Lieutenant Mehmet Ali Çelebi

As a bright young officer on the list of victims, he attracted the attention of the CHP and was subsequently nominated as a candidate and became an MP.

Years ago, a friend of mine told me, I wasn't sure then, and I'm not sure now. Is it more dangerous to do a wrong on purpose? Or the one who does it unknowingly?

My friend used to say that the one who makes a mistake unknowingly is more dangerous. Because he is not aware that he is making a mistake, he is not sure when he will be wrong again.

The one who makes a mistake on purpose is already doing wrong, knowing that what he is doing is wrong. He would say that either he is willing to accept the possible outcome if it will end up hurting himself, or he has bad intentions if it will harm others, he shows himself in another way, and in both cases, he would reason that you can take precautions to protect yourself. He may be right.

However, I feel that the one who makes a mistake on purpose can be more dangerous if he has malicious intentions and is able to disguise himself well.

The one who makes a mistake unknowingly can be forgiven if he is someone who can learn from his mistakes.

You may ask why this subject came to your mind now. That's why it stuck in my mind.

I don't know why a young lieutenant was victimized in the Ergenekon trials.

I'm talking about Mehmet Ali Çelebi, the people's deputy.

Actually, I don't know much about him, only what is reported in the press. He graduated from Maltepe Military High School at the top of his class and from the Military Academy at the fourth rank, graduating in 2007 as a brilliant young officer.

In fact, most of those victimized in the Ergenekon trials are senior staff officers. Almost all of them were included in the trials in order to empty the ranks because they were interfering with someone else. Since the aim was to take over the army, the tactics were right and of course the senior staff was targeted.

But a young lieutenant doesn't actually make any sense. However, he has to be popular enough for the conspiracy, but he has to be pure enough for the purpose, so that he serves a purpose in the fiction. Otherwise, Mehmet Ali Çelebi would not have been in a position to block anyone in those years.

In the end, as a brilliant young officer on the list of victims, he attracted the attention of the CHP and was subsequently nominated as a candidate and became a member of parliament.

I have no doubt about his patriotism and other virtues. In the conditions of the day, he was both a symbol for the party and a successful MP with an open path for himself, and his services to the country are also admirable.

However, even though I admired what he did in the parliament of the nation, I could not make sense of his recent drifts. This latest drift reminded me of my memory with that friend I wrote at the beginning.

Yes, although I found his exits within the party correct from time to time, I considered his leaving the party as a mistake. Although I regretted his later wandering, I still did not think of it as a malicious intention.

However, this last swing of his was the last straw that broke the camel's back.

Now I really wonder, for what reason did the CHP make someone who made so many mistakes an MP?

I am not so sure about his previous mistakes, but it is certain that he made this last mistake on purpose. So, as I said at the beginning, he should accept the consequences.

I still can't put malicious intentions on him, but naivety, I'm not so sure about that anymore. I think he has enough experience in that parliamentary seat.

I think it should be defined with other words for a person to side with cadres who have done so much harm not only to him but to the whole country.

I don't mean this as an insult, but as a character analysis, I can say that the traumas he experienced at a young age had a very bad effect on his character. Otherwise, it seems to me that after all these experiences, one cannot forgive those who did these things to them. For example, I cannot forgive, I cannot digest the fact that this government was deceived.

I can only think of one thing, to conquer the castle from within. Who knows, maybe this is the reason.

Even so, I wonder if he thought that the government would not take this into consideration, when he is such a well-known figure, the government will only allow him to act where it is useful for him. They will not allow him to get any inside information.

His joining the party seems to have already benefited the government. The IYI Party RTÜK member, who has not been appointed for a long time, will soon be appointed from the Ak Parti cadres thanks to the new member. Lieutenant Mehmet Ali Çelebi, aka Lieutenant Mehmet Ali Çelebi, will be of no other use to the government after this time.

What can I say, let them make the best of it. Human beings are like that, as they say, they suck raw milk for a reason.

Good luck to him too. I hope he will continue his services to the country in his new place.

Love and respect to everyone from Moscow.
