The candidate of the national alliance has been announced.

CHP Chairman Mr Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was thought to be unable to win on his own, became the 13th Presidential candidate of the Nation alliance together with his friends.

Finally.

Mr Kemal has achieved this not only with the parties of the alliance he is a part of, but also with two rising values within the party who could be his rivals and whose names are frequently mentioned in the polls. He became the winner of the process and probably of the next election. He showed that managing this process is not for every father. It was very important for him to succeed in this process and he succeeded with democratic leadership. 

Finally.

The second major partner of the alliance, Ms Meral Akşener, the President of the Good Party, took her place in history as another winning political actor. On the one hand, she showed her nationalist and patriotic nature with her objections, on the other hand, she never lost her conciliatory attitude. In a way, she did what MHP Chairman Mr Devlet Bahçeli could not do at the time. He acted in a way that his base expected from him, and he quickly turned himself from the image of a person who destroys, turns or is destroyed to a person who makes history. He has travelled a very important path towards becoming the main representative of the right-wing bloc of the future.

Finally.

The fact that the leaders of the parties forming the Nation's Alliance have become Vice-Presidents has created a great advantage for parties other than the CHP and the İyi Party, which seem to have a vote potential of around 2-3 per cent. In my previous post on the possible Millet Alliance cabinet, I had given one ministry each to the smaller parties of the alliance. The fact that the leaders will be given the Vice Presidency instead of these ministries and that at least one ministry will be given to each party is Mr Kemal's political generosity. The political reflection of this generosity will cause the grassroots of these parties to work very hard during the election period. The fact that their leader and an influential name are in the cabinet is an important motivation for these parties and a well-thought-out policy, while it is not possible for them to get even a single MP outside the alliance.

Finally.

The fact that the mayors of IBB and ABB will move from local to general administration and act together is a gain for both of them. In the event that one of them is preferred, the other one's farewell to the political arena or the decrease of his/her effectiveness is prevented in this way. In case of an election victory, the performance of these two mayors will reveal the leader of the CHP and possibly the leader of the future government.

Finally, after days and months, hope has risen and the footsteps of change have been heard. 

Finally, after 21 years, the possibility of a new political understanding to govern the country has increased.

Finally, a new unity has emerged that can play games, can break games, can apply political engineering, and knows politics. 

Finally, the unchanging picture of pessimism in the country has been replaced by optimism with the birth of change. 

Finally, tears began to form in the eyes not from pain and sadness, but from happiness and hope. 

For the President of the Republic, Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, if he is to be a candidate, the most difficult electoral process he has ever faced has begun. Against this new situation, he is likely to make many new and unexpected extreme political moves in the domestic and foreign political arena. Such moves by Erdoğan can only be fended off by the tight embrace of the components of the Millet alliance. 

If the Millet alliance can maintain this unity, the election is likely to end in the first round.
