What is the Theft Style of Post-Modern Times?
Nowadays, thieves come from among the smarter and more cunning types. Instead of working, they find a way to earn money effortlessly in shorter ways by appearing to work. Depending on the level of development of the people, such new age thieves appear in different formats in every country, and they live among us as something respectable.
As everything and every business has changed in today's world, the theft methods, tactics and techniques of thieves have also changed. Now, the known, classical thief typecasts are left in films and between the lines of the news programmes of the media. Now, thieves come out among smarter and more cunning types. By appearing to work instead of working, they find ways to earn money effortlessly in shorter ways. Depending on the level of development of the people in each country, such thieves of the new age appear in different formats and live among us in a respectable way.
I would like to present this situation to your attention with an example from life. Let's look at the situation like a joke, using a little fun language.
Once upon a time in China, there was a bank robbery in the city of Guangzhou. One of the robbers shouts loudly to the people in the bank: "Don't move. The money is the state's, but your life is yours! Lie down."
Everyone lies down quietly on the floor. It's called a mind shift concept. It's a way of changing the habitual way of thinking. In this way, no one is convinced that there is no reason to risk dying for the money in the bank.
Meanwhile, one of the customers, a woman, instead of lying on the floor, lies down on the nearest table. But the way she lies down disturbs the robbers. Seeing this, the robber shouts at him: "Behave yourself. This is a robbery, we are not going to do anything else to you".
This is called "professionalism". Even if you are a robber, you need to concentrate on whatever your job is. You are expected to turn to new opportunities that come your way and not to deviate from the paths that may distract you from your work. Doing otherwise may cause you to fail.
Eventually the bank robbers will load up the cash and head home. The younger of the robbers says to the older one, "Brother, let's count the money, let's know how much we took from the bank!".
The older and more experienced robber replies to him as follows: "You are too immature, young brother. Why should we sit here and count all this money? When we listen to the TV news tonight, we will find out together how much money we stole from the bank. Let's not upset ourselves now, shall we?"
After the robbers escape from the bank, the Branch Manager of the bank tells the Branch Chief to call the police immediately. The chief says: "Hold on, Manager. The robbers have taken their receivables from the bank. Let's take another 10 million and add this money to the 70 million dollars that we have already drunk, what do you say?"
The chief's suggestion is called "Catching the Wave". In other words, in a way, this is turning a terrible situation in your favour!
The manager says, "Man, it would be great if there was a robbery every month. What fun we'd have! We'd be rich. We wouldn't have any problems with our work."
That's what they call "getting rid of troubles". Personal happiness lies in not worrying about even the worst situation in business.
Finally, it's evening. A bank robbery with the statement that 100 million was stolen from a bank is given as breaking news on television!
Listening to the evening news, the robbers decide to sit down and count how much they have stolen, as they guess that the money they have stolen is much less than 100 million.
They count the money. Then they count it again. They count it once more. They look at each other with puzzled eyes. Yes, they realise with astonishment that the money they stole was only about 20 million. They are very angry;
"We risked our lives and could only steal 20 million. The bank manager and his team took 80 million with a hand gesture, using us as an excuse. I guess if we had studied and become a banker instead of being a robber, we might have had a chance to commit a more qualified theft!" they lament.
The way the bank manager stole the money leads the robbers to the point of "the one who holds the honey is licking his finger".
The robbers who committed the robbery are unhappy with 20 million, while the bank manager and his stakeholders are very happy to launder 80 million. They are even happier, especially since they were able to get back the money they lost in the stock market some time ago.
I think it would be best to call the situation of bankers "They steal but they work".
Who are the real robbers in this situation?
The robbers who stole 20 million from the bank?
The bankers who 'drink' the 80 million that the bank was entrusted to them?
