What are the Results of the Riyadh Summit?

The inability of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to put an end to Israel's aggression by invoking international law, as it has always done, was almost lost between the lines of the joint declaration as an expression of impotence. The UNSC continues to be dysfunctional in the form of a "Boat Fight".

There is no need to say anything else. To put it bluntly, the mountain gave birth to a mouse. In fact, it was expected. At the Extraordinary Joint Summit of the 57-member "Organization of Islamic Cooperation" and the 22-member "Arab League". However, this summit had been much hyped for days. It is absurd to expect anything more from those who advise "restraint". One feels like saying "What happened?" like Temel, but whatever. If you are obsessed with the idiom, let us tell you. "The mountain gave birth to a mouse." The phrase is found in all European languages. In Latin-based languages it is literally "the mountain gave birth to a mouse", while in Balkan languages it is "the mountain trembled and trembled and finally gave birth to a mouse". I think this is exactly what happened. Take a look at the decisions that came out of the joint summit, let's put it in just one word. "Brother, go away!" This is why Abu Ubaydah, for the first time last night, left out the phrase "O Arab and Islamic nation" in the introduction to his speech. He quite rightly said, "O our struggling, determined and proud people ... O free people of the world." (1)

However, I think it is worth mentioning that President Erdoğan made the most courageous speech at the joint summit to restore the international legal framework that has been rendered inoperative. President Erdoğan said, "Words are inadequate to describe what has happened to Gaza and Ramallah since October 7. We are facing an unprecedented barbarism in history, where hospitals, places of worship, schools, refugee camps, ambulances are bombed and civilians migrating to so-called safe areas are massacred. Children whose innocent bodies are lined up in rows in hospital corridors, mothers who died hugging the children they could not love and smell, fathers searching for their family members with their hands in buildings reduced to rubble, in short, the lives lost in attacks directly targeting civilians are the witnesses of the atrocity that has been going on for 36 days. The Israeli administration is taking revenge for the October 7 incident, which many of us do not find right, on Gazan babies, innocent Palestinian children and women." (2) As President Erdoğan said, October 7, 2023 is not an attack, but a reflex of resistance against the death, chaos, brutality, barbarism, ethnic cleansing and genocide that the Zionazis have been committing for 75 years. Yes, that is why October 7th is an event.

Let us now examine the 31-point joint declaration agreed upon by the heads of state and government of the member states of the OIC and the Arab League after the summit. But first, it is useful to make the following observation. In the timed genocide practiced by the US-backed Israel, can you say that you, the US-Israel, are not right, but the oppressed Palestinian people are right? We all know that the Western world, which gives all kinds of support to Israel, has been acting with this colonialist mentality for 75 years. In this context, despite all kinds of barbarism, the resurrection and resistance shown by the people of Gaza has turned the Zionist colonialist calculations upside down and the world public opinion has started to stand behind the Palestinian people.

Let's talk about the declaration. First of all, the declaration states that all the resolutions adopted by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League regarding the Palestinian cause and all other occupied Arab territories are confirmed. If anyone has seen their implementation, please step forward. The statement also reiterated that the United Nations and all other international organizations have adopted resolutions on the Palestinian cause, the crimes committed by the occupying Israel and the freedom and independence of the Palestinian people in all of its territories, which have been under occupation since 1967 and constitute a single geographical unit. One cannot help but ask, since that day, our Palestinian brothers and sisters do not even have any land left to call their own. The hyenas are waiting for lies and lies. 100 percent of the Jewish occupiers in Israel support the genocide in Gaza. Because they know that they are 'settler colonizers' just like the other thieving, looting, genocidal and massacring Americans. They know very well that if they cannot wipe the Palestinians off the map, they themselves will disappear and the Zionist colonialist project will fail. That is why they take sadistic pleasure in indiscriminately massacring, expelling and wiping out all Palestinians from the map and history. (3) The two-state solution of May 14, 1948, the State of Palestine's 43 percent of the 11,000 km2 of land is only 10 percent, much to the appetite of the rabid terrorist occupying settler hyenas.

It was emphasized in the declaration that the UN General Assembly welcomed the resolution adopted by the 10th Emergency Special Session on October 27, 2023, at which 120 countries voted in favor of the resolution against 14 votes of rejection by the US and its cohorts, and continued as follows: (4)

"Reaffirming the centrality of the Palestinian cause, we stand with the brotherly Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle to liberate all occupied territories with all our energies and capacities and to fulfill all their inalienable rights, in particular the right to self-determination and the right to live in an independent, sovereign state established on the June 4, 1967 borders with Jerusalem al-Sharif as its capital, We reaffirm that the establishment of a just, lasting and comprehensive peace, including a strategic option, is the only way to guarantee the security and stability of the peoples of the region and to protect them from the cycle of violence and war, and that this cannot be achieved without ending the Israeli occupation and resolving the Palestinian cause on the basis of a two-state solution. "(4)

It's a utopian description and that's all there is to it, don't say that's all there is to it.  Thomas More's "Utopia", which means "the place that does not exist" in Greek. Although the word "bypassed" is used in the text, but if you ask me, the "Palestinian cause", which is the sine qua non of regional peace, has been bypassed as always and the rights of the Palestinian people have been ignored. The fact that the violence was directed against the rights of the Palestinian people and the Islamic and Christian holy sites was included in the declaration was seen as a positive development. The inability of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to put an end to Israel's aggression by putting international law into action, as it has always done, was almost lost between the lines of the joint declaration as an expression of impotence. As it is known, the UNSC continues to be dysfunctional in a complete "Boatman's Fight". In fact, the collective West has been aggressively abusing its "Veto" right for a long time. This is, as RF Foreign Minister Lavrov put it in the title of his article, "The Parochial Line of the Western Minority". Of course, it is not only that, but also a line of aggression. The whole point is to abolish and abolish the unjust order.

