Turkish society's breaking point is under struggle
if you do the loading as pressure, not in a positive way, it will have lasting effects on the society after a certain stage. Just like in steel, when the yield point is passed, the effects that cannot be corrected begin to appear.
Breakpoint Tests:
Steel and concrete is one of our most important courses at the university. I studied Civil Engineering, naturally, first of all we learned how concrete and iron behave under load.
The basis of these courses begins with our examination of material properties in the laboratory.
With high capacity presses, we apply load to concrete samples and examine their breakage, we also examine the rebar in the same way, there are tools that apply tensile force to the iron on the contrary of the concrete. These devices graphically draw the effect on the materials as the heavy load increases. Elongation-shortening plots against applied load.
At first, the concrete resists as the load increases, the carrying curve rises, rises, peaks, and then capillary cracks begin to form in it slowly and the carrying capacity begins to decrease, the load it can carry decreases, that is, the resistance of the concrete under load begins to decrease. Even though the applied load has decreased considerably at one stage, the concrete cannot carry any more load, it breaks.
Iron behaves a little differently than concrete. First of all, as the load increases, the iron stretches elastically, so if you reduce the load back, the iron will go back to its original state. There is no permanent elongation at this stage. But as the load increases, it has a stage called the yield point. After this load, its elongation begins to become permanent, we call this stage the plastic behavior stage, first the load it can carry decreases a little, that is, the yield point on the graph makes a hill, then the load carrying capacity increases again, it is now hard. has become iron, its load-bearing capacity has increased, but it is now brittle. After the loading exceeds the yield load, it makes a hill again somewhere higher, we call this peak the maximum carrying capacity, if you load more, it cannot carry more, it starts to get tired, hairline cracks start just like concrete, the load it can carry decreases and if you load a little more, it breaks.
It's very technical, I know. But I have explained it in such detail so that we can exercise a little imagination.
Will There Be a Breaking Point in Their Societies?
I compare the behavior of society under pressure with the behavior of concrete-iron under load. Because society, under extreme pressure, shows almost the same behaviors like concrete, maybe steel.
For example, society submits to pressures up to a point, if you remove the pressure, it returns to normal. In many cases, we say that we need to normalize, as if in a flexible sense, just like steel. But as we increase the load, as time passes, we begin to show irreversible effects on a rolling stock, fault lines begin to form. Concrete is the same, capillary cracks begin to reduce its bearing capacity, fault lines have the same effect on society.
We can think of this metaphor in two ways. In other words, we can bring about a positive change by attracting and dragging the society. This change becomes permanent when it exceeds the yield point, just like in steel. In other words, if the society has changed in a subject, sometimes it becomes such a positive subject that if it has started to change, there is no going back. That's why I sometimes just laugh at those who say we went this far back, we went this far back. Some things cannot be reversed.
Is it an example? A society that learns the benefits of reading and writing will no longer benefit from reading, it reads.
Social Change Once Started, It Cannot Be Stopped:
Even if you want a society that has tasted technology and its benefits, you cannot break away from technology. Even those who claim to live their lives as the prophet lived because of the circumcision communicate with their mobile phones. He uses electrical appliances at home. We have installed speakers on the minaret, the sound is louder, sometimes even excessively, and it's easy, who will go up to the top of the minaret five times a day, while the microphone can deliver the call to prayer to people from below. Instead of camels, we travel in modern cars, and even if we have money, we ride the most expensive one. There are many examples, in short, technology is used, you cannot stop people.
You can't stop the women, you can't lock the lady who has a place in society life back in the house. Yes, he covers his head in accordance with his religious beliefs, prays in prayer, but also goes to the volleyball match, to the cafe or to the cinema. Even to the theatre.
By the way, let me share my opinion, in recent years, the word "woman" has been used as a reaction instead of the word "lady", women want it to be used themselves, but I still prefer to say "lady". First of all, even though "woman" entered our language a long time ago, it is not a word of Turkish origin, but we have another word, "hatun", which came into our language from Sogdian, a branch of Persian, and even evolved differently from the same root. Both seem a bit harsh to me for some reason, maybe even rude. I prefer to say "ma'am". At least "madam" is a pure Turkish, lady lady word. The women's league sounds a lot better than the women's league. So are women's organizations instead of women's organizations. I wanted to drop it as a note.
Attention should be paid to the Critical Threshold Before Fracture:
If we go back to our subject, if you do the loading as pressure, not in a positive way, it will have lasting effects on the society after a certain stage. Just like in steel, when the yield point is passed, the effects that cannot be corrected begin to appear.
The most important of these is the abused religion, which alienates the youth from religion in particular. The religious abuses in recent years, today many young people have lost themselves to various movements, many of them say that they are deists. Deism is not a bad thing, of course, but as far as I can see, the current policies lead the society to deism, in the exact opposite of the direction it wants to be transformed, and deist generations are growing up. I hope one day the situation will be understood with all its nakedness and this mistake will be corrected as soon as possible.
I am someone who is at an equal distance from every belief, I think the issue of belief is personal. I once wrote something about this. Maybe my readers who follow my articles will remember.
But society is different, we are all members of this society. Therefore, mistakes made affect us all. We all live in this society. The situation is the same for me, the fact that I live abroad does not change this fact. I have never felt apart. That's why I oppose all kinds of pressure or wrong decision that have permanent negative effects on society as much as those who are aware of it. At least I'm telling you what I know to be true to the best of my ability. I'm happy if it helps someone.
The Pressure on Turkish Society Is Not Good:
At the point reached today, there is great pressure on the society, it is not just economic pressure, our social codes have started to change. People don't trust each other, we don't have respect for each other, we are divided into poles, this situation is already serious enough. The polar opposites began to see the others almost as enemies. However, we live together, we are neighbors, we took and gave birth to daughters, we are related, we are one, we are the same society.
Previously, at least educated people were also respected, now only those who have money are respected, but that too for show, until they cross the bridge. We have become a very self-interested society.
It is impossible to understand who has real love and respect, perception has come before everything else, perceptual reality is like a dangerous weapon, there are many people around us who have been brainwashed.
Most of the people have lost their ability to analyze rationally, they are brainwashed every day by the press, by the media, they all do it, not just in the mainstream media. This is true not only for the supporters of the government, but also for the opposition. Blind support exists on both sides. Various cults have surrounded all parts, even the state, they are exploiting the pure religious feelings of our people, they are now separating people into camps.
This is not a healthy situation sociologically.
At this rate, we will exceed the maximum load carrying capacity of the society, there is a breaking point behind it, if we come to the breaking point, it will break, no one can hold it, no one knows how this society will react after that stage.
Conclusion:
Please do not force this society to the breaking point. Do not scratch the ethnic or religious fault lines anymore, we are all one, this society knows this very well, but if it reaches the breaking point, it will not end well, there will be no going back. Don't force it anymore.
Whether it's concrete or steel, it breaks. I personally tested it at the university, even steel can't hold up when I push too hard.
As the Turkish society, we have come very close to the breaking point, I can see this, let's look for ways to bring this society together again before it's too late.
I guess the key word is human love.
Love to everyone from Moscow.
