Sarı Seyin (Oructepe) Martyry
Mother and father
Sari Seyin's father, Tailor Hasan from the Küçük Süleymanoğulları... He is a beautiful person just like his name. Hasan Düzü, named after him, is on both sides of the valley where the Sehriban Stream now crosses the Valay Bridge. Just below the Osman Village, which was abandoned by a landslide. At that time, a makeshift wooden suspension bridge connected the two sides. When it's not flooding.
His mother is Kezban. Although she is not a woman ruler in the Turkish sense, she appears above Kezzi Banu in other meanings: A noble and praiseworthy Kastamonu woman. Relative of Kadi Muharrem.
YELLOW SEA
Hüseyin, who will see the collapse of the State of Ali and the proclamation of the Republic, was born on July 1, 1859, in Osman Village, on the southern slopes of the Valley, opened by the Shahriban Stream, which runs through the Küre Mountains Forests of Kastamonu Province, according to Ottoman records.
His green-tinged blue eyes seemed to have taken the blond hair from the autumn leaves from the Daharos Bay. Combined with her light white skin, the most prominent blond hair became both a name and a nickname in Turkmen dialect: "Yellow Seyin"...
CELLO and GÜLLÜCE
When there was a landslide in Osman (Kale) Village, they went a thousand meters to the northeast and migrated to the village of Cello. Only his father's name remained, Hasan Düzü. There was a landslide in Cello, too, and they crossed over to the other side of the Hill. The cemetery remained the only common point of the old and new settlements. They called it Güllüce.
YELLOW SHINE and SMILE
As it has been for 700 or 7000 years, young people would start a family in the region. The Küre Mountains, between the Köroğlu Mountains and the Canik and Ilgaz Mountains, made it difficult to enter from the outside as well as to get out from the inside. They took refuge in these rugged mountains from the Mongol persecution. From Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand. (Daughter of Ali and Döndü) married Gülsüm. She was also officially born on the first of July, but she was 15 years younger. Births in this circle are either January one or June or July one.
TWO GIRLS FOUR BOY
Like the future structure of the family, the boys probably came upon two girls. He was planting Tepe in the village, but he actually built a house in Bostan. The wooden house looked cute. The house of his grandson, Cemal Usta, nicknamed "general", was built in the same place. A happy life began with two girls and four boys.
TWO BRIDES FOUR SOLDIERS
It must be because of two girls, Ahmet was born first, he got married at a young age, they were drafted in the first years of his marriage. He was martyred. It is not known whether it was Tripoli or the Balkan War. His son's eyes were closed from neglect. They said "Blind Ahmet".
It was Mehmet who was born later, and they recruited him into the army. Even at a young age, she did not have the opportunity to marry. The news came, he was also martyred. The rumor was frozen in the war… Sarikamis? Who knows? It is still unknown.
The next was Mustafa. He was born in 1891. He was also drafted into the army at a very young age… As far as is known, he was drafted into the army without sweating. He was martyred in Çanakkale when he was 25 years old. Topbaşı, on 14 July 1915. He was put in the tomb before he died. Maybe their birth order was reversed.
“YELLOW THING WAS ALONE BY YOU”
Hasan was the last son of Sarı Seyin… He was born on 01.06.1906. Since he was the 8th individual in the population register, he should have had two older sisters. He received the November Subpoena. He had not yet completed the age of 15 when this decision was made in May. When he was drafted from Tepe, his father could not say goodbye to Sarı Seyin, and his father could not salute him. He came running from the plateau. His last son was also gone…
Yellow Seyin was left all alone, said Granny Cört: “Son, Sarı Seyin galdu alone.” He had seen three centuries, but his voice sounded like it was 10 centuries ago… He was reproachful to Gazi Üvez Ali, who had served in the military for 22 years: “Hotur hotur hortlayacusa, everyone was a martyr, you in Sakarya You escaped from the hands of the enemy.” Üvez Ali was his father. He escaped from captivity.
Since it was said that "Gıraç married Garu", Gülsüm had also passed away. According to the saying "Yellow Seyin is a lonely galdu", the girls got married, all the men were drafted into the army, and Gülsüm had emigrated from this land.
“TWO HASANS ARE COMING”
With the Mudanya Agreement on November 22, 1922, the fruits of the Sakarya Pitched Battle began to be reaped. The enemy had poured into Izmir. The country was saved. Independence was achieved step by step.
Gazi Üvez Ali was only in his early 40s, but his eyes were sharp and his voice was strong in response to his weakened body: turning to Güllüce, he called out: "Two Hasans are coming".
While the voice was repeated in echoes, Üvez Ali continued to shout: “Two Hasans are coming”… “Two Hasans are coming”…
Even though the voice that left their animals on their backs to look, echoed in his ears as "Two Hasans are coming" weakly, his heart was roaring like a millstone. Granny Cloth was still a young girl. “Seyit Sarı Seyin seyit”… “Two Hasans are Coming from Töngels, Kirens, Barracks”…
"FINAL SON"
Fall wasn't always cantor season, but sometimes it was harvest season. These two Hasans were also going to get married and be related to each other. Töngels, kirens, barberry, mountain ash, chestnuts were ripened and harvested in this season.
Father and son met on this hill: When he said “Bubam”, he broke the ice for the first time in his heart of the sad pride of being the father of three martyrs and a veteran, Sarı Seyin: “My son”.
Sarı Seyin was no longer alone… Hasan had come.
The homeland was not homeless.
The political war was over, but the economic war would continue for many years.
“THE PERIOD WAS MISSED, REGISTRATIONS MISSING, TIME IS CRITICAL”
It was almost a century later that his relatives first heard about Martyr Topçu Mustafa, one of the Küçük Süleymanoğulları, the son of Sarısey.
