March 31 Incident

March 31st is one of the important dates in Turkish Political History. 

Since it started on March 31, 1325 (April 13, 1909) according to the Gregorian calendar, it has taken its place in our history as the March 31 incident. 

This rebellion against the rule of the Constitutional Monarchy II, which reached an extreme stage with the rebels demanding Sharia law killing the officers and deputies of the Unionists wherever they saw them, was suppressed with the arrival in Istanbul of the Movement Army, which was named by the founder of the Republic of Turkey, the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, in which he served as Chief of Staff. 

The suppression of the 13-day uprising against the Constitutional Monarchy II, one of the modernization movements, and its rule;

2. The Committee of Union and Progress increased its political influence and

After this brief historical reminder, let us return to today's March 31st agenda. 

Turkey is entering an election mood.

A very colorful, exciting and tense race awaits us due to the alliances formed, the support and hindrances outside the alliance, and the associations with the problem of survival.

Now the decision is ours.

We will go and vote.

Just as the suppression of the Sharia rebellion by the army of the movement was an important event more than a century ago, going to the polls and casting your vote in the upcoming elections is just as important today. 

Vote and spoil the game.

Vote, at least you will be able to say "I chose my president and my deputy, they are in charge with my will".

In the presidential election, if you want change, say Millet; if you prefer the continuation of the status quo, say Cumhur. 

But definitely say something.

In the parliamentary election, vote for the party that is strong in the alliance, do not waste your vote, do not be tricked.

Let us not forget that we are the Nation and the People.

Let democracy win first.
