How Unequal?

For some reason, this time again there are very few female candidates on the lists. I tried to count them one by one according to the parties, but there is no need, a quick glance will tell you that. In almost all parties, female candidates are much less than male candidates. I wonder why?

Yes, parties or alliances submitted their list of parliamentary candidates to the Supreme Electoral Board this Sunday.

Every channel immediately started discussing the candidates. I had to watch some of these discussions.

As expected, some of the candidates were upset, others withdrew into themselves in frustration, even if they could not say anything to the decision-makers.

I will not go into all these debates and disappointments.

Something else caught my attention.

For some reason, this time again, there are very few female candidates on the lists.

I wanted to count them one by one according to the parties, but there is no need, a quick glance will tell you that. In almost all parties, female candidates are much less than male candidates.

I wonder why?

Are the women not confident in themselves? Is that the reason?

Or do they want to be candidates but the general chairmen, who have the final say on the lists, say no, they can't?

Is there a belief that a male-dominated list would be much better?

If so, I think it is a wrong opinion.

Really, what do you think is the reason for this?

Politics is not for women!

Is that it?

Even the IYI Party list, which is headed by a lady, is a male-dominated list. This is astonishing in itself.

I would have expected at least the IYI Party to nominate more female MPs as candidates.

The general view of those who are mostly conservative is that the place of women is inside the house with the view that they are "women of the house".

However, this is not only the view of conservative men. I think many conservative women also hold this view.

I watched a debate on the internet between a conservative lady and a lady with a more secular view. Believe me, I was astonished when I saw how far their viewpoints diverged. I was expecting more of a program like "Oh these men".

Again, I want to go into this topic in depth, but I think some topics are like forty lines or forty mules, it is not clear who is right and who is wrong.

I guess it is not easy to deal with a mentality that thinks, "Isn't my husband my husband, he loves and beats me".

On the contrary, another extreme mentality that thinks that these men are impossible is not very different, of course. I am not talking about the ladies' discussion program.

There was no one on the program who said no to men.

In short, as I said, I think the ladies should first decide among themselves. What they want from life, how they want to live, they have to decide for themselves first.

Yes, there are inherent differences between us.

But these differences do not mean that we are not equal in terms of human rights.

But going back to the lists, I wish there were more women who had the courage to become MPs.

I think the problem is that there are not enough candidate candidates.

And the reason for this may be based on those inherent differences.

For some reason, women do not dare to be candidates.

Do you think there could be another explanation for so few candidates?

Masculine thinking is also a factor, of course, but I think if the women had insisted enough, I think there would not be a problem with more female candidates on the lists. I might be thinking wrong. I really don't know why there were so few female candidates.

Of course, I have enough experience in these matters to think like this. Because I spent a long period of my professional life in Russia.

Here, even in construction sites, female workers can easily work.

Even our tower crane operator was once a female employee. He was even much more successful than a male operator. Because he was using the huge tool very calmly.

In business life, women are much more active here. There are very few women here who sit at home and live off their husbands' money.

I mean, I think we don't have as much equality between men and women as we should even in the business world.

Now I don't want to go into the lower wages paid to women, the fact that women are not preferred because of issues such as maternity leave.

As I said, even though preferences in these matters are partly differences of creation, I think the issue is actually hidden in the wrong social perspective.

Maybe for some women in our country, it may even be convenient for men to work and take care of their families.

Or maybe it is a problematic perspective to think that only men are obliged to do military service.

Why don't women also have to do military service?

Okay, they are thin and delicate. They are weaker than men in terms of the use of brute force. However, if the issue is the homeland, perhaps women should also fulfill their patriotic duties, don't you think?

I can hear you saying don't go into these issues now, I know you are saying that you will get a reaction.

Mine was just a thought if the issue is equality.

Of course, I am not the only one in the world who thinks like this. As far as I know, there are some countries where women also do military service. If I am not mistaken, for example in Israel, women have to do military service.

I also remember a movie called "Jane the Soldier". Or "Jane's Victory". It's an old movie, but a good one. It came out in 1998, I think. It was a movie starring Demi Moore. If any of you haven't seen it, you should definitely watch it.

In the end, my general point of view on this issue is that we are all equal as human beings, even if we have differences in creation.

However, I would not like our women to be forced to do jobs that require brute force, such as military service.

Therefore, I am in favor of women. Let's let only men do military service.

There are some professions more suitable for women. Whatever their hearts desire, if they want, it may be better for them to turn to only those professions. In fact, I think that both physical competence and mentality are more than enough to do all professions.

Because we are EQUAL!

However, neither men have the right to put pressure or claim rights over women by claiming our natural differences arising from our creation, nor do women have the chance to get out of some jobs by saying that men should do everything in order to benefit themselves from the situation.

In short, I wish more women could be candidates for parliamentary seats.

Before I forget, the only way for everyone to be equal is for all of us to do politics, says a lady in politics.

What is the right word? I agree!

Love and respect to everyone from Moscow
