Can the USA, which serves the Jewish and Israeli Lobbies, have a chance to solve international problems?

I believe that it is very important to know the power of the Jewish diaspora in the world and their approach to the problems in the world, because wherever you go in today's world, you will see the footprints of the Jewish understanding and order. You witness that Jews are able to influence the societies they live in, especially in the fields of finance and trade. But how is this possible?

Some may explain this situation by saying that Jews believe in Judaism, one of the oldest Abrahamic religions, and that they existed in the world long before Christianity and Islam. They may mention that there was an ancient nationalism that held the Jewish nation together thousands of years before the concept of nation-state emerged. They may claim that the ideal and belief of one day returning to the land of their ancestors has always kept the members of the Jewish community together and alive. We can mention many such dynamics and factors as a justification. What is important is that the size of the Jewish community's sphere of influence in many issues that radically concern our world cannot be denied. 

We know that the Jewish population in today's world is around 15.3 million as of September 2022. According to current figures, the population of Israel is 8,655,535. The number of Jews in this population is approximately 7 million 80 thousand. Approximately 8.25 million Jews live outside Israel, 6 million of them in the USA and 2.25 million in other countries. France, home to about 500 thousand Jews, is the country where Jews live the most after Israel and the USA. France is followed by Canada (400 thousand), England (300 thousand), Argentina (200 thousand) and Russia (150 thousand). It is known that the Jewish population living in our country is around 15,000. Currently, the total Jewish population in the world is equivalent to approximately 0.2 per cent of the world population.

Jews, which correspond to 0.2 per cent of the world population, are an effective power especially in the USA. The largest lobbying organisation in the USA belongs to the Jewish community. Although some Jewish communities may bring up different discourses against Israel from time to time, in essence, it means the Jewish lobby. It means the Israel lobby. The Israel lobby, which appears as an umbrella concept, is referred to as pressure groups that act for the interests of every Jew living in different geographies, especially in Palestinian territories, and work in political, cultural, economic, religious, etc. fields. The aim of the Jewish lobby in the USA, which acts in parallel with the Israel lobby, is to influence the foreign policy and military operations of the USA in favour of Israel, and to ensure that operations that cannot be carried out by Israel alone, such as the invasion of Iraq and Syria, are carried out and financed directly by the USA on behalf of Israel. 

Former US President Richard Nixon, in an interview during his presidency, referred to the influence of the Jewish lobby on American politics as follows: "While the Arabs may have some legitimate complaints about my foreign policies, they need to understand that the Jews in America control the entire information and propaganda machinery. It must be taken into account that the Jews control the major newspapers, the film industry, radio and TV, and the major corporations." Yes, this was said by a former president who once occupied the most powerful seat in the United States. 

An ironic situation arises here. The USA is a hegemonic state ruling the world. After the Cold War, when the Soviet Union was forced to step aside, a world in which the US was the sole superpower was established. Even though the emergence of a balancing power against the USA is expected to emerge again with the rising China, the size of the USA's power level is beyond dispute. The fact that this gigantic state has succumbed to the Jewish community and the Israel lobby, and that the management of most key points is in the hands of Jewish Americans rather than Christian Americans, points to a reality that other countries should take into account in their relations with the USA. In spite of the Jewish lobby, it may be possible to make progress in US politics regarding the rights and interests of your own country with a very arduous endeavour.

Jews, who constitute approximately 2 to 3 per cent of the population in the United States, have been able to be more influential than many other ethnic lobbies and interest groups that are more populous than themselves. At this point, the fact that their members are not only Jews and that they receive support from many segments of the country has also been an important factor. According to Prof. Dr. John J. Mearsheimer and Prof. Dr. Stephen M. Walt, "What defines the lobby is not the religious or ethnic identity of its members, but their specific political agenda."

According to John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt, who have jointly analysed the Israel Lobby in the USA, it is mainly composed of two main organisations and the civil society organisations in their orbit. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) lobbies the US House of Representatives and the US Senate, formulating policy issues and playing the most influential role in their implementation. The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations (Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations), on the other hand, acts as a liaison between the Jewish community in the US and the US government, organising the Jewish communities' work with governments.

In addition, think tanks such as the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), the Hudson Institute and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINEP), where neo-conservative Neo-Con policies are developed, are financed as intellectual institutions of the Israel Lobby and are enabled to carry out their activities for the interests of Israel. Michael Rubin, who works at the "American Enterprise Institute", a branch of the Israel Lobby, is a person who, like other neo-cons, writes pro-Israel articles in The Wall Street Journal, The New Republic, National Review and The Weekly Standard, newspapers and magazines controlled by the Israel Lobby, who dares to justify the July 15th attempt in Turkey and in favour of the establishment of a country called Kurdistan. 

The fact that this Jewish community, which today accounts for about three per cent of the US population, dominates 60-70 per cent of the US economy makes everything more understandable. At the same time, this diaspora is able to put dynamics that can directly affect American elections and foreign policy into action when necessary. The fact that the majority of politicians, businessmen and statesmen who go to the USA from our country come into contact with the organisations and lobbies of this diaspora proves that the sphere of influence of the Jews extends to us and how wide and powerful it is. 

President Joe Biden, who is under the influence of the Israeli lobby, prefers to include names of Jewish origin in his cabinet for many important positions, especially the Presidencies of Foreign Affairs, Treasury and Justice, and does not hide that he is an ardent supporter of Israeli policies. As if these were not enough, he brought Alejandro Mayorkas to the Department of Homeland Security and Merrick Garland to the Department of Justice. Haines is the new US Director of National Intelligence. Ronald Klain was appointed White House Chief of Staff to the President of the United States. He appointed Wendy Sherman as Deputy Secretary of State and David Cohen as Deputy Director of the CIA. These are the ones we know. Believe me, what we do not know is at least twice as much as what we know.
