Such is our Social Sociology

The result was not as expected. In the previous elections, as you know, Mr. Erdoğan successfully completed the election in the first round with 52.5%. He had won. In this election, he has almost maintained the rate he got in the previous elections. His votes dropped by 3%, that's all. All these economic problems, all these living costs, all these mistakes he made, all these earthquakes, you name it, all these are valid reasons for him to lose votes. So how is it that he is able to maintain his votes at this level?

Yes, the presidential elections are officially in the second round.

Needless to say, in the first round, Mr. Erdoğan received almost half of the votes by a hair's breadth, i.e. 50%, Mr. Sinan Oğan received 5% and Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu received 45%.

Now many commentators on the screens are talking about this and that.

This is their job, of course, they have to interpret what happened somehow.

Naturally, this result was greeted with enthusiasm by those in power, while the opposition is in a state of unexpected shock.

To tell you a lie, this result surprised me too.

Until yesterday, the results of the surveys conducted by the polling firms showed that Mr. Erdoğan would be in the 42%-43% band at most and Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu would complete the first round of the election at least 4-5 points above him.

If the election had indeed gone to the second round as the polls showed, there would have been a demoralization, but the motivation of the second round would have been much more positive for the opposition.

But the result was not as expected.

In the previous elections, as you know, Mr. Erdoğan had successfully completed the election in the first round with 52.5%. He had won.

In this election, he has almost maintained the rate he got in the previous elections. His vote dropped by 3%, that's all.

All these economic problems, all the cost of living, all the mistakes he made, the earthquake, the earthquake, you name it, all these are valid reasons for him to lose votes.

So how is it possible for him to maintain his votes at this level?

Of course, experts will have deep analyses to answer this question.

The opposition front is a broad front with representatives from all segments of society.

There are economic experts, welfare state experts, young people, modernists, conservatives, you name it. An all-star mix!

In other words, a cadre that is not at all inexperienced in state administration.

And the promises are not just empty promises. Moreover, they had the chance to prove themselves in practice with the municipalities they had won.

They even said they would give free houses in the earthquake zone.

Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu even told the retirees that this government is eating your rights, and that when I come, I will give them a 15,000 lira holiday allowance.

So why didn't the voters show favor to Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu?

Wait, don't immediately say if it was Mr. Imamoğlu or Mr. Yavaş.

Even if it were them, maybe the result would have changed by one or two points.

The problem is different!

Sociologically, our society is like this. No matter what you do. No matter what you say, they say no, he says he is the leader and the leader.

Nothing has any effect. Even the revelations made by those closest to him don't work.

"Ak, ak, ak" dances the lady with the head tied at the rally. When asked if she loves him very much, she says "ooo, I'm dying".

There is no way to convince this voter.

It is physically impossible in the short time left.

Let's make new promises!

All these promises didn't work, do you think new ones will work?

The unthinkable has happened, a whole region has been destroyed. Moreover, the government acted very incompetently.

Perhaps because of the fault of the government, tens of thousands of people died under the rubble, moaning and groaning.

Despite this, even in the earthquake zone, Mr. Erdoğan's votes were higher than Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu's.

You, my beautiful brother, you know how you ran to the earthquake zone with your humanitarian feelings to help, maybe you shared the three pennies in your pocket with the disgraced people there because they were in need, those people voted for Mr. Erdoğan more!

They saw him as a better savior than you!

***

In short, look, my beautiful Ak Parti brother.

Believe me, I am trying to understand you.

I don't know why you didn't go to the voting booth at the last second to put your seal on Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu.

But shall I tell you this?

Even I have not been able to put my hand under the stone as much as he has.

He is 74 years old. If I were that old, I would probably already be working in the vineyard and garden. I would love my grandchildren when they came by.

And I wouldn't have to go through all this trouble just to get the country back on track like him.

I guess you can't say he is doing this because he is ambitious, the man is openly showing what kind of life he leads.

Even if the channels you watch footage from his kitchen didn't show it, it must have caught your eye somehow somewhere.

He is just like you and me. He doesn't live in palaces or anything like that.

His only intention is to give you and me a chance for a good future.

But who am I saying these things to, right?

"Reis de reis, ak ak ak ak, ooo I'm dying."

What can I say, come on, guys, let's try one more time. Maybe this time there will be some among the Reis voters who will wake up from the dream.

The representative of the nationalists?

Mr. Oğan was saying 30% potential, but the reality is 5%!

Now, as if he has done something good, he says, "Look, I told you that the nationalists would determine the fate of the election". Moreover, he does not hide his intention to bargain for the elections by calling himself a minister.

I know their lungs, but I won't say anything more now.

Come on friends, shake your heads and come to your senses. Time is very short. Sometimes, even if you are down by ten points, with a good tactic you can have a chance to win the game.

Of course, in volleyball, it's a comeback with a good attack.

It's not a game, I understand that. It's a sad fact of life!

The guy didn't win the first time. Maybe he won't win the second time either!

Love and respect to everyone from Moscow
