I love, but to what end?
We all want a world full of love, but for some reason we do our best to make sure there is no love left in the world. At least there are many enemies of love in the world.
There's even a song, "If there was no love, if the heart wasn't filled with love," the lover once said.
What would the world be good for, if it wasn't filled with eyes, said the songwriter.
It is known as Neşet Ertaş's song, but it is actually an anonymous work. The author is unknown. It is a Kırşehir folk song.

We all want a world full of love, but for some reason we do our best to make sure there is no love left in the world.
At least there are many enemies of love in the world.
Sometimes I can't help but wonder what we want from each other.
Throughout history, the strong have oppressed the weak with violence to keep them under their yoke. The situation is not much different today.
I don't want to go into the relations between men and women in such depth, but since women are biologically weaker than men, women have suffered the most from this problem of the strong oppressing the weak.
A male-dominated world order has been established throughout history.

Even our holy religious books have this truth written in their essence.
A woman's testimony is not accepted on her own! If she has to be presented as a witness, she must be accompanied by another female witness!
Then the injustice in inheritance!
As the daughter of a deceased person, if a woman is present with her brothers, she receives half the share of her brother, and if there are no brothers and the girl is the only one, she receives half of the inheritance. If there is more than one daughter, she gets two thirds of the inheritance.
Why?
Allah says so in the Qur'an, why? Surah Nisa 4/11.
The division of inheritance in Islam is much more detailed, but I will not go into all the details here. But it is true that there is a distinction between men and women in Islam. There are many verses written on this subject.
Is the place of women very different in other religions?
According to the Christian view, the woman is said to complement the man's deficiencies, to be dependent on him and to serve him as his slave, and at the same time, the man must always protect himself from the evil of the woman.
Baptism!
According to Christian belief, a child is already a sinner at birth and must be washed with holy water and cleansed of his/her sins.
This tradition alone is an indication of how ridiculous beliefs Christianity started with, but that's the world of human belief, sometimes you can't find anything to say.
Only Judaism has a slightly more equitable approach to women, but even there, social life is shaped according to gender and women are not supposed to play a role in social life.
She is only responsible for protecting the family, bearing children and continuing the generation.
As a mother, a woman has a special place in Judaism and is to be respected, but her loyalty to her man is also demanded. In Judaism, the man is responsible for the woman's livelihood.
Of course, there is also a rule that in order for someone to be Jewish, their mother's side must be Jewish. Apparently, according to Judaism, the father is not important. Since it is not possible to be sure who the father is, the lineage in Judaism goes through the mother's side. I think even this is a wrong point of view.
But yes, we can say that the position of women in Judaism is better than in Islam and Christianity. But there is still not complete equality.
In other words, in none of the Middle Eastern religions, which we call the Abrahamic religions, men and women are considered to be exactly equal.

Abrahamic religions discriminate between men and women, but is it different in Buddhism, which is not a religion at all?
In the early days of Buddhism, due to the patriarchal culture of the time, women were considered to be of the lowest social class, worthless and useless.
Initially, the Buddha's idea was that there was no place for women in the religion.
However, with the steady, determined and firm stand of the elite group of women led by Mahaprajapati, the Buddha's aunt and maternal grandmother, and at the request of the chief disciple Ananda, the Buddha's mind changed and women were accepted into the religion.
This was supposedly a radical change in the existing cultural structure.
Today, however, the patriarchal traditions of those beginnings continue in Buddhism.

So no matter what, on the one hand we call it love, but on the other hand, even if not consciously, we separate women from men, we discriminate between men and women in one way or another.
Even in modern world cultures, the income that a working woman can earn is a certain amount lower than the income that a man can earn even if he doesn't work as hard.
Okay, there is no discrimination between men and women in terms of minimum wage and such limitations, but in the business world, as if men have made a silent agreement among themselves, it is accepted as a valid rule in the eyes of employers to give lower salaries to female employees.
And even if the employer is a pregnant woman, this rule does not change much.
This is perhaps a form of employer opportunism.
So whether it is modern or old culture, women are not considered equal to men.
This includes the opinion of some women, and some women accept inequality from the beginning.
Maybe one day our true equality as human beings will be accepted by everyone.
***
There is no such thing as biological equality!
Woman is biologically different from man! It's nature's way!
If nature has made it that way, is it for you and me to say anything?
Isn't that what God said in the holy books?
We are not equal!
Don't invent things!
A woman's place is at her husband's knee!
Don't spare your wife's ass!
Yes, and beat her if you have to!
Where your husband hits, roses will grow!

