Why don't you distribute chocolate?
We have Turkish delight, Turkish delight! Rahat Lokum as it's called in Russia. Of course, you can have Turkish delight, but chocolate is another flavor. If we have taught the world a different type of coffee called Turkish coffee, I think we should also teach Turkish chocolate. And if you realize, we don't grow coffee either! We have the potential, but not the spirit!
My favorite chocolate is milk chocolate. For some reason I like its taste more than the others.
If I eat a piece of milk chocolate, I immediately feel a sense of joy.
Some people like dark. Dark is a bit bitter, but it is a chocolate too. I don't say no to that either when the lady says let's have this one.
Look how good dark chocolate goes with coffee.
Do you have any at home? If so, I'll tell my wife to make me a cup of coffee.
There is another kind of chocolate in the market called chocolate bar, which is white in color and is actually a mixture of milk powder and sugar. They add a little chocolate flavor, that's all.
I eat white chocolate sometimes, but as I said, my favorite is milk chocolate.
Our country is a paradise, but I guess it is not warm enough. That's why, unfortunately, the cocoa plant, which is the raw material of chocolate, doesn't grow in our country.
I wonder if they could try it on the southern coasts.
The cacao plant, which grows from four to eight meters tall and is used in chocolate making, is mentioned on the internet as a plant species from the hibiscus family.
Its natural growing area is South America, West Africa and the West Indies, but it is cultivated throughout the tropics.
I know this because an acquaintance of mine once gave me a few cocoa beans, they were brown, about the size of a fingertip. He worked in a chocolate factory.
But we are not a bad geography in terms of hazelnuts, pistachios and almonds that are added to chocolate bars.
For some reason, we don't seem to know the value of these products enough. Especially we leave hazelnut producers in the hands of European traders.
Well, we are not bad in terms of milk production either, although it has decreased a bit recently.
There is flour, sugar and oil. What are you waiting for, make halva, make halva.
Jokes aside, we don't have cocoa. But Switzerland doesn't have it either. But Switzerland has managed to become a very famous country for chocolate. Why can't we do it?
In the world ranking, Belgium is actually in the lead.
Spain is in second place.
In fact, Spain was one of the first countries in the world to discover chocolate. Spain also built the first machine for chocolate production.
Switzerland is the third country in the ranking. Nevertheless, Swiss brands are more easily found in Russia.
Then Mexico, France, England, Germany, Germany, America... the list goes on. Turkey is not on the list I looked at.
I would give importance to this issue. I would really like our country to take the lead in chocolate production.
But we have Turkish delight, Turkish delight! Rahat Lokum as it is called in Russia.
Of course, we can have Turkish delight, but chocolate is another flavor.
If we were able to teach the world a different type of coffee called Turkish coffee, I think we should also teach Turkish chocolate. And if you realize, we don't grow coffee either!

You're probably saying, "Why are you talking about chocolate now?
Maybe some of you are thinking that there will be a historic election on Sunday and you are talking about chocolate.
You are right, but I did what I could.
Since I was abroad, I went and cast my vote on Sunday. Good luck to the country and the nation, by the way.
I don't have the chance to wait until the opening of the ballot boxes. Because the ballot boxes are already on their way to Turkey.
But something was really interesting to me this time.
People came to the consulate in droves to vote.
In the last round, I think there was me and one other person in the hall, so it was not that busy.
The staff at the polling stations were literally hunting flies. By the way, they had set up four ballot boxes at the consulate. All of them were numbered three, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4.
But this time everyone came with their children. There was quite a crowd.
Last time the seal was "yes", this time they gave me a "preference" seal.
After I cast my vote, I asked the desk clerk and he said that the YSK had sent these seals this time.
I would like to say that maybe this time the turnout rate in overseas votes may surprise. Be warned!
Anyway, let me get back to chocolate. Let's eat sweet and talk sweet, right!
Very close to our house there is a chocolate factory that produces one of Moscow's historic chocolate brands.
No, the acquaintance I wrote above doesn't work here, he used to work in another chocolate factory.
There are several brands in Moscow, I know how many factories there are.
Even though the buildings are very old, the factory close to us is still working.
And it is located in the heart of the city!
When boiling, it releases a heavy chocolate smell. Fortunately, you can't feel it from home. However, you can smell it when you pass by on your way to the market. I really pity the people living in the buildings around it every time. It has a very strong odor. It seems pleasant at first, but as you walk towards the market, the smell gets heavier and heavier.
Yesterday they were probably boiling again, there was that heavy smell on the way to the market.
I don't know the technological process very well, I've never had the chance to build a chocolate factory. But I can guess that it is similar to a brewery. There are probably facilities like milling, boiling, mixing, filtering.
They attach great importance to chocolate in Russia.
When they go to visit someone, they always go with a box of chocolates. It is an old habit. In old Russian movies, the character of the movie always takes a box of chocolates when he goes to visit someone.
But unfortunately Russian chocolates are not of very good quality. I only like one of them, though they are not that expensive. Most of them are affordable.
By the way, it just came to my mind, speaking of elections, let me mention Metin Akpınar. There was an interview with him on the internet yesterday.
He really makes very deep analyzes on our social sociology. I listened to his short interview with my mouth open again with his sweet tongue and witty manner.
On Kafa TV, on its YouTube channel, there are periodic interviews with dear Candaş Tolga Işık.
I enjoy watching them every time.
But this time, I must say that something Metin Akpınar said at the end of the video really struck a chord with me.
"I was expecting a spring in this election, but I think I got fall," he said in his last interview.
"By the next elections, I will be no longer among you," he ended sadly.
May God give him a long life. I don't think he should even think about such things. We love him very much. I want him to hear me say that.
Yes, it is not clear whether the end of May will be spring or fall, but we will wait and see together on Sunday.
I think people are resigned to their fate in Turkey. Otherwise, it seems to me that the government would not get so many votes.
Look, even knowing that they have been deceived, they still go and vote for the government at the ballot box.
The fact that the videos shown are fake does not affect them, it does not affect them as it should, I mean, if someone tried to fool me with a fake video, I would say what are you trying to do? And these people applaud.
People are not impressed by all the economic problems they are going through, nor by Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu's calm, positive and fatherly demeanor.
They are like zombies under the spell of a malicious sorcerer. It is as if they do not know what they are doing under the spell of an evil sorcerer. For some reason, no one can see where the country is heading under this government. Maybe they don't care.
As dear Metin Akpınar said, I guess we will all have to say patience together.
I hope people will get out of that spell in this short time and the country will start to breathe a little bit. Otherwise, it seems to me that the situation will not be good with this government for another term.
Anyway, we started with chocolate, let's finish with chocolate. Think about it and move on.
Water will take its course anyway, every nation will be governed as it deserves.
I am talking about children, they all love chocolate. I wish Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu would distribute chocolate to children wherever he goes.
I don't mean anything expensive or anything like that, just a small chocolate bar, even milk if possible, I wish those little rascals could sweeten their mouths.
I don't know, it just came to my mind. I like them, so I don't want to eat them on my own, because the lady says come on, she has made the coffee.
Maybe Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu will hear me and do what I say.
Love and respect to everyone from Moscow
