Black and White logic

I wrote it last year, I saw that nothing has changed, I thought I would remind you again.

I wrote it last year, I saw that nothing has changed, I thought I would remind you again.

“We celebrated with great ceremonies that we said hello to Anatolia with the Battle of Manzikert almost 1000 years ago.

Let's celebrate for sure.

Let's celebrate the victories and all the conquests before the War of Independence and the establishment of the Republic.

As a result, the Republic of Turkey has the status of the continuing state of the Ottoman Empire, the last of the 16 Turkish states established before it. Therefore, it is the right approach to get rid of the nonsense of ignoring, ignoring or ignoring the pre-Republican period of Turkish History, which is claimed to have occurred in some periods of our Republican history, and to protect the past.

On the other hand, the victories and national holidays we experienced in the history of the Republic are much more special and important than the past, they are our recent history, they are related to the foundation and liberation of our current state, and they are days that deserve to be celebrated with enthusiasm and more than that.

Therefore; If it is true that the Battle of Manzikert and the conquest of Istanbul were celebrated with great ceremonies, it is wrong to restrict the celebration of our republican national holidays such as 19 May-30 August with various excuses.

If a precaution is taken in one, it can and should be taken in the other.

In fuzzy logic, just as there is not only black or white, one does not reject the other, the concepts are intertwined, if there is uncertainty and blur; There is no one-sidedness, marginalization and rejection of the other in history reading and celebrations.

Alparslan, Fatih and Kanuni are our values. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, on the other hand, has a special and beautiful value, importance and place in the hearts of the majority of this nation, much more than the previous ones. Ignoring what he is doing, belittlement, showing it as worthless and wrong, and not celebrating national holidays with various excuses will do no one any good.

Those who celebrate victories are those who see themselves on the same side and mentality as those who won those victories; Not those who make excuses.”
