East Turkestan and Crimea: Illusions in Muslims
On December 6, 2019, in Istanbul, there was the Bilge Transcending Ages WISE IMAMI AZAM EBU HANİFE; Information Feast organized by the Maturidi Yesevi Lodge and the Crimean Tatar Turks Association. On December 6, 2019, in Istanbul, there was the "Bilge Transcending Ages WISE IMAMI AZAM EBU HANİFE" Information Feast organized by the Maturidi Yesevi Lodge and the Crimean Tatar Turks Association. Twelve faculty members came together with the coordination of my teacher Ali Duman and the devoted efforts of my brothers in Otağ, and the book was published. Now it is time to read Imam Maturidi in the same way.
Here, by making a presentation about Abu Hanifa and his ethical political attitude;
Hanafi fiqh Maturidi akaidi Yesevi culture is an effort to understand the functioning of the Muslim mind outside the Shiite-Salafi conflict, and it aims at the Geophilosophical interpretation of the lineage link by refusing to provide legitimacy by presenting the economic political war of the Arab Salafi mind with the name of Sunnism and the Persian mind with the name of Shiism as a sectarian conflict. ;
While understanding the troubles of 45 million Shiite/Jafari Turks, to focus on the practices towards East Turkestan and the Crimea and the reasons for the indifference of the Muslim peoples;
I stated that I prioritized reinterpreting the geopolitical position and historical foundations of Southern Turkestan, which is now called Afghanistan-Pakistan, but which is actually a line of Silk Road, which was once the axis of civilization, from a philosophical point of view.
Again in this context, “National Turkistan Case: Pax Turkistan: What is going on in East Turkestan?” In the context of the question, Prof. Dr. Esat Arslan, Dr. Talking about the panel we held with Abdullah Manaz, I brought up the finding that the Muslim mind is stuck when there are problems experienced by the Turkish-speaking Ummah.
Turkish-Speaking Ummah/Who Will Cry For You?
The post of our teacher Cemal Kurnaz dated December 9, 201 sums up everything. "O Turkish-Speaking Ummah/Who Will Cry For You? Insincerity and hypocrisy have never shown themselves so much. Our Islamists are cross-eyed, they do not see anything. Everything is fake. If we cry, we cry politically. Is it just Palestine, the Arab street? Why is the interest shown in Arakan denied to Turkish-speaking Muslims? This is a learned silence. There is a teacher for this. Who are your teachers? Is it because Sezai didn't write them? Don't you? Don't you read our Akif too? How can those who cannot unite the ummah, those who discriminate, talk about tawhid? "
An Example of Cleavage of Consciousness: East Turkestan
In these two academic events, it became clear that the split in consciousness among Muslim peoples was clearer when Turkestan became. We reach the public through the Maturidi-Yesevi Lodge and the Reds Association, non-governmental organizations that support the Çorum Intellectuals Hearth and these places.
As Çorum Intellectuals Hearth, Philosophy and History Society, our main goal is; In the context of the History of Turkish Thought course at Hittite University, the idea of the connection between the two ends of the Silk Road, which was the axis of civilization, namely Turkey and Turkistan, is to make studies that will contribute to the cooperation in terms of language and trade.
Silk Road; It's on the agenda again
As it is known, a major program was started in 1988 with the decision of UNESCO, titled The Great Silk Road: The Dialogue of Nations. With this, the famous researcher of Central Asian art G.A. As Pugachenkova states, this project is “symbol of the world's conviction that in order to counter the destructive forces of enmity and warfare, an integration of all humanity is necessary for the peaceful development of various countries and nations, their political systems and ideologies.
It will play an important role in world politics, holding an isthmus extending from the inner part of Eurasia from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea, 4500 km eastward to Yenisei, and the heartland extending from the North Pole to Turkey in the south. No naval power can resist this land domination. (Süha Göney, Political Geography, Istanbul. 1993, p.27-28) In this context, if a qualified cooperation and harmony can be achieved between us, Inner Asia and Front Asia, the whole (East/West-South) Turkestan geography has underground and In terms of above-ground resources, great economic developments can be achieved. Thus, Turkey and its sister states can become important actors in determining world politics from a strategic point of view.
Turkistan and Indifference
In order to evaluate our project of relocating philosophy in Anatolia from a geo-philosophical point of view, first of all, our indifference about Turkestan needs to go away: Turkestan, the region where Turks live, used a very large area especially for Inner Asia in the VI century, while in the IX-X centuries we used the Middle Europe from the Idil-Volga.
It started to be used for the Caspian and Hungarian countries stretching back. The places that are said to be the north of Afghanistan today, that is, the region where the cities of Belh, Feryap and Kunduz are located. The region from Badakhshan to Herat is South Turkestan; We never bring up the existence of the Turkish States that were historically established in this region since the Ghaznavids. However, this region is also known as Southern Turkestan among the people, since it is the south of the Greater Turkestan geography, where Turks live, from the Urals to the Hindikus mountains.
If we go back to history, the lands of the Egyptian slave state were also called Turkey. Central Asia has an important geographical position in the world in terms of being a bridge and a transition zone between Eastern and Western cultures. According to the Land Domination Theory, these are the heart of the world.
