When does come the end of the domination of the mighty one?

The Israeli attacks on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023 and continue to this day, have killed around 15,000 civilians, including nearly 6,000 children. The number of injured is unclear. These figures, which are a clear indication that Israel has declared war not on Hamas, but on Gaza and indeed on the entire Palestinian people, reveal that this is not an operation, but a regional genocide. The US support for these attacks, which were carried out indiscriminately by Israel, which gained legitimacy with Hamas' foolish and unprovoked attack on Israeli territory, led to an increase in civilian casualties. Civilian casualties as a result of this operation have not only further damaged Israel's record, but also the record of the US-backed world, which calls itself democratic but fails not only in democracy but also in humanity. The world order, whose credibility has been damaged and international organizations, especially the United Nations, whose ineffectiveness has been proven, have suffered value erosion on behalf of humanity. With the idea that there is no power that can stop it, Israel is taking firm steps towards continuing its policy of expanding its territories, which it started in the 20th century, in the 21st century. After Gaza, US-backed Israeli operations are likely to take place in the West Bank, Syria and Lebanon, which affect Israel's security. Although the next target is seen as Iran by some and Turkey by others, it is much more likely that Israel and the US will turn their attention to the Eastern Mediterranean. 

For Israel, the Gaza Strip is a piece of territory that needs to be won. At the same time, the importance of the Gaza strip in terms of maritime jurisdiction in the Eastern Mediterranean should not be overlooked. It should not be forgotten that Israel's exclusive economic zone in the Eastern Mediterranean will expand and its share of the natural resources to be extracted will increase due to the absence of Palestinian land on the coast. In this context, an agreement similar to Turkey's maritime jurisdiction agreement with Libya could have been reached with the Palestinian Authority for the Gaza Strip before the war broke out, but it is too late.

It is clear that the November 23 break will not lead to a ceasefire, it will only be a short break and will not end the war. It is optimistic to think that Israel will stop until the goal of a complete takeover of Gaza is achieved. What needs to be considered and evaluated here is why the spark for this war was lit by Hamas. It is strange that Hamas could not foresee that Israel would react to Hamas' attacks in such an asymmetrical manner. With this action, Hamas not only harmed the people of Gaza and Palestine, but also legitimized Israel's operation and, in a way, played into Israel's hands by paving the way for Israel's expansion. 

Hamas has gained the support of its own society on the assumption that it will fight against Israel and has the power to destroy it. The erroneous policies of the powerless, who present themselves as powerful to their own societies, lead to the self-destruction of that society through others. In this context, Hamas' Gaza faces the same fate as Saddam Hussein's Iraq. 

Russia was the country that actually started the years of the domination of the powerful with its operation in Ukraine. In 2023, Israel initiated a similar domination of power. The righteous of that day, who did not find Russia's operations humane and stood against them, have become unjust, forgotten humanity and failed in class by remaining silent and even supporting the Israeli bombings, which are carried out indiscriminately, without targeting mosques, hospitals, children and children.

The world has once again seen in the examples of Russia and Israel that in these times, if you are not strong militarily, economically and technologically, you will fall under the domination of the strong and no one can protect you.

If it were not for Turkey's guarantorship and power in the Cyprus problem, who would have prevented the Greeks, with the support of the West, from carrying out genocidal operations against the Turks similar to what Israel is doing in Gaza? 

No one. 

Today, in this conjuncture, if minorities are not under the domination of the majority and power, it is not because of universal values such as democratic order, human rights and law, but because of the ability of a larger power to protect a smaller one.

In short, the domination of a power can only be prevented if and only if a stronger power demonstrates its power when necessary.
