Why did Kilicdaroglu become Persona Non Grata (undesirable person)?

Kılıçdaroğlu's promise of three ministries and the undersecretariat of mit, which he gave to a party, is described as a real scandal. On Mr Imamoglu's side, it is seen as a betrayal. Kılıçdaroğlu is being dragged into a persona non grata in his own party.

A diplomatic term used in inter-state relations for a foreign person or persons whose entry into or stay in a country is prohibited by the central government of that country.

This term comes from Latin, which is the main source language of most European languages.

*

In this way, many diplomats were declared persona non grata and expelled from the countries where they served. Of course, this situation caused enough deterioration in relations between countries.

***

After the election defeat, storms are brewing in the opposition.

Especially within the main opposition party, CHP, some people say "Change!" and say that the president Mr Kılıçdaroğlu should resign after so many electoral defeats and that the party should be renewed with a new and young president and continue on its way.

Mr Imamoğlu stands out as the most serious candidate in this regard.

*

Mr Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, on the other hand, argues that I am the chairman of this party and that it is his main duty to bring the party safely to the harbour with the ship-captain metaphor.

The fact that local elections are on the horizon seems to be preventing a calmer resolution of this intra-party turbulence.

So where is this safe harbour?

In his own words, the congress!

***

Yes, for some people Mr Kılıçdaroğlu is a "persona non grata".

All the blame for the election defeat is placed on his shoulders.

Is this blame solely his fault?

Of course not, but he is not less to blame either.

*

Especially the promise he made to the Zafer Party, which he had to explain implicitly in his last television interview, the promise of three ministries and the undersecretariat of mit is really described as a scandal.

On Mr Imamoglu's side, the last zoom meeting, which was described as a betrayal and leaked, is an indication that the swords are now drawn within the party and the ranks are clear.

On the one hand, congress activities have been initiated.

***

Today, the party assembly meeting will be held to evaluate the objections regarding the dismissal of some provincial and district presidencies that have raised the flag for change.

It is not yet clear what kind of developments this meeting will lead to within the party, but it is a fact that the witch cauldron has already started to boil on the opposition front.

The supporters of change think that such dismissals by the headquarters at this stage are unfair.

***

So, if the "persona non grata" syndrome against Mr Kılıçdaroğlu results in his resignation, will everything be resolved?

Will it be a solution if Mr Kılıçdaroğlu says, for example, "OK, I am not running for the presidency in this congress"?

***

As a matter of fact, Kemal Bey seems to have been worn out and made mistakes in this process compared to his moderate personality.

He continues to make mistakes.

*

But by this I do not mean the secret concessions he made to the Victory Party between the two elections by taking full authority into his own hands.

The party, including the alliance parties, had already given him all the authority in those days.

And he used this authority.

That's why I don't understand the scandalous characterisation of these issues today.

*

If there is a scandal, I think it is a bigger scandal for Mr Ümit Özdağ to reveal this agreement between two people.

To be honest, I don't understand why he did this.

*

I think it is not a scandal that Mr Imamoğlu held zoom meetings with the party members.

I guess it would be naive to expect a person in his position and popularity to behave differently in order to resolve internal party issues.

He has caught a wind and he is a politician after all.

It is certain that he will utilise this wind to the fullest.

If it were up to me, he has a lot of work to do in Istanbul, I would personally prefer him to focus on Istanbul at this stage.

But he is a politician! Politicians interpret life differently than us engineers.

*

But secretly recording his zoom meetings and then leaking it to the press as a scandal and a betrayal, yes, actually doing this is a sign of betrayal!

To even think of such a thing within the party is a scandal in itself.

*

Was this done with the knowledge of Mr Kılıçdaroğlu?

I don't think so!

But look, if so, this would indeed be a scandal.

*

Another scandal is that Mr Kılıçdaroğlu condemns such meetings. Let's not call it a scandal, but let's call it another mistake he made.

In fact, the fact that he resented these meetings without actually criticising the leaking incident is an indication that he made a mistake.

