"The Man" Wins Again
If you say that you have a say in the people's choice, no way! I only have a word for what the government did during the election propaganda, but what does my word matter? I had one vote, and I did not bother to go and cast it in both rounds. Now that the opposition has taken care of the ballot boxes this time and the people have chosen Mr. Erdoğan, he will legally rule this country for another five years.
Yes, this election is finally over.
Although we have been saying for a long time that this country is badly governed, don't do it, don't do it, Mr. Erdoğan, who has superior skills in winning elections, took this election by saying "There are video footage with those in Qandil, but montage, but this, but that", by slandering, by lies, by presenting the election as a conquest, by saying yes, everything is permissible to win.
When I was writing this article, not all the ballot boxes had been counted yet, the rate was 98.94% on the Anka Agency screen. Mr. Erdoğan received 27 million 337 thousand 710 votes and Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu 25 million 183 thousand 537 votes. The distribution was 52.05% - 47.95%.
At the same time, on the Anadolu Agency screen, the count rate was 99.02%, Mr. Erdoğan received 27 million 190 thousand 435 votes and Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu received 25 million 18 thousand 415 votes. 52.08% - 47.92%.
We can say that the difference is around 4%. We can say that 2 million 172 thousand voters gave more votes to Mr. Erdoğan.
I can make a more detailed analysis when the final results are announced, but this kind of analysis will be done by experts in the coming days.
So what will happen now?
There will definitely be an earthquake on the opposition front. The earthquake actually happened, now let's see who will survive under the rubble.
It is certain that there is no such thing as a national alliance.
Most likely, the opposition parties will turn inward with the deputies they have obtained in the parliament, and especially the parties that joined the alliance later will continue on their own, grateful for the deputies they have obtained, if they can come together and form a group in the parliament.
Let's see what the two big parties of the alliance will do.
Thinking about the upcoming local elections, maybe for the time being they can throw up blood and drink the results of this election as cranberry syrup.
Is it possible? Maybe.
Nevertheless, the coming days seem to be pregnant with heated intra-opposition debates.
***
Mr. Erdoğan is naturally very happy. He even sang a song.
But his job is not that easy either. It seems difficult to govern the country in the same order with the current policies.
I think it is highly likely that at least some revision will be made in economic policies.
New ministers will be appointed and the policies carried out so far will be continued in some way.
We will wait and see together.
I wish the elections to be beneficial for all of us.
Love and respect to everyone from Moscow
