What should be done for foreign university preparation in high school 2?

Great schools require great efforts…

What makes a school great and valuable? There may be various answers to this question, but if you ask me, what makes great schools great is their prestige, prestige, and contribution to students and society. Of course, many factors such as financial structure and opportunities, physical facilities, academician quality, etc. can be counted, but ultimately the size of a school is the value it has in the public eye and the image it creates. University education has an important place and contribution during the upbringing of a person. In fact, after a long 12-year education marathon, the university is the last turning point, the place where you will put your signature on your education life. Higher education is the next step in reaping what you sow and perhaps shaping the life ahead of you. For this reason, it is of course the priority of all young people to receive this education in the best possible institution and to start life better equipped. For this reason, it is very valuable to make a qualified and conscious preparation during high school in order to enter a good university. Here is the list of things to do in 9th grade last week, and then let's look at what to do in 10th grade this week;

High School Grade 10 Planning Checklist

Share your syllabus with your advisor. Him;

1) Ask about (AP)Advanced Placement courses,

2) Learn the courses you need to take to apply to your preferred schools and get information about the exams,

3) Update the four-year “to-do list” based on this information you received from your advisor.

Take the PSAT “SAT preparation exam” held every October. Review the documents you need to compile to register for the PSAT test you will take at school or outside. According to the result you get from this PSAT exam, you can prepare for the main SAT exam (this exam is also the National Merit Scholarship determination exam) that you will take in the 11th grade. Since this exam is taken without any study, the PSAT exam results may be low. Because it measures your current language level. However, this grade is definitely open for improvement, since the exam is given at the beginning of the 10th grade and the SAT exam will be taken after 2 more years of language education. It is necessary to continue working without demoralizing. You can get all the necessary information for the English language preparation exam on the College Board website “www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/psat/about.html”. There are also "SAT subject tests", that is, "SAT course exams". Officially, SAT course exams do not have a preparatory exam in this way, and every grade taken is recorded in the system. I will discuss this subject in detail in another article I will write under the title of “exams abroad”.

Continue to engage in and maintain extracurricular activities as these activities will be a very important part of your university application process. If your school runs a volunteer community service program, be aware of these projects and plan to complete it if there is a minimum requirement of voluntary service hours that you must complete before graduation. If there is no such organization in your school, then search for other Non-Governmental Organization activities where you can take part in social responsibility and community service projects.

Continue your detailed examination of career choices that you started in 9th grade and the scans of the schools and departments where these trainings are given.

Start by reviewing the admission requirements of the universities you are considering applying to. Go to each university's website and take a closer look. Some global sites can also help for this. In particular, world ranking platforms transfer more statistical and formatted information for these researches.

In order to complete the admission requirements of the universities you are targeting, make sure you take the right courses at the right time, in the most appropriate academic year, twice.
Keep a close eye on the progress of your grades and your attendance. If you are experiencing difficulties in lessons, you can request studies or private lessons from your teachers, or you can create study groups with your friends.

Check your course credits with your advisor or mentoring services when choosing next year's courses. Make sure you complete all of your required credits before graduation.
Find out if your school offers some credit courses that will provide exemption at the university during the summer or winter semesters. If not, try to take these courses, which provide university credit, from outside.

Don't forget to register in April for the SAT Reasoning exam held in June and the SAT subject tests (SAT course exams) that will be completed by June.
Participate in enriched summer school programs on university campuses or volunteer on community service projects. Universities are looking for students who spend their summer vacations on improving themselves both academically and socially.

High school 10th grade is half of the way in 4-year high school education and abroad

It is the last year to test the functionality of the master plan before the 11th grade, which is very important for ersite preparation. What do I mean? In the 11th grade, an intense effort is required to complete the exams abroad. Together with the heavy course schedule, this exam traffic makes time management troublesome. For this reason, it is important for the student to establish an order in which he will feel confident and not panic about what he will do and when in 10th grade. After installing the system, it will be enough just to follow the process.

In my next article, I will share the to-do list in High School 3 or 11th Grade.
