The Power of Community

No matter how powerful you are, in front of the law, in front of society, you are weak. This is true for everyone, those who think they have power today, and even those who have the opportunity to get rich, tomorrow they will feel powerless in front of the power of society.

Do you know who the members of the international boxing federation are? Okay, I am not asking if you know them one by one.

Let me rephrase my question, do the members of the international boxing federation have to be boxers? Or do you think they are made up of former boxers? Or can they be from different professions?

Okay, let's skip this question. I don't expect an answer, it's not really important for the topic. But as you can imagine, there is no requirement that the members of the federation have to be boxers.

What about a referee? Is there a requirement for a referee to be a boxer?

As far as I know, there is no such requirement in football, there are police officers, inspectors, tourists or dentists among them.

But all referees, regardless of their actual profession, have to undergo special refereeing training. I think there is no bet on that either.

Why did I go into this topic and especially in a tough sport like boxing? Because I found this hard sport more suitable for the conclusion I wanted to reach. As you know, boxing is also a sport, even though it is hard and violent.

Yes, let me continue.

I think it is certain that a boxer fighting in the ring is much stronger than a referee. You can say that there can be a stronger referee. Okay, there are lightweight boxing matches. But at least you will agree that boxers are better trained.

But in the ring that boxer has to listen to what the referee says. When he says stop, he stops! When he says box, he fights.

Have you ever seen a boxer who doesn't stop even when the referee tells him to stop, or even punches the referee in the eye because what are you saying?

Let me make it a little more provocative, the referee deliberately takes sides, have you seen a boxer beating a referee when he was wronged?

Although there are videos of referees being accidentally hit on the internet, but as I said, they are accidental.

Maybe there are one or two boxers somewhere who beat the referee on purpose, but usually there is no boxer who messes with the referee, even if he is wronged.

Is it because the referee is too strong? Is it because the boxer is afraid that if he hits one punch, he will get ten punches back from the referee?

Why are boxers afraid of referees? Aren't they stronger than the referee?

Or does it have nothing to do with fear?

Of course not, when the referee says stop, all boxers listen to the referee, because that's the rule of the game.

If you don't play the game according to the rules, they won't let you play the game again.

The real power is not in the wrist or the arm.

The power is in the one who plays the game!

The one who makes the game doesn't need arm strength. He gets his power from somewhere else.

It is the power given by society. The boxing federation gets its power from the laws.

In the international situation, it is the power that comes from the union of states. The international federation can ban you from the games even at the national level.

No matter how strong a boxer is, if he is excluded from the games, if his license is revoked, he can only use his power in street fights, but he can no longer fight legally. But if he's given a suspension, he has to wait for it to expire, there's no other way. In other words, if he is doing this professionally, he can't make money again.

This is the power of society. That is the power of the law. No matter how powerful you are, in front of the law, in front of society, you are weak. This is true for everyone, those who think they have power today, and even those who have the opportunity to get rich, tomorrow they will feel powerless in front of the power of society.

What society wants is what society wants! There is nothing stronger than the power of society.

You have to play the game according to the rules!

I just wanted to remind you.

Love and respect to everyone from Moscow.
