Did you know that if you change your thoughts, you can also change your destiny?

Our consciousness, in other words our mind, may know many things. But why can't we do what we know? Because the subconscious thinks differently about this. Our consciousness and subconscious cannot be friends with each other. For example, there are many doctors who know how harmful smoking is and smoke it.

I attach great importance to this aphorism of Yunus Emre. "There is only me, inside me." Indeed, there is another me inside all of us, but for some reason most of us do not want to confront it. Because; That me is none other than our subconscious that directs our lives! In real life, we always have to reckon with ourselves! And we ponder the answers to never-ending questions. Aren't the whys, wherefores and hows always a part of our lives? When we cannot answer the questions asked, we look for ways to escape from ourselves. Why is one person sad and another happy?

Why is one person fearful and anxious, while another is full of faith and confidence?

Why can one person recover from a disease that is said to be incurable, while another cannot?

Why does one person have a nice luxurious house and the other has to live in a makeshift place?

Why is one person a paragon of success while another is miserable?

Why is one speaker engaging and immensely popular, while another is ordinary and uninspiring?

Why is one person a genius in his job or profession, while another tries to stumble his way through life without doing or achieving anything?

Why do so many tolerant and moral people suffer from negativities in their mind and body?

Why are so many immoral people successful, rich and healthy and enjoying it?

Why does one person have a happy marriage while the other experiences unhappiness and disappointment in their marriage?

Could the answer to these questions be hidden in the functioning of your consciousness and subconscious?

The clearest and shortest answer I can give to this is definitely yes. Then what comes to the mind of a person what is the subconscious? comes the question. You go to a dietician or a doctor, they give you a list of good diet recommendations, but then you cannot do it, if the other voice that speaks inside us sabotages us, if you are one of those who cannot go to the gym after being a member, if you continue to eat uncontrollably even though you are full, it means that you have not convinced the subconscious, which is the chief of your brain!

Look at what the experts on this subject say: It is not enough for the conscious mind to know, it is necessary to convince the subconscious, as you call it in psychology, and the two must work together arm in arm. In short, this is called being friends with the self within us. Our consciousness, in other words our mind, may know many things. But why can't we do what we know? Because the subconscious thinks differently about this. They cannot be friends with each other. For example, there are many doctors who know how harmful smoking is and smoke it. You know, that other side of us that speaks within us, the subconscious of which Yunus Emre said, "There is only me inside me."

While the conscious mind is concerned with abstract things, the subconscious is concerned with emotions and beliefs, and emotional records leave larger traces in our brain and are remembered more easily. For example, imagine that the conscious mind says "obesity is the cause of many diseases" and the subconscious mind reminds you of "the taste of profiteroles and the beauty of flowing chocolate". Which is more effective? The result is clear. The subconscious always makes decisions, the consciousness participates in it. This way we feel like we are making the decisions.

After what I have explained so far, we can say that our subconscious is the part of our brain that we are not aware of. In a way, it is our memory store. The subconscious also ensures that many activities in our body run automatically and regularly. Negative emotions such as guilt, anxiety, feeling trapped, helplessness combine with belief patterns in our subconscious and are directed to a certain part of our body through the neural network. Most of the time, we can cause many diseases because of the coding we do in our subconscious.

I care very much about this subject and would like to share with you the inferences I have drawn on this subject. For example, research shows that many types of cancer occur due to emotions that we subconsciously put into our minds and choose to forget or not think about. These words that doctors always say must be due to this situation. “A stress-free life and not worrying about anything!” So how will this happen? This is also a separate subject of research and discussion.

You will see that most of our behaviors in our daily lives, the emotions we experience and the situations we find ourselves in, occur under the control of our subconscious! All of the habits we have acquired throughout our lives are recorded in our subconscious. Learning to play a musical instrument, driving a car, or a baby learning to walk happens with the help of the subconscious. Once these actions become habits, the subconscious begins to do them automatically. For example, you learned to ride a bike. After riding a bicycle many times, most of the movements you make while cycling become automatic with the orders of your subconscious. Moreover, by realizing what your subconscious is like, you can direct it. The part of the iceberg above the water is consciousness, daily decision-making processes.

It helps us predict what to do and how to do it through rational thought.

The subconscious is the part of the iceberg that remains under water and constitutes a larger part of the mind. The subconscious mind is concerned with the repetition of learned behavior. In the subconscious, there are memories, habits and fears that we do not want to face. The individual often throws experiences that he does not want to remember into his subconscious and keeps them there. A trigger that reminds us of this emerges and can make us experience negative emotions.

Imagine someone around you constantly telling you that you are useless. Even if it is a wrong thought, because it is expressed over and over again, it settles into your subconscious and is stored there, along with the accompanying feelings of discouragement and anger. If this accusation continues later, this time the person starts to think that he is really useless. This time, your subconscious automatically starts giving you this message in every new situation you encounter. Thus, because you believe that you are useless, you begin not to make the necessary effort, thinking that you will somehow fail in every situation you take on. While what you were told was completely wrong, this time it becomes true because you listened to others. That's why it's best to value your own thoughts. I would also like to remind you to pay attention to these in our jokes.

The subconscious is coded by our parents and our immediate environment between the ages of 5-10, with an emphasis on ages 0-5. After this coding, he goes to sleep until he is 25 years old. After this age, it begins to affect our behavioral patterns; We can change this situation. As a result of past conditioning, we often prevent ourselves from realizing our wishes with some of our emotions and behaviors. If our life were shaped only by conscious thoughts, it would be easier for us to be successful in every aspect of our lives. So learn to ignore the thoughts that mislead you in your subconscious. The subconscious cannot know what is real and what is not. Our subconscious perceives everything we direct as an order and acts accordingly. It cannot distinguish which of the things we repeat to ourselves are illogical and which are logical. In short, whatever you repeat throughout the day, it perceives it as correct and stores it in your subconscious. Therefore, if you suggest to your subconscious mind thoughts that will calm you down and make sense throughout the day, you will get rid of all negative thoughts!

All habits are programs created by conditioning that has previously settled in our brains. In order to change an old habit, it would be appropriate to find the thought that we used to condition ourselves with and replace it with thoughts that will benefit us. If you want to influence your behavior positively, you can only do this with the help of your subconscious. Because repeated thoughts take root in your subconscious mind. Constantly repeated negative thoughts produce negative results. For this reason, the more positive thoughts you have, the more positive experiences you will have in your subconscious.

with respectful love