One of the most important distinguishing features of the declaration is the call for the whole world to 'stop exporting arms and ammunition' to Israel. It called on all states to stop exporting arms and ammunition used by the occupation authorities, its army and terrorist settlers to kill the Palestinian people and destroy their homes, schools, mosques and churches. The tender for 24,000 M16 US-made rifles to be given to the murderous terrorist settlers was stopped. An example of hypocrisy. It is as if the US did not establish a Military Mission under the leadership of Lieutenant General James Glynn, the Butcher of Fallujah. As if they don't bring weapons and ammunition of blood-spewing death to Ben Gurion Airport every day.

The communiqué, as usual, goes a little beyond the word restraint and settles for the word condemnation. While condemning Israel's aggression against the Gaza Strip and the war crimes and barbaric, brutal and inhuman massacres committed by the colonial occupation government against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, the statement rejects the pretextual characterization of Israel's aggression against Gaza as "retaliation" or "self-defense" and demands an immediate halt. (4)

"We request the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to complete the investigation into the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Israel against the Palestinian people in all occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem," the statement read. The leaders also authorized the OIC and Arab League General Secretariats to establish a legal monitoring unit to document Israel's crimes in the Gaza Strip since 7 October 2023, to prepare legal arguments on violations, and to establish digital media platforms to expose Israel's illegal acts and inhumane practices. (4)

It is vital that the watchdogs produce "Case Studies" with legal arguments in line with the demands of the law to prosecute the United "Zionazi Governments" of the US and Israel, which is of great importance for the future.

One of the most striking sentiments of the declaration is the threat of nuclear weapons by Israeli ministers. The declaration condemns hateful, extremist and racist acts and rhetoric, including the threat by an Israeli minister to use nuclear weapons against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and states that these acts and rhetoric pose a serious threat to global peace and security.  It also recommended that "a conference be convened within the framework of the UN to transform the Middle East into a region free of nuclear weapons and all other weapons of mass destruction and to put combating this threat on the agenda". So, we should ask again, "What is the meaning of the US bringing its nuclear submarine to the region?" The declaration calls for an investigation into Israel's use of chemical weapons, the second pillar of weapons of mass destruction. This is a very correct approach. "We condemn Israel's rhetoric and threats to return Lebanon to the 'stone age' and call on the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to investigate Israel's use of chemical weapons to prevent escalation of the conflict." (4)

But let's not forget that apart from the declaration, there is a favor from the US to the Palestinian people. "4 hours a day break in the massacre" for deportation and exile. The White House has graciously announced that Israel has agreed to suspend attacks for 4 hours a day to allow civilians in the northern part of the blockaded Gaza Strip to leave. The "Exile & Deportation" Resolution, one of the most serious crimes against humanity, is presented as a blessing. John Kirby, Coordinator of Strategic Communications at the White House National Security Council, told reporters that Israel would announce 3 hours in advance every 4-hour break in the attacks to allow civilians in northern Gaza to leave the area. Alas, what a shame. The most crucial point of the Expulsion and Displacement Resolution is that it allows Palestinians to "leave the area unharmed". Kirby, the White House National Security Council's Coordinator for Strategic Communications, has graciously offered the Palestinian people "a step in the right direction at this time, especially in terms of helping civilians reach safer areas away from the fighting"(5).

What about the "humanitarian corridor" and the "ceasefire"? This question was also asked to Kirby. Interestingly, he answered this question in the following way:

"He merely reiterated that the United States believes that this is still not the right time to do this on the grounds that Hamas would benefit from it." (5)

Our last few words will be for those who are hoping for help from Hezbollah in Lebanon. It must be said in advance that Iran and Hezbollah are cowering and trying to turn the crisis into an opportunity. Let's not forget that their power is not enough for anyone other than Muslims, and I don't want to say Sunni to emphasize discrimination. The presence of Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria has always been against Turkey. The reason for the bloody clashes between Hezbollah and Syria's paramilitary organization Amal, an Alawite organization, is this political hyena logic. It is to use every crisis as an opportunity. For more than a decade, Hezbollah, Iran and the RF have killed hundreds of thousands of Muslims to protect the Syrian regime. The goal is also clear. The aim is to prevent Turkey from destroying the Assad regime and prevent it from bordering Israel. One of the main reasons why the US trained and equipped the Syrian PeKaKaKa and set up ISIS and Al-Qaeda as a studio project and dragged Afghanistan and the Middle East into bloodshed, oppression and instability was for these days. Look, there is no Iraq, no Syria, no Syria, no Egypt, no Jordan, no Saudi Arabia, no Libya. It is as if they have all become provinces of Israel. Sisi and other leaders cannot even breathe without Israel's orders. (6)

After all this, it is regrettable to say that it is the Palestinian people, left alone, who will have the final showdown with the raging packs of hyenas. The reason is the Arab people, who are frightened by the embargo and blockade and cannot move. Unfortunately, dear readers, the Palestinian cause has never been the national cause of either the Islamic Ummah or the Arab nation.
