On Change, Power and Reading

You are in power and you will limit yourself! Do you think this makes sense? You are in power, why should you limit yourself?

1. The only unchanging thing is change itself, says the Ephesian philosopher Heraclitus.

2. In order to prevent the abuse of power, there must be a regulation by which power limits power.

3. No matter how much you read, no matter how much you learn, what you think you know and what you think you have learned is limited only by what you can perceive from what you have read, and when you want to tell someone else what you know, what is understood from what you tell will be limited only by what the other person understands you.

What am I saying?

I don't even understand what I have written myself!

***

What Heraclitus said in the first place is really incomprehensible.

What does he mean, the only thing that doesn't change is change itself?

He must have been joking.

If you're going to change, change everything? Destroy everything!

Even change the rules!

The only thing you shouldn't change as a rule is the rule not to change!

Is that what he meant?

***

If that is what he said, I object to this view!

First of all, why do we change everything?

Isn't it enough to change what needs to be changed? Isn't it enough to find out where the fault is and replace it?

For example, when I replaced the generator I was trying to repair, I bought the same one, because that model worked for me.

I didn't buy another model just because I was replacing it!

I think it's enough if it does the same job and doesn't malfunction.

If it needs to be replaced, I don't think it's necessary to replace everything from top to bottom!

***

Mr. Kemal?

If it's him, you'll change him too, of course!

But it has to be in accordance with the procedure.

Don't say that, the situation is not as you know, because of the statute and the party law, it is a case of "the blind leading the deaf".

It is not easy to remove him from that seat unless Mr. Kemal wants to!

OK, but who said he wants to stay there? Maybe he is planning an honorable farewell too!

After all, he sees the situation too!

The important thing is that he also wants to keep the current flowing...maybe he doesn't want an arrow!

Wherever the safe harbor is, he says he'll bring the ship to the safe harbor!

As for the others, I have to say everyone should mind their own business first!

***

Let's talk about power!

You are in power and you will limit yourself!

Do you think this makes sense?

Why limit yourself when you are already in power?

The reason is to prevent abuse of power!

Why should I abuse power, I am already in power, I can do whatever I want, why should I deprive myself of this opportunity for no reason?

So that someone else who comes to power does not eat your rights! So that he cannot do injustice to you!

Don't make me laugh, first let them learn how to be in power, then maybe I will think about it.

For now, there is no such risk, don't you see, they have already scattered when they were slapped by the elections.

In these local elections we will take the municipalities we lost in the last local elections, you will see!

On the contrary, when we are in power, we will do whatever it takes, state facilities if it is state facilities, montage tapes if it is montage tapes, lawsuits if it is lawsuits through the judiciary, imprisoning members of the press if it is imprisoning them unjustly! We will do whatever it takes!

Don't make me laugh, did you say an arrangement that would limit the power of the government?

If a regulation is necessary, it should be a regulation that will strengthen the power of the government!

***

The third point?

Look, I don't understand him either.

What perception? What perception?

If I read, I learn, don't I?

If I know, I know.

What are you getting at?

Are you saying I don't understand what I read?

***

Then if I am explaining something to someone, I explain it clearly, there is no problem that he doesn't understand!

He understands what I say!

So I honestly don't understand what the person who said that meant.

***

If you tell people everything as it is, one by one, with full clarity, people understand!

If they pretend not to understand, the problem lies elsewhere.

Either they are not interested in what you are telling them or they are content.

In this case, my advice is not to waste your breath, if you want to learn something yourself, read it yourself.

Do you not understand what you read either?

Look, then there is something wrong with you too. I don't know the remedy.

Maybe you can give up reading, but then you will remain very ignorant, I don't like that.

Look, let me try to explain it once more, this time in more detail!

1. Change is essential!

2. Being in power is important!

3. Read, reading is good!

Love and respect to everyone from Moscow.
