Is the King Naked?

“I saw many people without clothes, I saw many dresses without people in them!”

As long as you exist and breathe in life, we must always ask ourselves these three questions: Why? How? and why? Believe me, we can reveal that many of the facts in your life that you call true are false, or that there are many deficiencies in the truths imposed on you when you look from another dimension, only by asking these questions. This approach will help us to have depth in thinking and to find the right way as much as possible when we are in dilemma in the face of events. We should not be a cash buyer of anything that someone else is selling as true. We should ask ourselves questions, question, research and most importantly, avoid jumping headlong into almost anything like a carp. We should adopt the basic principle of following our decisions and our own truths that we will make of our own free will. We should know that acting as individuals is the first condition for the right steps to be taken by each of us to take the right steps collectively as a nation.

Within the framework of this basic view and approach, I would like to talk to you about the phrase "the king is naked", which also has a place in our daily lives. Before explaining this idiom, which is used in a story in ancient times, I would like to talk about some types of people that most of us come across today.

Our first question is: "Does man cease to be human?" Mevlana's; How meaningful is the phrase "I saw many people, there are no clothes on, I saw many dresses, there are no people in them", isn't it? Although human beings exist, is there no humanity left?

It is not a good sign for people to be naked, that is, not to have clothes on. The absence of people in clothes is a complete disaster. Of course, the value of a person cannot be measured by his clothes, clothes and clothes. We all certainly agree on this. A human being can only be measured with his heart, morals, literature and conscience. It cannot rise to humanity. Of course, if such a criterion were introduced, this could be what we call it. Unfortunately, since such a thing cannot happen, we have to accept everyone as human, without understanding who is human and who is human. In the meantime, we are also surprised when we see people who exhibit human behavior and therefore are surprised. Whereas, one shouldn't get into bad moods even if he is a king, right? “Be human first, human”, our elders used to say.

The Naked King Story:

One day, a little boy comes out and says "the king is naked"... Let's see how this happened, together. Once upon a time, in a far country, there lived a smug king who was very fond of his clothes. This king, who sees himself in the giant mirror, also admires his own intelligence and does not care about other people at all.

Another day, the king of another country said that he wanted to visit him. The first thing that comes to mind of our king when he hears that the king of the neighboring country is coming; “I wonder what dress I should wear”. He immediately called the crier;

"Send news to all tailors," he said. I want a garment that will have no equal in the world. I will revive the tailor who will sew me a unique dress. I will wear those clothes when I greet my esteemed guests. After a while, the news spread everywhere. The best tailors came to the king's presence and explained all the models they could make to his majesty one by one. But the king did not like any of the stories; He was shouting and calling to all tailors, saying, “There must be something better and more beautiful”.

A wise tailor who understood the situation asked the king to speak. He said, "My dear king, I will make a very special dress for you." The king asked how it would be. The wise tailor always said "I will sew a very special dress for you". “I will sew such a dress that it will be unique. No one will be able to wear this dress before or after you.” The king smiled happily at the tailor and said ok. I'm giving you this job!

The wise tailor said: "But I have one condition." "No one will interfere with my business or enter my room until the sewing of the dress is finished," she said. The king, delighted to find what he was looking for, accepted this offer. Immediately give a few bags of gold; "Come on then, start sewing immediately," he ordered. The wise tailor started working immediately. He retired to his room and received two bags of gold from the king every day. As the days and weeks passed, the king's curiosity began to increase. Finally he entered the room to see what fabric the wise tailor was sewing. The wise tailor was working hard on the sewing loom. The king silently watched the tailor for a while, and when he couldn't see anything, he said, "So you've been sitting idle for days, huh?" he blew and began to roar. "I've been feeding you for days, I'm sending you gold bags every day, is that why?"

The wise tailor calmly and confidently; “My dear king, this fabric is a very special fabric. Only smart people can see that.” said. Look how beautiful it is, isn't it?" King, so as not to be fooled; He had to say “yes, very nice” and quickly left the room. Before long, this rumor spread throughout the city. All for the king's new robe; "Only the wise can see this dress," she said.

Finally, the day of the ceremony came before the people were out of curiosity. The people were gathered in the field, looking for the king with curious eyes. The tailor took the king to the dressing room, took off his old clothes and dressed him as if they were real. Then he went before the king; He said, "You are magnificent, my dear king, you are really stylish." In the face of these compliments of the wise tailor, the king ignored his naked body in the mirror; “Thanks, it was very nice, I liked it very much,” he said.

The king came to the ceremony area with his new clothes. The gathered people were very surprised to see the king naked, but no one dared to tell the king that he was naked. At that moment, a young boy suddenly cried out from the crowd;

“The king is naked!”

Hearing this, the people began to laugh. Finally, the king understood the truth, albeit late. From the parable, each individual must be purified from arrogance and stay away from the manipulative and dishonest sycophants around him. This attitude is even more important for people sitting in high positions in politics and/or the state. If not, one day some of the people will come out of the children and they will unexpectedly say "the king is naked". In order not to fall into these situations, in these days, shouldn't we listen to the sane adults who didn't kill the child inside them?