Twenty years ago, Granny Cört said: “Son, your Yellow Seyin galdu all alone”. That's when the villager started to speak Sarı Seyini…
Overlapping information…
First Granny Cört told me that all her four sons had been drafted into the army. That three of them were martyred.
Then, the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship gave the old and lower pedigrees as documents.
Blind Ahmet's father Ahmet was martyred, as were his brothers Mehmet and Mustafa. Hassan was back.
80 years later, he discovered the grave of one of his grandchildren, Kemal Usta Sarı Seyin, on the slopes of Oruç Tepe. It was surrounded by several oaks.
The period was hazy, records are incomplete, time is critical…
But the internet age was the enabler of the millennium. The records of one of the martyrs were found.

"THAT DAY"
“Shaykh al-Islam Fatwa”
“In 1915, when the month of Ramadan approached, Şeyhülislam Mustafa Hayri Efendi from Ürgüp issued a fatwa stating that the fighting soldiers were not obliged to fast during Ramadan, and it was emphasized that the soldiers fulfilled the greatest religious duty by defending the homeland.”
“Wednesday: The Day Ramadan Started”
This fatwa was conveyed to all army units by the Ottoman War Ministry. Chief of Staff of the 19th Division, Major İzzettin Bey, who was in Arıburnu on the Çanakkale Front on the first day of Ramadan in 1915; On 13 July 1915, he writes in his diary:
“We were busy at headquarters. Today is the first day of Ramadan, may God Almighty bless you with a fraction of its precedent, and for the sake of Ramadan, may our army be blessed with nusrat and happiness to the nation and country.
The information given in a report sent to the 19th Division is as follows:
“…4-A soldier martyred infantryman was given from artillery fire at night. A soldier is wounded…”
“Minister of War Kastamonu Enver Pasha”
“During the war, Enver Pasha was on an inspection trip to Syria. It was July. It was very hot and it was the month of Ramadan. Pasha inspected from very early in the morning until noon. At noon, in a garden, under the peach trees, the meal was prepared. Enver Pasha was invited to the table. They all sat at the table together. While the food was being distributed, Enver Pasha said that he was fasting. Since the army was on a campaign, a fatwa was given not to fast. But the Deputy Commander-in-Chief stated that he fasted instead of the whole army.”
“Thursday: Second and Last Day of Ramadan for Mustafa”
A Letter in Çanakkale Trenches 107 Years ago:
"My beautiful daughter, today is July 14, the second day of Ramadan. Sheikh al-Islam has issued a fatwa saying that you can fast. But I did not feel comfortable. I intended to fast. I found two root çiriş (a grass smaller than a leek) among the bushes at the time of sahur. Sahur with them. I dug new trenches during the day. I couldn't get thirsty. The attack increased. We couldn't get our heads out. In the evening, a soldier chanted the call to prayer. In the trench, the flasks went from hand to hand. Everyone broke their fast with water. I thought that only I was fasting. Turns out that the entire squad was fasting. Matara en The end came to me. It came to me, but I was ashamed of myself. All of my friends had fasted before sahur. I felt embarrassed towards my friends because I ate two çiriş. I cried that day, how can I repay my friends from Erzurum, Tokat, Sivas, who were martyred by fasting that day? I spilled…”.
Celal Sahir wrote in an article in those days; “Citizens!.. I went, I saw. The entire Gallipoli peninsula and the Anatolian coast of the Bosphorus across it became a homeland of self-sacrifice.”
One of those whose fasting lasted forever that day was Martyr Topçu Mustafa, one of the sons of Sarısey, from Küçük Süleymanoğulları. 14 July 1915…
Iftar was in heaven.
"THE THREE GUNS OF THE Apocalypse"
"The artillery shells fired by Topçu Kara Mehmet in 1659 and Mehmetoğlu Seyit Onbaşı on 18 March 1915 during the wars in front of Çanakkale during the Ottoman period affected the course of the wars. Artillery Kara Mehmet, Venetian navy, Seyit Corporal, Anglo-French joint navy crossed the strait. had prevented". Martyr Topçu Mustafa, one of the Küçük Süleymanoğulları Sons of Sarısey, was taking his place in the front trio next to Kara Mehmet and Seyit Corporal, representing the martyrs.
“ORUC TEPE MARTYRY OF YELLOW SEY”
These days, Sarı Seyin Oruç Tepe entered the frame after 107 years. It is getting ready to be festive with its flag that will fly proudly. The Village Headman, the association in the village, the Mayor of Şenpazar, another association in Cide joined hands, they want to make a martyrdom for Sarı Seyin Oruç Tepe.
In any case, the southern slope of the Hill belonged to these two Hasans. But when he went abroad, the nature revived and the ground remained in the forest.
The people of the village brought their own water under the leadership of the late Hacı Yakup Usta, the grandson of Sarı Seyyi. He allowed his road to be expropriated without ever taking a penny while giving his land. The Village Chamber and Mosque is being built by Sebahattin, the grandson of his philanthropist, Üvez Ali.
The eyes of our martyrs who took care of their state are in Kastamonu Governorate and Kastamonu Regional Directorate of Forestry…
The local people, who do not hesitate to sacrifice their children without being invaded, join hands with their state and nation in the local area and experience the enthusiasm where father and son meet.
“YELLOW SEYİN ORUÇ TEPE” deserves a Martyrdom.
Will "MARTYR" reach the date of 14 July 2022?
Our hope and excitement are far above bureaucratic obstacles.
We believe.
"YELLOW SEYİN ORUÇ TEPE Martyrdom" will reach.
