What is the Secret of Community Success?
I think that collective work, cooperation, planned work and establishing a good control mechanism are very necessary for social success. Always "strength comes from unity!"
In order to be successful, every individual must first believe in themselves and their potential. Those who do not give up by focusing on continuous improvement are closer to taking the lead. Because life loves the brave, and success requires effort and courage.
Success is the realisation of a goal or the fulfilment of an expectation. Mostly people want to be successful because it is thought that success will bring positive emotions such as happiness, fulfilment and self-affirmation. In addition, success in business life means more earnings and a more comfortable and respectable life. For this reason, individuals endeavour to be successful in a project, exam, interview, business life. But what do societies do to be successful?
The saying "Life is common" is constantly said between spouses. In general, spouses often say this sentence to each other when they argue with each other from time to time. From time to time, they sweetly remind each other that everything in the family should be done jointly! In fact, no matter how you look at it, there is no need to be a "linguist" to understand how true it is. Life is beautiful when we help each other in the family and in social life, when we share the bitter and the sweet. This phenomenon applies not only to relations between spouses, but also to all collective work in other layers of society.
We must recognise that unity and solidarity among people is necessary and important for the achievement of great works and overcoming difficulties. I consider it important to be in solidarity and to be able to act jointly among the people we work with in working life. I am one of those who believe that it is an important way of acting in order to accomplish a job properly, to enjoy the work done and to be able to feel joy and happiness from the resulting product. Our ancestors must also think like this, as they said "What's in one hand, two hands make a sound" to explain this situation.
Every human being who is left alone in the face of the difficulties of life and natural events realises and will realise that he is ultimately a helpless and powerless being. A person should not be expected to face all difficulties on his own. Those who act alone are doomed to obliteration and failure. Even more importantly, he cannot understand how to act together with others, how to achieve something jointly, how to reach social benefit. Even if he achieves something, he cannot enjoy it alone. Because man is a social being. It is important to be an individual, but it is also a fact that people who distance themselves from others and believe in themselves alone are always defeated.
In order to live, to overcome difficulties and to gain distance on the road to success, people always need each other's strength, ideas and thoughts. Where one person's thoughts and opinions are exhausted, the other's intelligence and a different point of view can be useful in reaching the result. Where there is unity, the ways of success of the works handled can be found more accurately and easily. The working order can be established more firmly. Even conflicts of ideas and opinions help to reveal the truth. In all our endeavours and initiatives, it is always necessary to consult the ideas, opinions and assistance of those who are more experienced than us. It is the most logical way to benefit from the strong harmony of unity and the synergy it creates. In the words of the ancients, "When there is no head to head, the stone will not move from its place!" Yes, where there is no unity and solidarity, success depends only on coincidence. Unity and solidarity triggers collective understanding, which in turn leads to success.
The reason why Europeans are more successful than us in most matters is that they act with a good planning and collective understanding in every work. Of course, they put in place a strong control mechanism within the law. This is already a sine qua non of all labour systems.
In our society, on the other hand, the understanding of "the caravan is organised on the road" is valid. This view prevails in almost every part of our society. Of course, we can add to this the bad examples in the merit system. In fact, our people have shown in the War of Independence that they can be in unity and solidarity. When our army, Turkish people and all layers of society came together under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Pasha, they showed the whole world what could be done in line with a common goal. In fact, the Turkish nation has an organisational structure, this is in its character. There have been many examples of this in history. Yet, one cannot help wondering why we are like this today. In my opinion, Western societies apply the collective understanding not only in war, but at every stage of life! In case of any failure, they do not do it all over again, they identify the reasons that led to the mistake and try to repair their system. Then they can continue on their way with the new system. I think that collective work, cooperation, planned work and establishing a good control mechanism are very necessary for social success.
Let's not forget, always "strength comes from unity!"
