Labor

The Turkish word labor has evolved from the word emgek, which means toil, pain and torment. Hence; Today is the day of those who use not only their bodies but also their brains.

The physical and mental effort spent to do a job. Laborious work.

The Turkish word labor has evolved from the word emgek, which means toil, pain and torment.

Hence;

Today is the day of those who use not only their bodies but also their brains.

Today is not only the day of the worker, but also the day of the peasant, the civil servant, the tradesman, the teacher, the academician, everyone who gives body and head power to get a job done.

Today is the day not only for those who work for their bread, but also for those who do the cooking, laundry, ironing and cleaning at home.

Today is the day not only of one side of the political spectrum, but of all laborers of all political persuasions who have adopted the principle of living justly and fairly, who do not eat their rights and demand their rights.

It is not only the day of labor and workers, but also the day of freedom, change and the end of winter heralding the rebirth of spring.

Long live May Day...

Long live unity, struggle, labor and solidarity.

Happy Labor Day and Spring Festival.