If it were me, I would immediately cut off those who did this from the party, saying who would think of doing this nonsense.

***

Yes, it must be psychologically difficult to be seen as "persona non grata" by someone, one way or another.

It must be really hard to carry on your life under this pressure as if nothing had happened.

Even if he/she tries to look like that from the outside, some of his/her behaviours still cause him/her to give himself/herself away.

*

I understand, he has a lot of responsibility.

That's why, no matter how much he wants to control himself, somehow he can't control his feelings either.

It's not easy, he lost an election he believed in his heart again. After all, he was also very upset about this situation.

*

That's the reason, that's why he doesn't seem to be calm anymore.

I think people in his position should get some kind of psychological help during their duties!

*

Yes, Mr Kılıçdaroğlu is really under extreme pressure.

Even in the television interview, it was obvious that he was quite mentally down.

When he did not have any answers to some questions, he was in the mode of "don't let the goose burn".

*

Especially when he preferred to slur his words when those who said "change" were asked "renewal", what do you mean?

It was as if he wanted to say that we are renewing the cadres, what more do you want?

*

Of course, the fact that he did not want to accept the election as a defeat was another way of slurring his words.

*We didn't win!

Because?  Blah blah blah...

*

For example, "Can Erdogan hold another election today?"

Let's see him do it!

In his inner world, he probably could not internalise the election results.

He is eating his insides.

*

However, how close he was to the government.

All polling firms were showing him ahead in the polls.

In the polls, it seemed that he had finally reached the majority that could prove the opposite of the "you can't win!" discourse, which was one of the main criticisms against him all this time.

How come he failed?

*

Because this election was not a fair election,

Because montage videos were shown,

Because the ministers used all state facilities to the fullest.

Blah, blah, blah.

In his own inner world, I guess this debate and unacceptance must be going on.

***

Well, let's leave the conflicts within his inner world to him.

As voters, do you think it is easy to accept that a party like CHP has fallen into this situation?

Is Mr Imamoglu, the potential young party presidential candidate, the right person?

Let me ask a more interesting question.

Does it matter who will lead the CHP now?

For example, Mr Kılıçdaroğlu would be re-elected as president with this party charter no matter what happens in the congress...

Does it matter?

***

The truth is that the order that has been in place for 21 years continues.

Whether you call it the deep state, foreign powers or the established order, Mr Erdoğan has once again emerged victorious from the elections and people have once again given him the authority to govern the country.

Now, is there any point in complaining that I should have broken my hand and not voted for him?

The foreign currency is on the rise again, the inflation monster is on duty again, whether you call it the cost of living, whether you call it poverty, whether you call it not increasing wages enough, whatever you want to call it.

The excise tax, MTV, VAT will also increase, the tourists from Europe will enjoy the country with their earnings, and you, the normal citizen, will continue to eat each other in the old way, having lost your social morality.

In the meantime, the haji hodja team, sect sheikhs and congregations will endeavour to take over the country as never before.

Because for those at the top, they are travelling to the same destination as themselves, wherever the destination is, all these congregations, sects, that is, the destination is the same for everyone.

***

I think it doesn't matter whether you call it renewal or change.

Whether the captain will be this or that, I don't think it matters at this time.

When it comes to the captain, it is the captain who steers his ship.

It seems that the ship on the horizon is another ship, the opposition ship seems to have already ended up at the bottom of the ocean.

Now we do not need a captain, we need engineers who will build a new ship that can be boarded with peace of mind and travel through life.

Yes, Mr Kılıçdaroğlu, taking into account his years of fatigue, should voluntarily leave his post as soon as possible, before he is openly declared "persona non grata" by everyone.

Even if not immediately, he should at least clearly announce the way out now, so that the opposition can be restructured in this process.

This is my personal opinion though. I would have done this before who knows how many elections.

But I am not a politician, I am an engineer.

The minds of politicians work very differently from us engineers. They can easily say yesterday is yesterday.

I don't have much hope, but I hope everything will be very good.

Respect and love to everyone from Moscow.
