Chicken Farm Pheasant Farm Partridge Production
On August 20, the hunting season started, but for some animals it is September 15. On the other hand, they say there are no game animals left in nature. On the other hand, hunting animals such as partridge, pheasant and snipe have started to be raised in farms in Turkey. Chicken and pheasant are side by side in farms.
Partridge, pheasant, quail, woodcock, snipe, finch, stepchick... Even duck, goose and wild chicken...
These were once game animals. You can't find them for hunting anymore. The only way to get them is to find the ones raised on farms.
When I was a child, I vaguely remember going hunting with relatives in the village. I think we hunted steppe. Maybe it was something else, I don't remember exactly now. Anyway, I only participated in the hunting adventure as a guest, I only had one rifle. I don't think I even shot it.
I took a look on the internet, and as far as I understand, hunting is still allowed, and the hunting season starts after August 20 every year.
The birds and mammals that can be hunted vary from region to region, province to province, and in some places hunting is completely banned.
I think it should be banned everywhere for a long period of time, we have already left no natural life, let nature recover a bit. Then, if necessary, you can open a short hunting season again.

I understand that there are quite a few bird species that are allowed to be hunted.
Quail and steppe, jay, little crow, crop crow, carrion crow, cormorant and magpie.
There are also those whose hunting season starts on September 15. This means that there are two different dates for the start of hunting, not just August 20.
Sand partridge, scabbarded partridge, partridge, coot, coot, mallard, gray duck, fiyu, mudskipper, Hungarian duck, tufted patka, pintail, diamondback patka, pigeon, rock pigeon, wood pigeon, blackbird, blackbird, song thrush, spoonbill and woodcock. These are the bird species that can be hunted after September 15.
As for mammals, the source I read says that wild boar and jackal, as well as wild hare, island hare and fox can be hunted after September 15.

Look, there is an association called Doğa Derneği (Nature Association), as far as I understand, they are also against hunting like me. They filed a lawsuit with the Council of State for a total hunting ban in our country, and the lawsuit is still ongoing.
Animals like crows, wild boars, foxes that can harm nature may be allowed to hunt in the future for balance if they multiply too much, but I don't think any animal should be allowed to be hunted, nature will establish its balance somehow.
Look, we have not even left any predators in Anatolia. Even a species called the Anatolian Parsi has become extinct. We have wiped out some animal species.
As I wrote the other day, I think we should establish natural life parks, you can set up observation huts in these places, and those who are curious can go and observe the natural life of the animal kingdom.
When I was a child, there was the Manyas Bird Sanctuary, now I think Manyas Lake has dried up, there are no migratory birds coming there anymore.
However, how beautiful it was, we used to go there at school and look at migratory birds with binoculars.
Maybe it is still frequented by migratory birds. They said the water level was rising at the end of winter. If they haven't drilled too many water wells for irrigation of the surrounding lands, maybe it is still a paradise.
We need to protect such places, we need to do much more. The natural life is already negatively affected by the effects of global warming, and we humans are harmful enough on top of that, let's at least establish natural life parks so that there are some places where the order of nature will not be touched.

Of course, to whom am I saying all this, wherever there is a beautiful landscape, we tend to build a settlement right there and spoil the beauty of that place by making a makeshift irregular settlement.
Example?
Take a look at all our coasts, are there any empty places with natural life left on our coasts?
Uzungöl in Trabzon, Lake Salda in Burdur and many more.
Examples are many!

We started with the hunt, and now we have reached far.
Egg prices have been on an upward trend for some reason. This is both in Turkey and in Russia. I don't know exactly why, but there is probably a problem on the supply side of the supply-demand balance. That's why the prices are increasing.
Since inflation rates are not as high here as in Turkey, at least this is my guess for this region.
Chicken prices are still not moving much here. Maybe the increase in egg prices is due to the increase in chicken slaughter to offset inflation.
Whatever the reason, it doesn't matter, but when we talk about white meat, turkey meat has also been sold quite a lot in the markets in recent years.
In fact, quail has also been available in the markets for a long time, both in eggs and slaughter.
Goose and duck are also products that have been sold for years.
But for some reason, it is not possible to find pheasant, partridge or woodcock here.
As I said, I know that partridges, pheasants and snipe are not only used as game animals but also started to be raised in farms in Turkey.
I can't say anything about their eggs, I don't know if these birds lay eggs often enough to be sold, but it wouldn't be bad if they were at least supported in their production and included in the markets as a variety.
In nature, I think we should ban hunting and let these birds breed in their natural habitat.
Since poultry farming has developed so much, why shouldn't snipe farming, pheasant farming or partridge farming also develop?
By the way, I have never tried the meat of these birds, I hope it is delicious.
They say that the meat of every bird is inedible, but there is even a song that they hunt partridge on the flat plain, at least as far as I understand the taste of partridge.
Let's have variety, I think we should establish farms other than chicken.
Moreover, look, there is a market like Russia, I think these products would be a good export product if they are well promoted.
I think you should think about this idea!
Love and respect to everyone from Moscow.
