Why should we call "Turkeli"?

Turkish Nation is very dynamic and fluent in terms of life. No borders can be drawn and walls cannot be built against the Turks. Turks, as the defenders of the universal values ​​of right, truth and justice throughout history, have wanted to make these supreme values ​​dominant on earth. In line with this ideal, the Turkish Nation, which has succeeded in striking the Turkish seal on a very, very wide geographical area (especially the Asian, European and African Continents), is one of the rare nations on earth in this sense.

The Turkish Nation, which has a very deep history of thousands of years, has created its own culture in this historical process. As a result of their unique dynamic and fluent character, Turks have behaved tolerantly while interacting with other societies and different cultures that they come into contact with in a wide geography.

Turkish culture, rising on the pillars of human dignity, truth, justice, state organization and tolerance, has been widely accepted and permanent in every geography it has reached. Turkish culture has formed the basis of universal high (moral) values, which are the common property of humanity. Although the existence of Turkish and Turkish culture in the European Continent, which has a history of more than a thousand years, is a fact; Today, this truth is almost ignored and ignored by the Western powers. As defined in written and visual works in geographical, historical and cultural contexts, generally based on Western references, Turkistan consists only of the geography to the east of the Caspian Sea. It is not possible to accept this definition, which serves the denial, singular, exploitative and genocidal-based politics of the West. We are witnessing a similar approach being exhibited by the power rising from the East today. With this really moving; Today, we have to redefine and name the Turkish Historical and Cultural Geography in accordance with the truth.

What should we understand from the word "Turkeli"?

In my opinion, we can call the whole of Turkish History and Cultural Geography TURKEY. This nomenclature is the top noun and adjective word in terms of conceptual and encompassing all the parts that make up the whole. TÜRKELİ; It is a concept that has human, historical, cultural and geographical dimensions rather than political. In an other saying; It is the most correct and most appropriate noun and adjective word that can be used to indicate the geographies where Turks and/or Turkish Culture continue their existence in a historical depth from past to present.
If TÜRKELİ is accepted as the name of a whole whose dimensions are detailed above; it is natural that this whole will have a geographical center and other main parts surrounding this center. When viewed from this angle; Turkey Headquarters is Turkeli. That is, geographical divisions; It can be named as Central Turkeli, East Turkeli, West Turkeli, North Turkeli and South Turkeli. Such a geographical definition is also historically and culturally important. Because the other (different) cultures with which each of these parts interacted in the past and still, and the historical processes they lived with those cultures are also quite different from each other. Generally; Russian and Chinese Culture in the East, Arab Culture in the South and European (Western) Culture in the West are in a historically deep interaction process with Turkish Culture in the relevant parts.

Today, when the people of TÜRKELİ are faced with a very difficult test; It is a fundamental reality that the common historical and cultural awareness forms the basis of every step to be taken in the context of maintaining peace and stability and increasing welfare in TÜRKELİ. Different states formed by individuals with this consciousness and awareness will make a greater contribution to humanity in the preservation and development of regional and global peace. The peoples of the separate states in the Turkeli geography will have gained a significant depth in terms of commercial and economic dimensions as well as in terms of psycho-social power. Thanks to this depth; It will be possible to take a deterrent and honorable stance against exploitative, hegemonic and monopolistic powers.

The concept of TÜRKELİ categorically rejects racism. It aims for different peoples and individuals with different cultures to live together in an environment of peace and tolerance. For the benefit of all humanity, the preservation of peace and stability and the promotion of welfare are the basic conditions. The realization of all these will be very closely related to the processes that will be experienced in the geography of TÜRKELİ today, as it has been throughout history. The basic elements of Turkish Culture, which has taken root in the TÜRKELİ geography for thousands of years, should be remembered and reminded again. I believe that we should remove the historical, geographical and cultural concepts, definitions and namings that colonialist, hegemonic, genocidal and monopolistic powers put forward against the people of TURKEY by distorting and ignoring the facts, first from our minds and then from our books, and replace them with correct definitions.

As a result; An inclusive and deep structure that connects its people to the geography they live in with the bond of history and culture and forms the basis of a sense of belonging. The word TÜRKELİ is already present in our minds as the most important concept to be considered in this context.
