Long live we are in 2024. Alright what now?

Today, of course, we do not seek inspiration from the stars to learn about the future as we did in the past, but we still strive to obtain new information about the universe every day in order to understand what our future will be like.

Have we entered 2024?

What will happen now?

Will this year be a good year in our lives?

I'm really curious, how do we understand this?

Let's look at the stars!

Could they be saying something?

***

In ancient times, people made it a habit to read horoscopes to give them news about the future.

There were no telescopes back then like there are today. That's all they can see with the naked eye in the sky.

There are so many stars in the universe, how many of them can we see with the naked eye?

It is said that the number of stars that can be seen with the naked eye in the clear sky outside the city is around 900.

***

The unit of brightness level of stars is called "magnitude".

Outside the city, stars with a brightness level of up to +4 magnitude can be seen.

In cities, since the lights of the city illuminate the sky, only things up to magnitude +2 can be seen.

In this case, they say that we can only see about 70 of the stars with the naked eye in cities.

This measure of brightness of stars was measured in A.D. Klaudyos Ptolemy, a Greek mathematician from Alexandria who is estimated to have lived between 100-170, was also involved in geography and was an astronomer. Meanwhile, Ptolemy is also known as a music theorist.

In his work called "The Great Composition", which is one of his two important works (Arabic: Kitab el Macisti, Latin: Almagest, Greek: Mathematike Syntatksis, and his other work is "Geography"), Ptolemy predicted a world-centered universe. Although this work seems like a work on mathematics, it is actually a work on astronomy.

In this work, Klaudyos Ptolemy divided the stars into 6 groups according to their brightness. Those with a brightness of magnitude 1 (very bright) and those with a magnitude of 6 (less bright).

This means that at that time, since there were no city lights like there are now, very faint stars could be seen with the naked eye.

For some reason, star movements have attracted the attention of mankind throughout history.

Today is actually no different.

Today, of course, we do not seek inspiration from the stars to learn about the future as we did in the past, but we still strive to obtain new information about the universe every day in order to understand what our future will be like.

It seems like we will solve the secrets of the universe and then we will be able to prevent our end.

Over time, by taking advantage of technology, we have learned that there are millions of stars, including galaxies in distant places, even in the Milky Way galaxy of which we are a member, with the huge telescopes we sent into space.

It turns out that the number of stars is even greater than the number of hairs on our heads.

We quickly realized that Ptolemy's earth-centered universe was wrong, but we still do not know where the center of the universe is.

At least today, we know that we live in a heliocentric tropic and that the only life we know of is based on our world, on a member of the solar system that until yesterday was known as wandering stars and today we call planets.

***

It really took a long time for humanity to discover other planets.

Unlike other stars, ancient astrologers noticed that a few of them moved in some interesting orbits in the sky, and they called these wandering stars planets, and realized that some of them were wandering in the sky.

It is interesting, is not it? You spend nights with your head up, studying the sky. What a strange profession being an astrologer is. I don't know how they can sleep during the day.

When I was in Norilsk, I couldn't sleep at night, my metabolism couldn't go into sleep mode because the sun was shining overhead. I even had thick dark colored curtains installed, but after that my sleep pattern improved a little.

People also compared constellations to certain shapes.

Ursa constellation family (bear), Turkish for big bear, little bear, Orion constellation (hunter), Leo (lion), Andromeda (named after Princess Andromeda), Pegasus (winged horse), Aquila (eagle), Lyre (instrument). , Skorpius (scorpio), Sagittarius (sagittarius), then Sirius star, the brightest star in the sky, because it is the closest star to the solar system. Sirius is a member of the Big Dog constellation, Akyıldız in Turkish… many more.

Until the end of the 19th century, there were exactly 108 constellations in the sky.

The International Astronomical Union, founded in 1925, divided the sky into 88 constellations. Today we know that there are 88 constellations.

As a result, human beings created many figures from the constellations with their imagination and predicted that the figures formed from these constellations made some movements with the effect of the planets traveling between these constellations.

Pluto will enter Aquarius, Jupiter will be in Taurus. Eclipses are important, solar and lunar eclipses will affect Aries and Libra.

Venus, that is, Aphrodite, is confused about whom to approach and does not know who to flirt with.

Saturn in Pisces, Uranus continues his retro moves. It is said that this year will be the year of Taurus.

I'm going to say it's a fabrication, but this is a fabrication that has been going on for centuries, so I'm actually interpreting it for years.

***

We are curious about the future because the future is unknown.

Events that haven't happened yet, because that's the future, they will happen, but they haven't happened yet.

Will it happen? Maybe.

He says there will be stars.

***

So is it possible to predict what will actually happen?

Actually, yes, up to a point.

For example, I see that there will be a local election this year, in the coming days. Am I wrong? We will have an election in the first half of the year!

After 2024, 2025 will come, I see that too. (Which district was it in, somewhere in Adana, I think, they have already entered 2025, but for us normal people, there is still exactly one year to enter 2025!)

Look, let me tell you something a little scary, I see an earthquake on the North Anatolian Fault in the future, you too in three, I say in five.

It will be until mid-morning, but it is better to take precautions now.

Istanbul is also in danger, there are many buildings in Istanbul that will collapse!

In short, we can predict some things for the future, but these things we predict can only be things that have started to move and whose movements can be measured, or things that have been planned.

In reality, there is a possibility that an event that has not yet occurred may not occur.

For some unknown reason, I wanted to be inspired by the stars in my first article this year.

I hope I was useful.

There's not much hope, but I hope this year will be at least better than last year.

With love and respect to everyone from Moscow.
