Not only the presidential candidate but also the cabinet should be announced

6 March 2023 After the meeting to be held on Monday, it is understood that a consensus has been reached that the candidate of the Millet alliance will be announced. I have written before that I am in favour of announcing who will serve in the cabinet together with this candidate. Whoever the candidate of the alliance is, he should also announce his cabinet before the election.

We are close to learning the Presidential candidate of the Millet alliance.

From the last statement, it is understood that a consensus has been reached that the candidate of the Millet alliance will be announced after the meeting to be held on Monday 6 March 2023.

I have previously written that I am in favour of the announcement of who would serve in the cabinet along with this candidate. Whoever the candidate of the alliance is, he/she should also announce his/her cabinet before the election.

At this level, it should also be revealed how the ministries will be shaped together with the candidate and which party will take how many ministerial posts. The latest surveys conducted by reliable firms can be used in this evaluation. At the end of the election, it should be agreed that the board will be clarified according to the vote rates received. In this way, both the Good Party's objection to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's candidacy will be prevented and all the components of the Millet Alliance will work to win the election in the field.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's opponent will have much more influence in the eyes of the public if he appears not alone but with his cabinet. Therefore, the public's favour should be sought not with a single person, but with a team, and the candidate of the Millet alliance should announce his ministers together with himself before the election. This cabinet should be determined as soon as possible and should work like a shadow cabinet so that the government will have to do its job better and the opposition will be aware of the problems and solutions.

In this way, the public will know who will be responsible for everything from the economy to foreign policy, from the fight against terrorism and natural disasters to unemployment, from agriculture to industry, from education to the immigration problem, and will evaluate whether they can solve the country's accumulated problems and vote accordingly. In addition, the members of the cabinet, together with the youth and women's branches of their parties, will have to work hard, make efforts and put forward their own programmes for both their presidents and themselves during the election period. This situation will have a positive effect on the people's preference on behalf of the Millet Alliance. The wider the alliance, the higher the vote rate will be. Therefore, if the Millet Alliance candidate wants to win the election, he/she should act with a team that can meet on a common ground and get support from all components other than the People's Alliance. In this sense, Kılıçdaroğlu's meeting with the chairmen of the Left Party and TİP can be considered as a right step. It would be right to meet with the heads of all opposition parties, especially HDP, Memleket, TDP, Doğru, Yeniden Refah and Zafer Party, and ask for their support. In fact, a meeting should be requested even with the leaders of the MHP and BBP, which are in the People's Alliance, and these parties should also be invited to the National Alliance.

After all, politics is not just a leader's job, but a team job.

While thinking about these, I wanted to share once again the list of the cabinet of ministers of the Millet Alliance, which I had previously announced.

Of course, the President, who will be elected by the people's choice, will appoint his own ministers.

Of course, there may be changes within the board, if the candidate of the Millet Alliance wins, maybe he/she will hire a few ministers in the future, who knows?

20 Male, 3 Female, 23 Ministers, when we evaluate the distribution of the ministers according to the parties according to the vote rates in the polls and the participation of all opposition components except HDP (HDP's participation in the council of ministers was not foreseen as it would break the alliance), the picture that emerged about the parties of the ministers is as follows:

Good party 4

Other Parties 8

Saadet party 1

Democratic Party 1

Future Party 1

Deva Party 1

Labour Party of Turkey 1

We also propose the establishment of 3 different ministries for Maritime Affairs, Anti-Corruption and Immigration Affairs, given their importance.

Let's see if you like it.