The other end of the fertile lands between the rivers of Transoxiana (Sirderya, which was once called Seyhun, Ceyhun, that is, Amuderya), which is mentioned as the Fertile Crescent in the Bible and extends from one end to the Fergana valley and the other to Anatolia, is Turkestan, which is called Ata meken. Let's remember that ancient Turkish cities such as Bukhara and Samarkand, Amuderya, Otrar/Farab, Yesi and Savran were also founded on the Sirderya line. Ceyhan and Seyhan, also called Mesopotamia, the most important region of Çukurova, through Horasan, reaching up to the Euphrates and Tigris rivers. Considering that the places described as pearls in Göktürk monuments are the places between Taşkent and Fergana, the importance of the region emerges from every aspect.
When we say Turkistan-Turkey, we mean the examination of the intellectual and political movements in the most fertile regions of the ancient world and the contribution of the Oghuz people, who are the “Urban Turks”, to the accumulation of humanity. Considering that Ceyhun has been the border between Iranian and Turan generations since ancient times and wars of sovereignty have been fought, the historical basis of today's struggles may become a little clearer. Also, paying attention to the fact that these names are put exactly in the names of villages, neighborhoods, towns and cities in Anatolia for the continuation of individual consciousness, it turns out that Turks are actually always in a geo-philosophical consciousness.
China's East Turkestan Policy
Now, in this context, let me give you the wisdom that I presented at the seminar at the Çorum Turkish Hearth Branch on 14/12/2018 on the geo-political position of East Turkestan: Geographically, there are two important obstacles between China's communication with the West. These are the huge 5000 km long Taklamakan Desert and the Great Wall that spans the entire border of China.
In this respect, East Turkestan is beyond the desert and behind the embankment, and in this respect, it is China's window to the West. The effect of geographical location on politics and the fact that geographically advantageous regions are also strategically advantageous make East Turkestan indispensable for China.
For this reason, instead of withdrawing from the occupied East Turkestan lands and allowing an independent state to be established there, China is trying to force the local people to accept the occupation with pressure and violence. On the other hand, it keeps the region away from the world agenda as much as possible by abolishing all kinds of freedom, including the freedom of information and communication, and turning East Turkestan into a closed box.
These lands, which constitute the westernmost point of China, were used by China as a buffer zone against the Soviet threat during the Cold War period. In this respect, any step that China will take for the said lands directly concerns the security and stability of both itself and the countries in the region.
It is not possible to explain China's interest in East Turkestan solely by geo-strategic concerns. This region also has rich underground resources and its soils are very fertile.
31 new mining areas were discovered within the framework of 1,243 projects worth 7 billion 472 million yuan ($ 1 billion 230 million).
335 billion 700 million tons of coal reserves,
1 billion 100 million tons of iron reserves,
5 million 600 thousand tons of lead-zinc reserves and
260 thousand tons of tungsten-tin reserve
As can be seen, East Turkestan, also known as Kuwait of the 21st century, draws attention with its abundance of oil, natural gas, uranium, coal, gold and silver mines and is one of the most important raw material resources of China.
It is clear that East Turkestan will become the second important center of China in oil and natural gas production. Rich natural gas, coal and copper deposits make this region indispensable for the Chinese economy. 118 types of 148 types of mines extracted in the territory of China are located in the territory of East Turkestan. This accounts for 85% of China's total mines.
In addition to all these mines, the fact that East Turkestan is one of the largest cotton production centers in China is another reason for the importance of the region for China.
China's dependence on East Turkestan for energy is not limited to the oil resources in the Tarim Basin. Any Central Asian Turkish States, which are of vital importance for the Chinese industry, The natural route of the r pipeline will be East Turkestan. The surest way for such a transport system to be healthy and reliable for China is to have East Turkestan under its own control.
All these efforts are to make this region, which is one of the cornerstones of the Chinese economy, fully dependent on Beijing.
Conclusion: The importance of living the Hanafi-Maturidi teaching with the Yesevi culture should be updated as a teaching that does not use religion as a political tool, and that the liberation of the Muslim mind, which is held when the Turkish World is different, is different from the functioning of the Persian and Arab minds. These are things to be done in theory, but we can see what needs to be done in practice in the following statements of Kazakhstan Founding President Nursultan Nazarbayev:
With the realization of the "Union of Central Asian States (Turkestan)" project, maximum security and maximum integration with the world community can be achieved. With the participation of the Republic of Turkey, which was established in Asia Minor, the Silk Road Project can become a civilization axis once again.”
We can see this as an update of the Red Apple: Turan refers to Turkey and Turkistan when we think that the "Red Apple" envisions as the symbol of the historical ideal of the Turkish nation, that it does not mean a specific and fixed place, that the culture of each period redefines it with a concrete goal. We can say that it ensures the continuity of communication.
First of all, the Red Apple is repositioned when economic and cultural unity, language, business and consensus are ensured. This is what is meant by its continuity, that is, it always advances society within the framework of new ideals. This is actually to determine the distant goals of the Turkish World Domination.