In the Middle Ages, they burned witches with fire!
Witch! It's actually a Persian word!
Russian is vedma, English is witch, written witch, pronounced uvic.
They all mean sorcerers.
Have you ever heard of a male witch?
Why can't there be male witches?
Because witchcraft is a female concept. In fact, witches have been men's nightmare.
They would throw mice, frogs or lizards into the boiling cauldron on the fire and boil them, and they would throw all kinds of herbs, all kinds of things on top and cast spells!
You couldn't get rid of the witches by cutting their necks and stabbing them with a sword, they would burn them in the fire!
How many witches were burned in medieval Europe!
Women would either live under the authority of men or if they disobeyed, they would be labeled as witches and burned in fires!
It was really savage what was done back then.
If there were witches then, why aren't there any today?
Were they burned to extinction?
Or was witchcraft really just a label back then?

It is really not possible to understand us men.
On the one hand we call it love, we really love women in our hearts, but on the other hand we subconsciously say about our beloved that you are a woman, don't interfere in men's business.
Moreover, if someone opposes us, especially if they say, "I don't want you, I'm going to go on to someone else," our eyes glaze over and we kill them without batting an eyelid. Even if we don't kill her, we mutilate her, we throw a bottle in her face.
And the ones who do this are usually either their ex-husbands or whoever is assigned to do the honorable deed in the family.
Clean up our honor, son! Go shoot your sister with this gun!
Most of the time, mothers give the task of cleaning honor to their sons.
What can we do, that's the custom!

According to data from the platform "We will stop femicides", femicide rates in Turkey have been on the rise since 2011.
According to a report prepared with the contribution of UN Women, 5 women or girls are killed every hour by their intimate partners or family members.
Of course, I think these statistics are really disastrous.
All these centuries have passed, we supposedly live in the modern world now, but still femicides do not stop.
It was already known that there would be an increase in femicides in Turkey, especially with the withdrawal from the Istanbul Convention, but I can say that women's suffering from men in the world is not at a negligible level.
I don't even know if this data is correct, but the rate of femicides in Turkey seems to be even lower than the world average.
Forget Russia or America, can we have a lower rate than Belgium?
These data are called World Bank data and maybe the World Bank has prepared these graphs by accepting Tüik data as correct.
It doesn't make any sense to me, either the fact that the murders are murders of women is being hidden, or it is probably being made to look like the woman killed herself even though the murder was committed.
This information does not make any sense to me!
On the other hand, even if this information is true, the fact that there are countries in the world that are much more disastrous in this regard does not mean that the situation in our country is good.
I wish we men would not raise our hands even to a woman just because we are men.

This topic is very depressing.
But it is also very real.
Yes, we men have been in the habit of oppressing women with brute force throughout history.
***
I cannot end this article with such a boring topic.
Let me end this article with a cheerful folk song about male-female relationships. It is also a ballad full of love:
/ Poplars along the creek, green leaves bloomed, I couldn't get enough of my beloved, let the black land get enough.
Let's go, my beloved, before the patrols come.
Persian girl, Chechen girl, you wear red, I wear red, let's go to the top of that mountain, you pick roses, I pick daffodils.
Come on my rose, side by side, side by side, we're not afraid of that and that.
Oy Bulancak, Bulancak, what's going to happen? How will this work out?
The sin of men, the sin of us men, the girl will be asked from you, the girl will be asked from you!/
Love is a beautiful feeling. Stay with love.
With love and respect from Moscow.
