Living things die, non-living things remain as they are.

Still, don't you think there is something wrong with this?

If things in this universe can exist for billions of years without changing, I would think of making living things exist for such a long time. 

Even though living things are made of matter in the universe, they have a certain lifespan.

You can't interfere in God's business, but I think God could have made us live much longer if He wanted to. At least He could have designed our minds much better.

All living beings have this malfunction of forgetting.

I wonder if he made a mistake, or did he intentionally create us this way?

For example, we living beings are mostly made of water and carbon.

Would we have lived longer if we had been created from another substance?

When man discovered pure silicon, he didn't understand exactly what it was for. 

Silicon is an element with atomic number 14, which is also used in computer technology, is the main ingredient of transistors and is denoted by "Si" in the periodic table. 

It is the seventh most abundant element in the universe after basic substances such as carbon, hydrogen and oxygen.

Unfortunately, it is not found in pure form in the world. It is present as a compound in sand and some silicate-based substances.

Therefore, there is actually a lot of silicon in the world.

That's why mankind discovered how to make glass from silicon long ago.

Let me tell you about a term that we use incorrectly. 

Silicon in English is silicon. We call it silicon because we got it from the French. 

That's why the Americans call Silicon Valley where the technological companies in America are concentrated. It was passed on to us as Silicon Valley as the name given by the Americans.

But as I said, the Turkish name for this substance is silicon. 

Of course, there is also something called silicone, which is surgically attached to the breasts of women to prevent water leakage in bathrooms or to make them look more beautiful, is actually a silicon compound. But its name is really silicone.

In this case, the Turkish translation of Silicon Valley in America should actually be Silicon Valley.

Isn't it funny? This is how we confuse so many things.

When Jöns Jakob Berzelius first characterized silicon in its pure form in 1823, the semiconductor properties of silicon were not yet known. Silicon, which is found in nature as silicate, the oxidized form that reacts with oxygen, will be used much later as the raw material for transistors. 

Transistors mean the beginning of the electronic age.

Today, integrators with billions of tiny transistors inside and, more importantly, memory chips for storing information are made of silicon.

If our brains were made of silicon-based memory chips, I think the problem of forgetting would be solved.

Moreover, since our DNA, which loses a few molecules in every cell renewal, is also a cause of aging, it might be possible to turn the whole system off when necessary and rest without expending any energy.

Because the memory chips produced today can store the information stored on them for a very long time without the need for any external energy.

Can you imagine turning off the system and then turning it back on whenever you want to pick up where you left off?

Would it have been bad if God had used silicon instead of clay when he created us?

After all, life is also information. Man in particular is information. 

And storing information is apparently much easier with silicon.

Could we be doing something against God's knowledge by taking safety precautions in construction?

After all, God did not say to take safety precautions while working in construction sites.

I think he was right.

If Allah wanted, He could have created silicon in pure form on earth. 

Why did Jöns Jakob Berzelius bother to make silicon pure?

Why did they discover its semiconductor properties later on? In fact, what is a transistor, why did we build computers, why are we always trying to discover something to live more comfortably?
