Shiba Inu. Animal Love.
Peach left us recently. She was cute, she used to wake me up at the crack of dawn, running around with a cheerful expression on her face. Peach is a Shiba Inu, a Japanese breed.
I love animals very much. I think this love comes from my family. My mother also loved animals very much.
Of course, you can understand her, she spent her childhood and youth in the village.
I didn't live in a village, but I inherited this love.
The other members of the family have the same love, maybe I should even say that some of ours have it more than others.
If you ask where this subject came to your mind, it was more than a week ago that the cute dog I named Peach, whom the older girl had brought home temporarily from a friend of hers, left the house.
Suddenly I felt that I missed Peach.
Her friend is back from traveling and naturally Peach left us recently.
She was cute, she woke me up at the crack of dawn, running around with a cheerful expression on her face.
Peach is a Shiba Inu, a Japanese breed.
I think he looks more like a fox than a dog. But his tail is not long and fluffy like a fox, it curls upwards for some reason.

Of course, it's not easy to keep a dog at home, you have to take it out morning and evening. Not to mention his special food and my slippers that he shreds afterwards.
I don't think this one was very smart either, he didn't understand sit, he didn't understand lie down, but he loved to play.
And he loved to run to the door and make himself loved by whoever came to the door. He was very spoiled and he would coddle everyone, it didn't matter who it was.
Before I forget, I also liked the way he jumped up and down on his hind legs during the game.
He knew how to walk on his hind legs like a human being.

We don't have pets at home anymore since our cats passed away.
My wife loves animals as much as I do, but I think the untimely deaths of the cats affected her a lot and she doesn't want animals in the house anymore.
She had a bit of a reaction to Peach at first, but she quickly got used to Peach.
Peach was very cute after all.
***
I say we don't have pets at home anymore, because it's hard to have pets at home.
Cats are very cute and they say they don't have many problems, but they have many problems of their own. At least they shed, you have to sweep the house all the time.
***
If you have a pet, you know that it is a member of the household. It has needs just like you and me. You will fulfill their needs, pets need attention.
They don't exist to entertain you, they exist because that's their way of life, even if they are ornamental animals.
Peach was a smiling animal because she had a lovely nature. The purpose of the smile on his face was not to amuse us. It was cute in its natural state.

Some people bring animals home from the street because they feel sorry for them, because they are in need of help.
Indeed, our streets are full of stray pets in need of help, maybe injured, or at least not used to feeding themselves.
There are also those who feed these stray pets on the streets. But for how long, there are more and more animals on the streets.
***
This is not yet the case in Russia.
Most Russian citizens have a dog at home, for example, and there are not many people who keep cats like we do.
But you won't see any stray animals on the streets.
Maybe it is because it is a cold country, maybe the municipality collects them immediately, I didn't pay much attention.
For some reason, you don't see stray animals roaming the streets here. Maybe only in the dacha, and even then, the pets that are out for a walk come and endear themselves to you, and after standing next to you for a while, they leave.

Turkey is an animal paradise, everywhere you look there is a cat or a dog.
Our people love animals, but more often they bring an animal home for their children, and when the child grows up, it is either difficult to take care of it or after a while it becomes a problem to take care of it at home and they let it out on the streets.
This is how much our people love animals.
As if that dog has the ability to feed itself in the forest, they also release most of them into the forests.
Have we left any living creatures in the forests, let's say that the pet will somehow get used to wild life, will it be able to hunt and feed itself in the forest?
Of course they go hungry!
***
Some people complain that the pets released into these forests, especially dogs, form gangs among themselves and attack people.
Yes, it is in the nature of dogs to be packs.
When they are hungry, there are definitely those who come to the city in packs.
Of course they attack people too, what can a hungry animal do?
But most of them are in a poor condition.
They don't have the ability to feed themselves by hunting and many of them die of starvation in the forests.
They are emaciated with hunger.
In urban areas, especially in parks full of cats, poor cats are trying to feed themselves by digging through garbage in the streets.

I've been thinking for a long time, should we let animals live their own lives?
Should we not keep any ornamental animals in our homes?
I'm not talking about the ones we have now, I'm talking about people giving up the habit of keeping pets in principle.
It seems to me that we are adopting pets too much for no reason.
Let's leave them alone.
Nature will find a balance somehow.
Yes, they are very cute. I, for example, am happy when an animal like Peach is at home.
But it's not about me being happy!
She has a life of her own.
Maybe she wants to live her own life too. Do we know that?
Let them live how they know how.
I don't have much to say to those who fill their houses with animals, I think what they do is a very holy thing.
However, from my point of view, it seems like they are actually doing more harm to animals than good. They are interfering with the nature of animals.
If they have a disability and want to cure it, that's fine, but I think it would be better if they at least let them return to their natural habitat after they recover.
I say that, but if it's an animal with a permanent disability, you have to keep it at home, I understand that too.
At least it would be good to say goodbye to a healthy animal when the time comes.
I think we should gradually abandon the habit of keeping animals at home.
***
Well, what about their natural habitat, there is no such thing as a natural habitat in big cities! I have already written about the state of ornamental animals left in forests.
Even if we want to say goodbye to pets so that they can live in a truly natural environment in big cities, what are we going to do?
Let's go somewhere rural and release them there!
Could this be a solution?
If you want to be honest, it is not that easy for a pet that has gotten used to the home environment to get used to the natural environment again.
In fact, I think it's impossible if they're used to us from a young age.
I guess we have to keep one or two at home without overdoing it.
If we want them to be a member of the family, then they deserve to be treated like family members.
You can't just let them loose in the forests and on the streets when you get bored. We have to take care of them.
But turning the house into a zoo is not good for our own mental health.
***
Let's slowly stop keeping pets.
Let's create natural habitats for them. Let them live their lives as they are.
If we really want to, we can go and pet them in their natural habitat. It seems to me that this would be the right way up the mountain.
I don't know, that's what I think.
I salute all my animal lover friends.
But I really miss Peach.
I'll ask the older girl to ask if her friend is not planning to go on a trip somewhere again.
Love and respect to everyone from Moscow.
