Turkey is at the Centre: Mind, Technology, Land and Future

Today, a country's power is measured not only by the number of tanks it has, but also by the intellect of its engineers, the imagination of its software developers, the productivity of its farmers and the vision of its industrialists.

The world is no longer governed solely by weapons; it is governed by data, algorithms, energy and food. Wars are fought not on the battlefield but in laboratories; borders are drawn not on maps but on chips. UAVs, SİHA drones, artificial intelligence-supported defence systems, satellite technologies and cyber networks determine the fate of countries.

Today, a country's power is measured not only by the number of tanks it has, but also by the intellect of its engineers, the imagination of its software developers, the productivity of its farmers and the vision of its industrialists.

Moves That Changed the World

The US gathered its brainpower in Silicon Valley. China established production + logistics + data integration. Israel combined defence and agriculture with technology. South Korea transformed itself from a war-torn country into a global technology giant.

The common point among these countries is clear: they put people at the centre and did not let their minds migrate.

Turkey's Silent Revolution

Turkey has undergone a silent revolution in the defence industry in recent years. UAVs and SİHA drones are not merely tools; they are the product of a change in mindset. This success was a strategic response to those who said “we can't do it”. If this same mindset spreads to agriculture, energy, mining and industry, there will be no force that can stand in this country's way.

Brain Power and the Migration Issue

Our greatest loss is not underground, but above ground. If our young people are looking to other countries to pursue their dreams, the issue is not salary, but vision. Yet these lands possess the wealth to satisfy defence engineers, software developers, biotechnologists and agricultural technologists alike.

Underground, Above Ground and the Seas

Countries that can process their underground resources, manage their seas and add value to their land become powerful. It is not those who sell raw materials that win, but those who process them. When Turkey's mines, waters, forests and seas are planned together, development becomes a result, not a coincidence.

Why is Growth Essential?

A single success is not enough. Any success that does not continue to grow is doomed to fade. We have succeeded in defence; now we must multiply our successes in agricultural technology, energy storage, software, and industry. A success story should not belong to one person, one company, or one institution; it must spread throughout the country.

Final Invitation

This article is not nostalgia; it is a roadmap. Turkey is one of the rare countries that knows its potential but has yet to fully utilise it. We have the intellect, we have the land, we have the sea. Now the issue is to direct these towards the same goal. The melody falling from Alperen's heart

My Turkiye

This land smells of Alperen, bravery seeps into its stones,

If a mind falls on Anatolia, the age collapses upon it.

It becomes a drone in the sky, software in the hand,

A nation marches towards the future, silently but deeply.

Minerals in its mountains, hope in its seas,

Labour in its plains, clouds on its horizon.

An idea sprouts on this ancient path,

The world stops, Turkey remains standing.

Alperen knows; strength is not in the wrist,

Is it not in the mind, in morality, in patience?

My Turkey, as you walk, the path is made,

The future is born from you, multiplies from you.
