abbas will go the other way until it is their turn, but this war of ‘ethnic cleansing’ will not end with the Gaza Strip. There is no one left who does not see this trend.
Yesterday there was a promising development. Norway, Spain and Ireland, which recognised the State of Palestine, gave morale to the Palestinians and increased their hopes for the future. The EU also announced its condemnation of the Israeli air raid on refugee tents in Rafah, which killed at least 45 Palestinians, including many children. I consider it important, albeit symbolically, that Europeans do not sympathise with this ethnic cleansing, despite the US's open support for the butcher Netanyahu. Some of us may consider this European outburst as ‘crocodile tears’. In a way, this is true, but to a large extent, the countries of the global south are voicing out against Israel's atrocities. Nowadays, the global northern countries have also started to wake up to some extent and remember that they have a conscience.
South Africa should be applauded
In this respect, I find the UN's highest court's ‘order’ to Israel to halt its operations in Rafah, Gaza, on the grounds that it poses an ‘immediate risk’ to the Palestinians, to be significant as an institutional stance and attitude, even though it has not yet been fulfilled. The Republic of South Africa, a country belonging to the global south, made this possible. It should be applauded.
The African National Congress, which is in power in South Africa, sees Israel as an apartheid regime that is engaged in ethnic cleansing similar to what they once experienced. Therefore, they see it as a conscientious responsibility and a mission imposed on them by history to stand with the Palestinians. With this in mind, they act with a political understanding that supports the Palestinians' right to self-determination. As a matter of fact, on 29 December 2023, South Africa had the ‘courage’ to file a lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague for alleged genocide of the Palestinian people. It did what no Muslim-majority country, including Turkey, had done or could do. South Africa filed this case against Israel at the ICJ under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, also known as the Genocide Convention, to which both states are parties. In other words, South Africa, together with other like-minded states, referred the situation in Gaza to the ICJ, which was established by the United Nations (UN) Charter in 1945, to investigate. The process is ongoing.
Last week, the International Criminal Court also indicted Butcher Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Galant for war crimes on legal grounds. I listened to the ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan (Karim Khan). On 20 May, he delivered his fearless, confident speech denouncing Netanyahu the Butcher. He said that Netanyahu and Galant, as the head of the State of Israel within the borders of the ‘State of Palestine’, had violated international law and that this was a criminal offence for the ICC and that action would be taken. The ICC's decision means that Biden and Blinken, who support Israel at all costs, have also committed war crimes. This is not said by me, but by American Professor John J. Mearsheimer, a respected scholar in the field of international relations.
The New World Order declared by the USA in 1992 is collapsing because of Israel
In 1992, with the collapse of the Soviet Union, Father Bush announced with great confidence that from now on we are building a new world order. This has two main pillars. The first is to make the free market economy valid all over the world. The second is to prevent human rights violations. In a way, both of these are acceptable for the free world. We cannot have any objection. However, no one can ignore the fact that Washington, which uses human rights violations, even Ankara, as an imposition in its general foreign policy and gives the appearance of bringing countries into line with economic sanctions, is silent in the face of Tel Aviv, which commits these violations at the highest level, shamelessly, unscrupulously and recklessly.
The fact that the 6-million-strong American Jewish community dominates the global capital instruments should not ‘silence’ the consciences of the American society, because Biden, the town sheriff, is also responsible for this massacre, which is a disgrace to humanity, carried out in the State of Palestine, rather than the butcher Netanyahu.
Even the conscience of the Western society has begun to bleed
For this reason, the whole world is wondering what would happen if the ICC made such a decision, after all, the US is behind Israel. Under these circumstances, you may ask, will Israel listen to anyone? You are right, but some stones have started to move. For example, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday, ‘There is no safe space for Palestinian civilians in Rafah, these operations must stop... I call for full respect for international law and an immediate ceasefire.’
Hamza Yusuf, former First Minister of Scotland, wrote on X: ‘Innocent men, women and children dismembered and burnt alive, witness the images and ask yourself, are you on the right side of history?’ Yes, we really need to ask ourselves if we are on the right side of history.
Within the borders of the State of Palestine, Israeli warplanes dropped bombs from the air on a tent city inhabited by tens of thousands of people who had to live in refugee camps in their own country. These air strikes come at a time when the West's military, diplomatic and moral support for Israel's offensive in Gaza is increasingly being questioned. In the eight months since 8 October, at least 35,000 to 40,000 Palestinians have been and are being brutally killed by Israel, supposedly in the name of fighting Hamas. According to UN data, 85 per cent of Gaza's population has been forced to flee their homes in the last eight months, leading to severe shortages of food, clean water and medicine. A human tragedy is unfolding before our very eyes. This is not a film, this is reality.
Although Western leaders are increasingly pushing for a ceasefire, calling for an uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid to the besieged area and warning Israel against a possible ground attack on Rafah, all this is not enough. Italy's Defence Minister Guido Crosetto told Sky TG24 that Israel's war ‘can no longer be justified and that all states agree that Israel must stop in Rafah’.
Even Germany, one of Israel's staunchest supporters and a major exporter of arms to the country, has changed its rhetoric, with Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck criticising Israel for the first time last Saturday for its ‘disproportionate approach in the Gaza Strip’. Habeck said that Israel's actions were ‘incompatible with international law. Indeed, Israel has crossed the line there and must not do so.’ This is a big step for Germany and it is significant.
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares, also on Monday, announced that he would seek the official support of the other 26 EU member states for the judgement of the International Court of Justice and take steps to ensure that Israel respects the Court's rulings. ‘If Israel continues to act contrary to this opinion of the court, we will seek to take the right measures to implement this judgement,’ Albares told a press conference in Brussels with his Norwegian and Irish counterparts. Albares added that this time ‘the weight is even greater’ because the ICJ's judgements are ‘binding and obligatory for all parties’.
Israel's top military prosecutor, Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, described the air strikes as ‘very grave’ and said an investigation was being conducted by the armed forces.
Conclusion
The ongoing Hamas (Palestinian)-Israel War began on 7 October 2023 with a large-scale attack on Israeli territory (Operation Aqsa Flood) by the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the paramilitary organisation Hamas. Then, under the pretext of destroying Hamas militants, the Israeli army has been bombing every Palestinian in the Gaza Strip for 8 months, cutting their bread and water. It is massacring people brutally. In fact, it is forcing unarmed people out of their homes with state terrorism, annexing Gaza to its territory for the sake of establishing ‘Greater Israel’, forcing the people here to exile to Egypt and/or Jordan and, if possible, to migrate to Turkey. Gaza's population is becoming thinner and thinner, and those who can find a way to get out are migrating to other countries. The narrow coastline cannot provide a safe harbour for these people.
Israel carries out its attacks with the active support of the US, Britain and Germany. Butcher Netanyahu is coddled by the Sheriff of the Town, US President Biden and his entourage. Israel is currently facing genocide allegations at the ICJ, which, at the request of South Africa, issued six interim measures against Israel. The Court stated that a credible genocide is being perpetrated against the Palestinian people. On 20 May, International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan also accused Netanyahu and Galant of war crimes against the Palestinians. He also indirectly accused Biden and his team. Spain, Norway and Ireland announced their recognition of the State of Palestine. EU countries generally condemned the Rafah attack. These are positive developments on behalf of the Palestinian people, in order to stop Israel, but for now they are ‘empty’ developments. I hope that soon we will witness developments that are full of content, developments that can really put a stop to Israel and bring the butcher Netanyahu before the ICC Judges. I want to see this, I want to believe this.
